Design Team Inspiration

Before she created this totally adorable How You Bean Buttons Add-On grouping, Kara added shiny hot foiled clouds! I love the beautiful shades of blue on the buttons, so cool! She added stitching on the elephant so it looks like its stuffed and “threaded the needle” for even more detail!

Wow, Megan‘s Mother’s Day card is so gorgeous! She assembled the Darling Daffodils into a pretty bouquet before adding them to the How You Bean mason jar! She found the greeting in Happy Happy Happy!

Marine combined How You Bean Buttons Add-On with Reveal Wheel to create an interactive card that is so cute! She used the Reveal Wheel Semicircle Add-On so the buttons rotate back and forth. It looks like the bear is juggling, so clever!

Elena got really creative and used just the smaller daffodil pieces to fill an upside-down Stitched Umbrella! The bright Spring colors of the flowers look so beautiful against the deep blue of the Quilted Heart Backdrop!

Caly used How You Bean Shaker Add-On to create this adorable shaker mason jar! She filled it with the colorful buttons from the Buttons Add-on and layered it on a sunny Really Rainbow panel! So much fun!

Oh goodness, Grace‘s Darling Daffodils card is so sweet! She colored the blooms to complement the beautiful What’s Sewing On paper and tied her bouquet up with a bow from Build-A-Barrel Apple! Adding the little elephant and sentiment from Elephant Parade Add-On is just so perfect!

Lynnette‘s Darling Daffodils looks so pretty layered on a Woodgrain cardstock panel! She added another layer of Stripes ‘n Sprinkles paper to frame her lovely design!

Tammy‘s baby card design is so sweet and cute as a button with the jar of buttons! I love how she used Oliver’s Stitched ABCs with the sentiment and added the elephants from Elephant Parade Add-On and Wild for You! The blue stitched design from What’s Sewing On is so perfect to welcome a baby boy!

With a quick swap of colors and patterned paper, Tammy’s lovely design is also perfect for a baby girl!

Caly’s Darling Daffodils card gets a bright pop of color from the new Vertical Rainbow Stripes washi tape! I love this sentiment from Offset Sayings: Everyday. It looks so cool white embossed on black on this colorful design!

Elise paper-pieced the Darling Daffodils with a combination of What’s Sewing On and Stripes ‘n Sprinkles papers. The muted colors looks so pretty and the hot foiled Big Scripty Words greeting is the perfect finish!

Audrey inked and splattered a Stitched Ripple Backdrop before creating a sweet little assemblage of cuteness! She combined How You Bean Buttons Add-On with Sew Very Mice with bright rainbow colors! This card design is so amazing!

The lovely lavender Running Stitch paper is the perfect backdrop for Latisha’s beautiful thank you card! And it also looks great with the dainty yellow Lazy Daisy Stitch she used for the daffodil petals! And then the addition of bright green and blue cardstock makes this design so special!

Sew Very Mice and Sewn with Love together with How You Bean Buttons Add-On make Marine‘s slimline card “sew amazing”! She has such away with crafting a fun scene!

Rebecca’s card design lets Darling Daffodils be the star! Pairing the pretty flowers with cute images from Eggstraordinary Easter makes a perfect little Easter card!

  1. I’ve always loved carnations. My grandparents grew them when I was a kid and when they would visit, they would always have a little posey of carnations and/or pansies from their garden. I have tried to grow them myself but don’t have the green thumb they had 🙁

  2. I have 2 favourites. Is that allowed? I have my ultimate favourite – an orchid. But my favourite that I’m actually able to grow and keep alive is the daffodil. I absolutely love the dies! So pretty and I’m feeling inspired. Bring on spring! Excited for tomorrow where it’s all available…the anticipation is great with this release!

  3. Loving the buttons add-on, so brilliant!
My favourite spring flower are snowdrops, because they’re such a sure sign that spring is coming!

  4. My favourite spring flowers are tulips. There’s a beautiful place nearby that has a tulip festival in the Spring and the colours are so stunning!

  5. I love snowdrops – the first sign that winter will be over soon and spring is close. And peonies – if those count as spring flowers. Their big blooms and sweet fragrant are so amazing. But really, anything blooming after winter is such a joy to me.

  6. As much as I’m loving these Darling Daffodils, I really like Cherry blossoms for spring flower. Here in Japan there are many many cherry blossom trees and when they blooms and fall away its so Beautiful. Lawn fawn Darling Daffodils are definitely in my wish list.

  7. Tulips are my favorite then the daffodils. This die set is a must have for me! I loved all of the cards today especially the Mothers day daffodil card it is gorgeous.

  8. My favourite flowers are tulips 🌷💐 but I generally love flowers 😍 they make our world colourful and beautiful 😍
Same for this release – I love it 😍 can’t tell which is my favourite item. All of the showcased sets are so gorgeous… thank you for the wonderful inspiration and intro videos ☺️

  9. Crocuses are my favourite. You know spring will be arriving when their cute little faces start peeking up through the snow! Thanks for a great release!

  10. Snowdrops. And the Crocus. Then comes the Tulips. Then it’s summer! YAY!

    This release!
And that’s all I have to say about that. Can’t find the words for it…. or… well…. BEST EVER!!!

  11. Loving the daffodils – so pretty! My favorite spring flower is a tulip if the squirrels don’t get to them first.

  12. Tulips since there are so many different colors and variations but daffodils are a close second since they grow almost anywhere

  13. All of my favourite flowers are Spring Flowers, Daffodils, Lilacs, Lily of the Valley & Tulips. Thank you for the chance to win. Good luck everyone. Thank you for another amazing Inspiration Week!!

  14. I have an Asiatic Lily flowering plant that comes up every spring but sadly, it blooms only for a couple of weeks. The flowers are the most amazing orange colored blooms!

  15. My favorite spring flowers are pansies. I loved them in Disney’s Alice in Wonderland. I also like Daffodils. A neighbor down my street plants them every year and I love how cheerful their garden looks.

  16. My favorite flower is the daisy. I am not sure if it’s specifically a spring flower… I like it because it’s the one you draw when you think of flowers.

  17. I love daffodils! They used to grow wild in the pasture (someone must have dropped some bulbs by accident??) and every year it surprised me how early they would appear.

  18. I guess my favorite is tulips, but I am just happy to see any flowers after the winter.

This looks to be another incredible release. There goes my budget.

  19. My favourite spring flower has to be daffodils. Seeing their bright yellow petals standing proudly makes it feel like winter is finally ending and warmer, brighter weather is coming.

I’m excited to create some with this die!

  20. Favorite flower to me is our state flower, the Jack-in-the-pulpit, found in the woods. Rare, like all your artists talents, they make it easy for the rest of us to create with your wonderful products including the new daffodils. WOW

  21. Love the versatility of the daffodils.
They can be used in so many ways. They are easy and quick to cut, paste and create amazing cards!

  22. Definitely daffodils! They multiply every year. One way to find a spot that a home used to be is to look for those daffodils….they come back for years and years!

  23. Well this is going to be a fun addition to my little Lawn Fawn collection. Just darling. I love any spring flower really, after a long winter, I enjoy pops of color wherever I can get them.

    1. I love purple iris and lily of the valley in my garden. A bunch of tulips in a vase or peonies in the house is so pretty and adds much color to a tablescape
These daffodils dies are very nice, great for various cards including sympathy ones which Lawn Fawn doesn’t have much for those as most sets are just too cheery. Thank you for the beautiful inspo

  24. My favorite flowers are snapdragons and marigolds. I don’t know if they are spring flowers, but I love looking at them any time.

  25. Oh Lawn Fawn … You have done it again! These daffodil dies are incredible! I love them. I live in the Pacific Northwest, where a LOT of daffodils and tulips are grown, and the fields of these flowers are incredible. Absolutely stunning! But, my favorite spring flower is cherry blossoms. I love them so much! I love the cherry blossom tree stamps you have, but I would LOVE a cherry blossom die set, like the daffodil die set. Thank you so much for another incredible release! I LOVE Lawn Fawn!

  26. Not a big outdoors fan but I love watching the lilac bush and the tiger lilies bloom in my Mom’s garden. My Mom’s favourite flower is daffodils so she was very excited to see the new Daffodils die.

  27. The daffodils are so stunning, can’t wait to make many projects with them. And now I really need the how you bean as well haha.

  37. Those buttons are on my must have list and the sewing mice are penciled in as well. I love tulips in the spring! And when I see them in bloom, a bunch of daffodils always makes me smile!

  38. Daffodils are so special to me. Mom’s gone now, and baby Anne is grown and launched, but Daffodils will always remind me of them. When baby was a newborn in September, it was time to plant bulbs. Mom held baby while I planted Daffodils bulbs – 4 or 5 at a time – as baby needed to be fed every 10 or 15 minutes. To this day, when those bulbs bloom, it’s as if they’re sending me messages of love and beauty. Thanks for designing Daffodils, just for me!!

  39. My favorite spring flowers are daffodils and tulips. I love seeing them poking out of the ground, lets you know spring is arriving and winter is finally coming to an end ♥

  40. Thank you for a great release week. The.crocus is my favorite spring flower. I love seeing the beautiful pops of color through the snow.

  41. While i may not be of popular opinion …i love the dandelion!! It is the first one that pops up here so to me it is a promise of spring and summer!

  42. Another great add-on, especially the daffodil. Your design team are so talented – beautiful cards!!!
I don’t have a favourite flower – I am more drawn to colour choices (anything that comes in white, blue or purple shades).

  43. I love spring flower! I love tulips because they are so easy to grow and come up everywhere in my front garden in the spring. I love hyacinths, too, because they smell so good!

  44. Although we can’t grow Parrot Tulips here in southern California, they are my favorite. But of the ones we CAN grow, it’s definitely my Daffodils. I have the white with yellow type. They pop up when I’m not looking, and surprise me!

    1. Hyacinths are my favorite because of their scent-we had them near our house growing up, and the smell really takes me back.

  45. I was born in March (I’m the “lamb” on the 31st, LOL!), yellow is my favorite color, and daffodils are my most favorite flower of all time (it’s March’s “birthflower” in case you didn’t know.) When I get those bulb catalogs in the summer I love to just take in all the delightfully different kinds of daffodils there are and dream about having them covering every inch of my yard!!!

  46. Daffodils are my ultimate favorite spring flower , I have different colors all over my yard. I will definitely need to get the daffodils.

  47. I love the button add-on for the How you Bean line! The daffodils dies are so pretty! My favorite spring flowers are tulips and daffodils!

  48. Daffodils are my favorite spring flowers! I’m so excited you will have them now!!! I love all the sewing and button themed items! Thank you for a great release!

  49. I love hyacinth in the spring! That strong floral scent is wonderful after a long winter. A sign warmer weather and longer days are on the way!

  50. My favorite flower here in the mountains of North Georgia is wild wisteria. Just gorgeous! It grows everywhere! Spring is amazing, after it flowers it just looks like a thick vine. You would never know it’s beauty was there!!

  51. Happy to see crocus pop up – spring is
coming. Love to see a mixture of tulips.
    The new release is darling.
    thanks for sharing.

    1. My garden has Daffodils, Crocus, Tulips, Iris’, Snowdrops, Lily of the Valley, Grape Hyacinths, and Bleeding Hearts. Love seeing them emerge, even if we get another round of snow to cover them.

  52. I love how lilacs fill the air with their amazing scent and if the wind is blowing right….makes my house smell amazing!
This new release is so sweet!

Thank you for the beautiful

  54. My favorite is the gardenia. I first gave to my dad on Father’s day. He never saw or smelled such a perfumed flower as he grows and lives various flowers. As of this date a bush grows by his grave always sweetly for him.

  55. Daffodils is my favorite spring flower and so easy to grow. I have several varieties and they multiply fast. I have over 100 blooming at one time. Got love it. Will definitely be adding this set to my collection

  56. I love gardenias because of their heavenly scent. But I adore all flowers, really. I don’t have any daffodils in my die stash!

  57. Tulips and Iris have always been the first flowers up in my flower bed. I even have Iris that are from the original homestead- over 100 years in the family. Those are definitely my favourites.

  58. I love all spring flowers! Daffodils are one of my favorite and right now there are these little white bells that are blooming but I don’t know the name and they are gorgeous.

  59. My favorite spring flower would have to be the tulip. As the snow melts and the green shoots pop up from the dirt you know something pretty will soon follow.

  60. I think crocus are my favourite spring flower. Spring is my favourite season… its so hopeful of lovely warm bright days xx

  61. I love all of the spring bulbs, but the earliest arrival of the crocus always gives me joy that the cold winter weather is ending!

  62. I love the addition of the daffodil die and have all kinds of plans for it but my favorite spring flower is actually pansies. My little hedgehog is named petunia after the hardiest and most forgiving flower so I love them too!

  63. My family is all allergic to most flowers. The only ones I bring into the house are tulips. They are my favorite spring flowers. Thanks for all the great intro videos and inspiration this week!

  64. It seems like I can’t ever pick a favorite but right now my favorite if I had to choose would be Peonies. I just love how they bloom. They are beautiful with a bunch of them in a vase. Secretly though I will always put hyacinth at the top of my list because I am a sucker for the beautiful smell of them.

  65. My favorite spring flower is tulips – but the deers always get them! I think though that I really “need” this daffodil die.

  66. The DT have knocked it out of the park again! I particularly love Elena’s sample in the upside-down umbrella. My favorite flower is the freesia, because of its scent but I love daffodils and tulips too so this daffodil die is wonderful

  70. Yay, love these! I think buttons was one of my suggestions months ago, for what could go in that cute jar! Delighted to see the cute buttons, and the daffodils are stunning! It just to happens that daffodils (and yellow tulips) are my favourite spring flowers! 😀

  71. My favorite spring flower is the tulip! You plant the bulb in the fall and get a great surprise that they actually came up in the spring! These cards are amazing! Thanks for the inspiration!

  72. I LOVE the buttons! My favorite flowers are Gerber daisies, they’re so colorful and pretty. Another amazing release Lawn Fawn! Absolutely love it all!!

  73. Any spring flower that can actually bloom after a long, cold Rocky Mountain winter is my favorite! But I can narrow down my long list of spring favs to peonies, tulips, and pansies!

  74. Uh…. So I don’t know what are considered ‘spring flowers,’ but my favorite flowers in general are Irises and Echinopsis ‘flying saucer’ hybrids (the large flower of a hedgehog cactus).

  75. Where I live spring flower does not have the same meaning as many other places….it’s often possible to grow things out of season and overwinter plants (even tomatoes and peppers). My favorites are irises.

  76. Hellebores – they’re a definite sign that spring is on its way! I have 5 different varieties and I am always on the lookout for more ❤️

  77. These new sewing themed supplies are all so adorable! Those buttons! <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 And those daffodils really ARE darling! I really enjoyed seeing all the projects the design team made with these new goodies. It is all pure cuteness!!!!

Regarding my favorite spring flower — you all are asking such tough questions! I'm thinking hydrangeas have the number one spot in my heart, but I also love tulips and peonies…and daffodils…and camellias…really, I never met a spring flower I didn't like.

  78. I love tulips – I have some very tall ones that are beautiful! I also adore daffodils… they make the house smell fresh and springy even though they are not wildly pungent like hyacinth or lilac.
    Lori S in PA

  79. Hyacinth is my all-time fave! But i can’t grow them in the mnt where i live. So sad. So it’s only daffodils that will grow. I’m at 4500 elevation. BUT THIS last bit of inspiration with the daffodil flowers is my favorite. So many ways to use them! Great inspiration.

    1. I have two favorites! Violets and Lily of the Valley. Lily of the Valley is my birth month flower. I loved a little song I learned in grade school abt it. The other are violets. I have volunteer violets that show up in my front lawn and flower beds. They signal the coming of spring and they used to appear in my grandma’s lawn. They bring find memories of being at her house.

  80. Irises are my favorite spring flower. Of course, I do enjoy all of the spring flowers that bloom ahead of them. We are very fortunate where we live (Indiana). The previous owner did a wonderful job landscaping. We have something blooming from early spring until fall. We have daffodils popping out already this year.

  81. My favorite spring flower is the crocus. I love tulips, too, but the crocus is my favorite because it pops out just when I’ve had it with winter to remind me that spring is almost here. 🙂

  82. My favorite spring flowers are tulips, crocus, hyacinth and daffodils. Thank you for sharing all the wonderful products.

  83. I love Daffodils they are my favorite but I also dearly love tulips and the wonderful smell from a hyacinth.
I love the daffodil and the umbrella in this release the daffodils are awesome.

  84. Oh gosh, I love them ALL but I do get a thrill when I see all the little daffodils peeking out after a cold winter!

  85. I think it would have to be a toss-up between tulips and daffodils. I love them both! This has been such a wonderful release and amazing inspiration by the design team.

  86. Peonies are my favorite! But you sis the daffodils right. They are so pretty and I love all the various colors the team used on them. So springy and creative!!
We love you all, too! Ty for being YOU!!

  87. Daffodils have always meant spring to me! They are also the national flower of Wales where my mother had family so they hold a special place in my heart.
