Today is our showcase of Stitched Rainbow and Starry Sky Stencil! Brighten up your cards and crafts with this cute rainbow! This set of dies include “stitched” details, puffy clouds, and optional happy faces to bring a smile to your day. This set includes individual “bow” dies and a base to make assembly a breeze! This starry stencil is great for creating your own nighttime sky scene! It works well with a variety of crafty techniques.

The design team has made the most amazing samples! We also have two videos at the end showcasing some fun ways of using these new sets! Remember to click on the person’s name to see all of the details and leave these wonderful DT girls some comment love!

Elise paired her happy little Stitched Rainbow and smiley clouds with a lovely stenciled cloud background and a sweet sentiment from All the Clouds!

Tammy‘s pretty tall slimline card features the Stitched Rainbow in happy Tropical Shimmer cardstock colors! She inked the background then added pattern with the Starry Sky Stencil! The Unicorn Picnic critters are right at home among the clouds and rainbows!

Yainea‘s beautiful card has a cool watercolor background! I love the layers of clouds and the pretty silver embossed sentiment from All the Clouds!

Lynnette‘s card is so happy! The bright colors of the Stitched Rainbow are reflected in the Really Rainbow Stitched Rectangle Frame! The Sklyer Remix pattern from Hello Sunshine Remix is perfect in the background!

The Starry Sky Stencil creates a sweet star-filled night sky! Elena‘s gorgeous design features Smooth Sailing and a Fancy Wavy Banner for the sentiment!

Latisha‘s fabulous Stitched Rainbow card is so sweet, it totally makes me smile! Those smiling clouds and colorful rainbow stripes are just perfect on the stenciled clouds in the background!

This is such a sweet Fairy Friends birthday card! Grace used Chunky Glitter to make the Stitched Rainbow into a shaker element! She added glitter paste to the background using the new Starry Sky Stencil. I love how she added Scripty Happy and Scripty Birthday on the long clouds from Unicorn Picnic!

Audrey‘s pretty Stitched Rainbow design combines the Sparkle Backdrop with cute stamped clouds, a sun and sunny sentiment from All the Clouds!

Elise added a sparkly star filled sky to her cute Car Critters scene using glittery glimmer paste and our new Starry Sky Stencil!

Megan‘s super happy card features a colorful Stitched Rainbow with a Stitched Cloud Frame shaker! The Pixie Dust Sparkle cardstock adds so much shine!

  5. I live in Hawaii, so we pretty much have rainbows constantly! Last time I saw one was a month or two ago, though, since it hasn’t been raining as often anymore. These stitched rainbows are soooo cute!!!! The only other rainbow die I have is from the shadowbox add on, I can’t wait to get my hands on this set!

    1. Honestly cannot remember the last time I saw an actual rainbow but I do see rainbows everytime I leave my house in the windows which have been made by the children of my neighbours

  10. Today’s reveal has me so excited! I’ve been wanting a rainbow die set and this stitched one is just right. I especially love it paired with your new puffy clouds backdrop. I guess the last rainbow I saw would have had to have been last summer. It always feels so special to spot one!

  14. Rainbows are always amazing, both in real life and on cards. When in doubt – put rainbow colours on it, LOL! I saw a beautiful rainbow last year in autumn, it was one of the strongest ones I have ever seen, actually! The colours were so vivid, I couldn’t believe it! I just stood and looked for a long while, and there were many people doing the same.

  17. Love all the fun rainbow cards! I just saw a rainbow on Sunday. We had a quick rain shower and then the beautiful rainbow. A few years ago I saw a rainbow over the lake. It is a small lake about a mile wide. The rainbow went from one side to the other and it was amazing!

  21. Today’s showcase is so fun! How colorful! I’m trying to remember the last time I saw a rainbow … We’ve either had storms during the night or gray rainy days recently, neither of which would present a rainbow.

  22. Actually, it has been a while since I last saw a rainbow. It was in February when we were on vacation at the ocean. After a short shower we saw the rainbow from our car. It was a nice picture.

  24. I loooove this stary stencil! It would be so useful to make a nice card! My last sighting? Maybe yesterday? Living in tropical islands for last 20 years, having squall very often, sighting rainbow is very common. I think of , like “ok, rain might come this way”. LOL 😉

  71. My last rainbow sighting was this past Saturday we went to this cute ice cream shop that overlooks The Valley and it suddenly started sprinkling and thunder and a few minutes after there was this beautiful rainbow and the sun was just glowing it was beautiful!

  78. One of the last times I recall seeing a rainbow was on our journey across the country a year ago. We drove for CA to VA. We were still on Camp Pendleton renting a cottage by the beach🌴, and I looked out over the bay side and saw a rainbow. It gave me a good positive hope that our journey would be successful and safe.

  108. So many awesome cards with these rainbows and the starry stencil. Back in February while I was walking with my daughter to the school bus around 6:45am, we saw a double rainbow that was really soft and muted.

  139. I love all the cards with the rainbows and pretty skies. It has been so long since I’ve seen a rainbow. I remember seeing one a long time ago when I was in Ireland and thought maybe there was a leprechaun at the end of the rainbow and once when I was growing up I saw one in Colorado and it appeared to end at this gold mine that was open to tourist. We thought it was funny because there really was gold at the end of the rainbow.

  154. Love love love this!! That rainbow! Those clouds!! Sweet! My last rainbow sighting was in a store called “Art & Happiness” which sells Lawn Fawn and other crafty goodness. Elli, who owns the shop, painted a rainbow border along the top of the wall in her shop. It looks amazing and blends from one color to the next, all along the top edge of the wall. It is striking yet subtle. I love rainbows, unicorns, and clouds. This release has it all!

  182. I just love the stitching details on these and all your dies that include them! Stencils are so great at adding details and depth but at an affordable price! We have had a few thunder storms already this year and after one when the sun came out there was a beautiful rainbow! Such a symbol of hope and renewal!

    The last rainbow I saw was on vacation a few weeks ago at a waterfall near Elk River, Idaho. This particular waterfall has a perpetual rainbow whenever the sun is shining and it is iconic for the area. All the depictions of it everywhere in the area show it with its rainbow. It was gorgeous!!

  189. This Saturday ! The sun was out and there were random showers while the sun was out and we saw this beautiful rainbow .. we were on our way to Dominos needless to say it was a beautiful sight and yummy food that made this day a good one lol .

  191. I was at a stop light and looked out into the fields and lo and behold there was a complete rainbow. It always makes me want to drive toward one end in search of the pot of gold, but I don’t!

  194. My last rainbow sighting was behind my house a couple of weeks ago. We had just had a heavy rain and the clouds were parting and the sun came out. We have a fabulous view of the river and marshes with Jekyll Island in the distance. We saw a full rainbow that looked like it started on one of our bluffs and ended near Brunswick.   209. Rainbows have always been a favorite of mine. We see them pretty frequently in the Seattle area. I almost always take a picture but I rarely do anything with them.

  210. My last rainbow sighting was out of my kitchen window. There was a faint second rainbow almost like a colorful shadow of the first! The starry stencil and stitched rainbow make such cute cards and go so well with the unicorns!

  212. Super cute rainbow! Love the shaker card. The last rainbow that I saw was so memorable, it was down in the Virgin Islands, in January. I was on a sailboat so you could see a complete double rainbow from end to end on the horizon.

  261. My last “rainbow” sighting was actually yesterday. I have a faceted candle holder on my dining room table, and the late afternoon sun was coming through the sliding door and hitting the candle holder, making prism “rainbows” all over my ceiling and walls.

  304. Sometime last month, either after the tornado or the hailstorm we had a few days later, was the last time I saw a rainbow. Not being able to go out and about as frequently has meant more time indoors, so I love that I will be able to at least add some sunshine and rainbows to my crafts with the new release!

  305. Two weeks ago today we had an afternoon thunderstorm with lots of hail, wind and lightning. There was a beautiful rainbow when it was finally all over. I wasn’t able to see the beauty through all the hail damage my car received but I took a couple of pictures anyway. Several days later looking at the pictures I was able to see the beauty of Mother Nature instead of her devastation. The insurance company was great and the car goes in next week for repairs. Not really a pot of gold but it helps.

I can’t think of the last time I saw a rainbow but I can remember a memorable one – when my 8 week old son was discharged from his first ever visit to hospital after his diagnosis with cystic fibrosis – I saw it as a sign of hope – and that little baby is now 17 and in his last year of high school!

  315. Rainbows always make me smile! About a month ago I looked out my front window to see if the rain had completely stopped and noticed my neighbors across the street sitting on their front porch and staring intently at my house. I went outside to speak with them and they pointed at a beautiful double rainbow that arched across the sky directly behind my house. I’ve seen a double rainbow only a few times in my life so this occasion felt extra special!

    The last rainbow I saw was the following day after all the dams in the lakes failed and 11000 people were evacuated with any deaths or injuries. We had 9 inches of rain the 4 days before the dams failed. The rainbows were a surprise sighting and a vision of hope to come. Midland STRONG!!!

  409. Hmmm I can’t tell when I saw a rainbow recently but I do remember seeing the prettiest rainbow ever when on holiday in Suriname in 2014. We were in a boat on a river to our jungle cabin for a few days when we saw a rainbow cloud. I was one of the prettiest things I have ever seen, all the colours of the rainbow in this one cloud, it was mesmerizing.

  437. Love the stitched rainbow die! Such adorable projects! The last time I saw a rainbow was last month and it was in Niagara Falls. We are only an hour drive from the Falls (Canadian side). With the pandemic and everything being closed, Niagara Falls was like a ghost town. So sad. The only bright spot was seeing this gorgeous rainbow magically appear right over the Falls. It was gorgeous!

  440. My 3 year old is good at keeping an eye out for rainbows. We have had such grey weather here the last little while. There is always such an excitement with the spotting of a rainbow. Would be a few weeks ago at least I think.
