Can anything be more festive than lots of bright Christmas lights? Chari used Lawn Fawndamentals cardstock in rainbow colors for her card featuring Mini String of Lights! I love how she white embossed the outlined words from Offset Sayings: Christmas on black cardstock for a bold greeting design!

Megan paired the cute How You Bean? Christmas Cookie Add-On set with a beautifully gold-embossed greeting from Offset Sayings: Christmas! Adding white gel pen to the inside of the letters really makes them pop!

Eloise‘s gorgeous card has so many fantastic details! I love how she white embossed the solid font greetings from Offset Sayings: Christmas and combined them with the phrase that is white embossed on Black Licorice cardstock! The pretty pastel strings of Christmas lights make an interesting focal point while her ink blending and water splattered background looks like a snowy wintry landscape! The trees from Yeti or Not add a cheery pop of green!

Mini String of Lights is a fun set to use for adding great embellishments to holiday scrapbooking! Melissa added some sparkle with silver glitter cardstock for her light string!

Audrey‘s awesome card uses black and white with lots of bright! She stamped Gingham Backdrops on the bottom of the card then she added a brightly colored gift border from Simply Celebrate Winter along with the Ho-Ho-Holidays Santa! I love her greeting with the “bright” rainbow of color!

Yainea‘s card is so elegant! Her lovely color combination of kraft with shades of aqua is an unexpected palette for the holidays! She added some beautiful touched of gold with glitter cardstock and gold embossing!

Melissa M‘s gorgeous scrapbook layout features bright borders of Mini String of Lights and pretty Snow Day Remix papers! I love how she added “holidays” from Offset Sayings: Christmas to her journaling tag!

Latisha‘s card is a fun fusion of elegance and whimsy! The cute Christmas Fishes images were heat-embossed with Rose Gold embossing powder for a beautifully unique look! She finished this simply fabulous design with a Black Tie bow at the top!

Grace made a beautiful shaker design with the Stitched Star Frames and Outside In Stitched Star Stackables die cut from Gold Rush cardstock! The tiny flecks of gold in the cardstock ties it in with shaker mix, twine and Offset Sayings: Christmas background!

Elena‘s Ho-Ho-Holidays design is so amazing with the Foursquare Backdrop: Portrait! The dark navy blue sky is so pretty! The greeting from Offset Sayings: Christmas looks so cool with the hand-drawn white highlights!

Kara used a pretty mix of Snow Day Remix papers to set the stage for her whimsical pull tab interactive card! When you pull the tab, Santa pops out the top of the chimney revealing the rest of the happy Offset Sayings: Christmas greeting! I love how she added a Mini String of Lights border along the edge of this brilliant design!

Elise‘s design could not be more cheery, bright or colorful! Her beautiful cardsfeatures Offset Sayings: Christmas to stamp a custom backdrop with beautiful inks in matching colors! She used the companion phrases in the set to create bold greetings!

Karolina used our glittery Holiday Sparkle cardstock pack to add lots of pretty shine to the Mini String of Lights on her simply gorgeous card!

The cute jar of Christmas Cookie Add-On cookies is a fun image for a bright and cheerful holiday card! The Offset Sayings: Christmas greeting looks so fun with the solid words offset just slightly from the outline words!

  1. I decorate with multi-color twinkly lights! When you make the video, please be sure to tell us how the lights were colored to make them look like glass (Chari’s card). Thanks! 🙂 The cards are fantastic!

  2. I love twinkling lights outside and in! I love all the bright colours and festive mood they bring! This has been an excellent inspiration week and I love all the stamps and dies! Bravo!

  3. YES it would not be Christmas with out the lights every where, love white outside it looks like snow at night. But inside I love the multi colored because it reminds me of my Christmas when I was a child. Great cards today everyone

  4. Great work by the design team as usual! We have strings of lights on our tree and on the front of our house. They make it look so festive!

  5. We love decorating with strings of light. Every year we add another strand or two to the collection. We just have to watch out for the parrots and cockatoos who like to peck the wires.

  6. I love changing up the string lights on our Christmas tree. I always preferred small white, but when my girls were smaller, they wanted colored lights. That made me get a little more adventurous each year, and the past few years have been bigger retro style white lights on the tree :)!

  7. Love this string of lights die! It makes a great border and works great on the house die! I don’t usually string lights, but I’m thinking about it this year because I have 3 small granddaughters and I think they would love it!

  8. Yes! We use them outside, on a big wreath, and inside on the tree. I use the retro large multi colored bulbs as I just feel like that is a traditional Christmas look! I love this die set- I feel like you could do so much with it.

  9. I love the pull-tab card by Kara – brilliant! Of course, I love all the projects. Thank you, Design Team for another wonderful week of inspiration. The mini light string is one of my fav products. I use lights on my tree only, maybe some mini lights in my little village and, now, I’ll have lights all over my cards 🙂

  10. I love using string lights scattered around my table displays! It wouldn’t be Christmas without lights everywhere !!

  11. I decorate with lots of mini white lights. Loved all the inspiration this week! Really love the Santa popping out of the chimney card!

  12. Depending on the theme I’m doing dictates what color lights we use. Winter theme would have white, blues, snowball and icicle lights. Our mishmash tree has colored lights. I think they add a nice sparkle to the holidays and highlights the ornaments.

  13. I have been decorating with lights at Christmas since I was 10 years old. We use lots of lights over the house as well as the trees and bushes around.

  14. …white lights everywhere. Extension cords tucked in & hidden all year long waiting to be fished out and lights plugged in!
Inspiration week has been so awesome. I marvel at all the talent on display. I find myself saying, ‘hey, maybe I could try that!’

  15. You know what’s so “weird” about a Lawn Fawn Inspiration Week?!? So. You see the release prior a lot of times, and the goodies are available for purchase. But you think “that so great, but, yea, I don’t NEED that item”. Then you get to Inspiration week and see the products used by this amazing design team and, all of sudden, you NEED everything. Gosh, that 1st photo – Chari’s card using rainbow twinkle lights – BEAUTIFUL! Then it just snowballs (no pun intended haha) from there! I love every projects – and an so inspired by the creativity. Great products LF & great work showcasing everything DT!! Love it all!

I don’t usually use string lights at Christmas, but my kids use them in their rooms year round and LOVE them!

  16. Lots of great ideas! Yes, we put a few lights outside, a few inside and on the tree. My kids get to put a string in their room!

  17. The balcony & trees in front of the house the white ones they are prefect for all year round and bbq’s outside so romantic ..

  18. Oh I love all of these beautiful design team examples! And I love to decorate with string lights both inside and outside my home!

  19. Since we don’t put a big tree up, we put strings of lights along the top of entertainment unit. I also put the smaller twinkle battery operated ones in a jar of ornaments. It looks really pretty!

I am IN LOVE with all the cards today!!

  20. I put a string of lights around the picture
window. Have small trees on each side
of the window that have lights. Don’t do
much to the inside anymore. Love
    the rose embossed Christmas fishes.

  21. Yes! Lots of strings of lights. Inside and outside! I love the string of lights die set, and thanks for the inspiration, I am going to play with these dies tonight!

  22. We live in an old home and have never hung lights because we didn’t have outdoor electricity, but we had it put in this summer so we can finally have lights this year and I’m so excited.

  23. Latisha’s heat embossed card is so neat! What a great design idea! I only use lights around the tree, but if I weren’t so lazy I’d probably put them everywhere – they’re so pretty. I have a bunch of Halloween lights also that I should probably try to put up this year.

  24. Decorating with lights is an understatement at our house! My husband buys more lights every year to go with the ones he has. One day we’ll be that house that everyone drives too!

  25. No lights here! I think they work better in places when the sun sets early enough that you can enjoy them. When it’s summer and light until 9pm or later, they don’t make sense!

  26. I ADORE the lights! I decorate with those white BUSH lights…. so they aren’t a string but you just throw them over a bush 🙂

  27. I love the simple mini string of lights cards. It’s a nice front to hide something fun and unexpected on the inside. Most of my Christmas decorations come with lights already attached, does that count?

  28. We have strings of lights along our roof border in the front and lights under our backyard patio cover and of course our tree and around the inside of our house love the cards today

  37. I really like the Mini String of Lights die!! This item definitely goes to my wish list. I usually decorate my christmas tree with glass ornaments and strings of lights!

  40. Wow so many incredible projects! What an incredible week it has been, so much fun! I love decorating my house with strings of lights, it wouldn’t be Christmas without them!

  41. Lots of colored strings outside and twinkle white around the fireplace mantel. I love to sit in a dark room with just white lights gleaming when it is snowing outside.

  42. We decorate the house (and the trees) with tons of string lights! I love the brightness of the house both inside and out when they are light by the delicate and tiny lights! Such a beautiful season!

  43. Lots of lights on the outside of the house, and lights on 6 themed trees inside! We even have lights that change between colored and clear on the main tree, so we can switch them back and forth or set them to morph between colored and clear.

  44. Our place is small and we have only one string of white lights… I love white lights… makes the season even more magical.
Love the string of lights die. Great DT inspirations all week. x

  45. We try to watch our energy usage so we stick to inside lights instead. A string of lights on the mantel (plus the tree of course) can look really festive. The paper lights on the cards are great energy savers!

  46. I always put lights on the tree! When we buy a house someday you can bet I’ll be covering the house in them as well!

  47. You guys are AMAZING! The things you create – I always want to buy the entire release EVERY release so I can re-create all these spectacular projects! 52. Oh yes! Strings of lights are non-negotiable! Husband is very particular about how he strings our tree, and it looks absolutely magical every time. We also have strings wound around garlands outside…but we do use a couple of the net lights on our bushes.
This is a great set of sentiments! I always need more sentiment stamps 😉

  53. We love using the different colored lights all over the front yard and back porch area! We like our trees to have white lights, but prefer color everywhere else. More great ideas from the team! So much talent! So much to look at! Love it!

  54. I love the look of colored lights around the roof line. I over-decorate the Christmas tree with lights because I really like the look of a bright, twinkling tree.

  55. Fabulous ideas! Love the inspiration!
My tree is pre-lit, but I do have strings of lights that I use elsewhere, including on the front of the house! Love the look of them!

  56. I only put lights up on my tree. I think it’d be too hard for me by myself to put lights up on the house. But I always think they look pretty with a pine garland on the stairway so maybe I’ll do that someday.

  57. Oh yes! The more lights the better, I say!!! And I love the fun
string of lights die shown today; a must have (of course!). And the
wonderful words. Awesome inspiration every day this week – well,
    every single day, really. lol

  58. The merry & bright with black gingham is my fave for today!
I do like the strings of teeny tiny lights, with a battery, that I can put anywhere.

  59. We have some simple string lights around the edge of our roof that we just leave up all year. We only turn them on when we feel like it, but this is much easier than taking them up and down at the holidays!

  60. I love to decorate our home with multi color twinkle lights, but on our Christmas tree are only white lights. On our balcony I have the whole year a multi color string of lights and I love it.♥ All design team creations are so adorable, love this inspiration week so much.♥

  61. Yes, I decorate with strings of lights. But inside I like the white (clear) lights. Outside is color.
I have this set, now I need to start playing!

  62. I love the inspiration! I decorate my living room and kitchen with string lights, apart from what is on my tree! Love the warm glow from them!

  63. We haven’t strung outside lights for a number of years now, but when our boys were younger at various times we had the big old fashioned Christmas lights, icicle lights and snowflakes. My husband always took it personally when sections of the lights stopped working so now we limit our lights to the inside. LOL!

  64. We always use string lights. Mainly on the top of the porch. I would use them on all my cards if I get this set lol.

  65. Wow!!!! You have an amazing design team.

Love to hang lights. I decorate with white lights because I have a Coca Cola Santa theme. And with the white lights shinning on the red is just beautiful.

  66. Although I’d put lots of colored lights on my cards I actually only decorate with lots of white lights at home. Love these sets.

  67. It always makes the holiday more festive and now that we’ve gone to LED, I feel better having them on and not wasting a ton of energy!!

  68. OMG, the ‘Mini String of Lights’ die set seems so versatile and totally amazing. The cards looks so realistic. To top it off, there is 2 patterns to adhere the lights to the cards. Awesome!

  72. OH WOW!!! The DT has outdone themselves AGAIN!!! So many idea’s that make me want to rush to my craft room!! LOL!! I LOVE LIGHTS! If I had nothing else on my tree I’d at least be happy with lights. I have them EVERYWHERE at xmas time. Even on my banister…..well ok anything you look at has lights on it or in it. LOL!!

  73. Kara’s card is especially amazing, wow!! I love hanging colorful lights on my tree and the fun holiday look you get looking in the window or from another room when the lights are out.

  74. Oh my gosh do I ever decorate with strings of lights! The more the merrier!!!!! They’re so pretty! I always hate to take them down!!! I love these samples!!!!

  76. I use twinkly lights inside and outside! I like to add a string of multi-function lights on my trees and windows and icicle lights on my house! I use lots and lots and lots of lights!!! They’re my favorite!!!

  77. I do decorate the outside of the house with strings of light. I used to string lights around the tree but upgraded to a pre lit one.

  78. I use strings of white lights on the tree and mantle but I love my memories of the old fashioned large bulb outdoor lights of many colors from the 1950s.

  79. We decorate the front porch of our house with strings of lights. I love to drive around the neighborhood and see all the houses lit up.

  80. So many awesome cards! I love the string of Christmas lights and, yes, I decorate with Christmas lights – both inside and outside the house.

  81. Since I was a child I have always loved to decorate our tree with both strings of brilliant white lights and popped popcorn kernels strung together onto string.
    Thanks!

  82. We decorate with lights inside and outside…typically with white lights on the outside and multi on the tree inside. Beautiful examples of these super adorable sets!!, both are sure to make the holiday season merry and bright!

  83. Sure do! My husband puts them up around the edge of the roof and sometimes on the trees. We don’t put on tree any more because it’s a pre-lite tree. Love your new set!
