Happy New Year!!

My sweet friend, Nancy, recently did a “top ten” post. I just love the idea! You have to check out her cards. They are WOW!
So I decided I would post my top ten cards of 2010 as it comes to a close. These cards are favorites or sometimes ones that are special to me. 2010 has been a year filled with just about every emotion, but over all it has been amazing! I am hoping that 2011 brings you all joy, happiness, love and health. I will be celebrating tonight with my sweet hubby. We will ring in the New Year with classic Cuban traditions: we eat 12 grapes at midnight and we throw cups (or sometimes buckets) of water! What does this mean? Well, the water symbolizes all of the bad that happened the past year, so you throw it away and put it behind you, so you can start fresh! I love this tradition. It’s fun and has a great meaning! I’ve also chosen my word for 2011: joy. I want this word to remind me to make everything joyful, even the most mundane of tasks. There is joy everywhere, and I want to make sure I experience it and not let it pass me by. I wish you all joy as you ring in the New Year!
My Top Ten:
love
celebrate sunshine

Hello! I have some exciting news! I am going to Australia with my family! This is been a huge dream for all of us to go since we were little, and we were supposed to go last year but my mom had emergency back surgery, so it had to be postponed exactly a year, which is why it is now at the craziest time to go ever! Right before CHA! Ahhhh! That is why we have been working so hard. We really want almost everything done before we leave January 3rd. We come back on the 19th!
Now, don’t worry, we are still filling orders! You will be getting thank you notes from Erica! 🙂 The other wonderful thing is that we are going to be featuring the design team while I am gone! Fun surveys and cards! I can’t wait for you guys to get to know the design team better! They are absolutely amazing people! 🙂
Also, I may be a bit slower to answer emails, but I will be staying at a friend’s house with access to internet, so I am not disappearing! 🙂 I appreciate your patience with any email slowness.

Hello! Today I have some random cards for you! This one is a tiny little card that would be perfect for a housewarming gift! I just love Harold’s ABCs to customize fun stickers!

Here is a *very* belated Hanukkah card. It was so cute in person, but I could not photograph it for the life of me! Don’t you hate when that happens?
I wanted it to look like the dreidel from Happy Hanukkah was spinning so I stamped and silver heat embossed it at different angles. The silver Hambly transparency and the silver tinsel like ribbon makes the dreidels stand out!

This is actually a card without stamping. What?!?!? I had some extra Christmas chipboard pieces and I wanted to use them! I also used some of my extra chipboard pieces as present tags for Christmas! It was a great way to use up those little ones I hadn’t been able to use yet!

Sending hugs to you all!
