Color Inspiration Challenge #46 No.2

I am participating in another one of Kristina Werner’s Color Inspiration Challenges, AGAIN! I couldn’t help it! I just kept going! Once again, here is the challenge:

Here is my card:

Here is how I used the colors:
basic black – flamingo outlines, flamingo beaks
riding hood red – flamingo
regal rose – flamingo
pretty in pink – flamingo
bashful blue – “gracias”, picket fence

Here are some more photos:
I was so happy to use a Spanish sentiment. Here is a card I can send to relatives!
Some may question the blue picket fence, but, trust me, I am from Florida, and I can almost guarantee that there is a blue picket fence somewhere. There is probably a pink one too :).

I just love flamingos! They are the best! They really do come in different shades of reds and pinks, so it was fun to make this card!

Thanks for visiting!
Have an amazing day,

Color Inspiration Challenge #46

I am participating in another one of Kristina Werner’s Color Inspiration Challenges. Yay!! So fun!! I had a hard time with this one at first, but I ended up having a blast with it. So here is the challenge:

And here is my entry:
Oh how I wish I had a light box to take better photos. I always have to take the photos at night, and I can never get the picture just right!
Once again I don’t have these exact colors, but I got as close as possible! Here is how I used them:
basic black – balloon outlines, hedgehog, “what’s up?”
riding hood red – balloon
regal rose – balloon
pretty in pink – balloon
bashful blue – clouds and bottom scallops

Here are some more photos of my card:

I love this sentiment! So perfect with the balloons that are flying away.
The balloons are popped up on dimensionals the right most balloon has two dimensionals for extra effect.
How cute is this hedgehog? I love that he looks a little “furry”.

Thanks for visiting!
Have an amazing day,

lawn fawn video ThurFriday!

Why ThurFriday, you ask? Well, youtube is being s-l-o-w, so my video upload started on Thursday but is ending on Friday. At least I hope so. I am actually typing this part of the entry as it uploads, so as far as I know this could be a lawn fawn video ThurFriSatday. Let’s hope not! 🙂

I hope you enjoy the video this week. I am highlighting one of my favorite new obsessions: border punches! They are super fun! I give some tips on lining up the Fiskars brand ones in the video. I also use a stamp-a-ma-jig in the video, which is almost as fun to use as it is to say. So enjoy the video and enjoy your weekend!

Thanks for watching!

Have an amazing day,
kelly marie

PS. It took until Friday at 6pm to finally upload!!! Woah! It was almost a ThurFriSatday video!
