Design Team Inspiration

The design team has made the most amazing samples! Remember to click on the person’s name to see all of the details and then leave these wonderful DT girls some comment love!

Our brand-new Sweet Spiders and Sweet Spiders Add-On sets are so adorable on Elena‘s pretty pink design! In addition to the new sets, she also included the cauldron from Purrfectly Wicked and rocks and moon from Wild Wolves. Spiders, spiderwebs, and candy, so cute!

Audrey‘s Halloween card is so “crawl-some”! She arranged the Sweet Spiders on the new Spiderweb Backdrop for an extra bit of spooky! I love that perfect purple color in the background.

To create her clever design, Megan selectively inked the Sweet Spiders spiderweb leaving the inner part of the web open for the Trick or Treat greeting! I love that she embossed the sentiment and web in white, it looks so good with her beautifully inked background.

Marine created another fabulous design with lots of fun activity! The Sweet Spiders are busy building webs on her pink brick stenciled wall filled with cute images from Purrfectly Wicked!

It looks like the Sweet Spiders are catching lots of Sweet Spiders Add-On candy in their webs!

Jenn‘s simply fabulous Halloween cards feature Sweet Spiders with Spiderweb Backdrop on one and Giant Trick or Treat on the other! She used a great plaid pattern from the Falling Leaves paper collection with punny sentiments using Stitched Sentiments Banners, Everyday Sentiment Banners, and All the Speech Bubbles!

Latisha‘s pink Spiderweb Backdrop looks so cute with all the candy and cute spiders! This is definitely not a scary Halloween card! I love how she tied the new colors of Hemp Twine on the web, such a great idea!

Our new Sweet Spiders are playing nicely with all the insects from A Bug Deal! Grace created a garden-themed birthday card with the help of Lift the Flap Meadow and leaves from Lovely Lily of the Valley and the new Sunny Sunflower set. She filled the background with a muted color using Cloudy Stencils.

The cuteness of the card front is just the beginning of the fun of this amazing card! Grace added a Swivel Surprise to the inside, creating an even more delightful birthday card!

I love that Yainea created a shaker card using the Spiderweb Backdrop! It is so much fun filled with Chunky Glitter and sequins! She used Black Sparkle cardstock for her spiderweb and to add a drop shadow layer to the Giant Happy Halloween greeting! Those cute little Sweet Spiders are the perfect finishing touch!

EEK! Chari‘s card is so much fun! She combined Spiderweb Backdrop and Build-A-Cauldron with a cute Henry’s ABCs greeting! She used fun sprays to add more color, splatters, and dimension to her spiderweb and background paper. I love the spider adding candy corn to the cauldron full of candy concoctions!

Mindy‘s clever card is a great example of combining Halloween sets from different years! The Sweet Spiders look so cute with our Fangtastic Friends! And the Spiderweb Backdrop is a perfect place for them to hang out!

I love the clever way Tammy added a fun color to her Sweet Spiders card! She cut the Stitched Rectangle Frame from our new Candy Cane Lane Tinsel paper! The blue-violet color is a great complement to her orange-inked background!

Elise‘s simple design starts with layered Stitched Rounded Rectangle Stackables in the blue plaid Falling Leaves paper and Blue Jay cardstock. She then added a single spiderweb full of spiders and colorful candy from Sweet Spiders. The cute and punny sentiment is perfect on this “sweet” card!

The Purrfectly Wicked cat is right at home mixing up potions with the Sweet Spiders! Elena‘s brilliant design also features the Spiderweb Backdrop in the background! The white spiderweb really pops against that awesome blue background.

  1. I love using non traditional halloween colours to make more sweet scenes, but truly any scene with lawn fawn critters is a sweet scene. 💕 😊

  2. Yikes! I love the sweet holiday prank of dressing up. Spiders, not so much. Love the bats from Halloweens’ past. And wolves (werewolves would be nice). These spiders aren’t too scary…and they’re bald. Truly dislike the hairy ones. (Too real.)

  3. Such cute Halloween critters! I do like to make sweet Halloween card and most of the times I try to incorporate something funny in it. I think this set will make great use.

  4. Not a fan of spiders (the way they move, hu) but these ones are really cute and look so friendly. I’m more on the sweet side of Halloween.

  5. These are awesome! Love the Spiderweb Backdrop!
I like ALL the Halloween stuff…. both sweet and scary! But I do tend to go a little more for the sweet style for cardmaking!

  6. Oh I definitely love the sweet side of Halloween, give me all the pale oranges, pinks, and muted purples with the sweetest critters.

  7. A spiderweb backdrop?!? Eeek! I can’t decide between spooky or sweet because I like them both but I can say that one of my favorite things about fall/Halloween crafting is getting to use the glow in the dark products!

  8. I love cute and sweet Halloween crafts. Love scary, but not too scary. Your new spiders are not scary! Love the new web backdrop.

  9. I don’t make Halloween cards by I make a ton of treats and different types of packaging . Love both sweet and spooky!

    1. I’m not fan of spiders but the cards with green and the other pink background are very funny .
      Amazing cards for Halloween

  10. I like sweet scary – if that makes sense. Lawn Fawn Halloween products make the perfect sweet scary scenes!!!

  11. I love Halloween, especially sweet but also spooky. Spiders are my big phobia, but these sets are adorable!

  12. I don’t think I would mind if I received a sweet or scary Halloween card as long as it featured Lawn Fawn!!

  13. I love bo0th sweet and scary! I give away all my handmade cards to the kids (with candy!) and give the more scary ones to the older boys.

  14. I normally hate spiders but if all spiders looked as cute as these ones how could one hate spides!!
I love making cute Halloween cards!

  15. I like my Halloween to be sweet with just a dash of spooky, but maybe more whacky…Like The Munsters or The Addams Family.

  16. I definitely fall into the sweet side of Halloween crafts – spooky, grim, and horror are not my thing at all. Jack-o-lanterns, candy corn and Lawn Fawn bats and spiders are more my thing for sure! I see a Create With Us is scheduled for this set. Any chance there will be one scheduled for the book-themed sets?

  17. I will say Lawn Fawn spiders are the ONLY spiders I like! 🙂 I like sweet and spooky crafts, it depends on what mood I am in!

  18. I like sweet Halloween crafts. I love the lawn fawn spiders even thought I’m scared of spiders in real life.

  19. I love sweet AND scary Halloween crafts, it really depends on who I’m sending it to. This collection is so much fun, and with the right colours and accessories could be made sweet or scary. Love it!

  20. I would have to say sweet but cute silly scary works! Spiders on cards are ok… in the house or crawling near me… no way! Ha ha!

  21. These spiders and webs are so much fun!!! Halloween is my favorite holiday and I can’t get enough of these goodies. I prefer sweet to slightly scary decorations and items. Always fun to decorate the house and greet trick or treaters and dispense candy!

  22. I like sweet Halloween looks. If these spiders were in my house, I might just leave them rather than squish them 🙂

  23. I am a sweet Halloween or real (spiders, bats, owls, etc.). I also love to use nontraditional colors.

  24. I enjoy both sweet and scary halloween crafting. Maybe a bit spooky too. I love the spider webs. They’re so good for halloween cards and crafts.

  25. I like mostly scary because that seems more true to Halloween to me, but now that I have little grandsons I’m leaning towards sweet! I don’t they even know Halloween is supposed to be spooky or scary or have spiders! I love the web backdrop as an intro to all of it for them!!

  26. Oh the punny names on the treat containers!!! So funny! “Silky Way”, “Sour Patch Flies”!!! Just too cute! I am not a spooky kind of girl at all, so I must be team sweet for Halloween tricks and treats! Thanks for the punny start to my day! 😂

  27. I am normally more of a sweet Halloween person, and I am all excited for this year because I found disco ball spiders at Target! It will be a blingy Halloween this year!

  28. You can’t go wrong with cuteness, but I am a fan of horror and macabre things, and I have a favourite fake blood recipe for Halloween special occasions! Tip: add some cocoa because only red food colouring gives too bright a red, not realistically sanguine. 😛

  29. I like spooky cute Halloween. I also like a punny Halloween. The inspiration shown is so cute, every card is so good. I love these cute spiders and can’t wait to play with them.

  30. I love sweet Halloween crafts. Those spiders are adorable – normally I don’t mind spiders (they eat mosquitos so I like them for that) but these spiders I would actually keep around with their sweet smiles.

  31. I like a good combo of both! Halloween is my favorite and I love making cards and things for it year round. I feel like the different times of year lend to different crafty ideas. The closer to Halloween, definitely the more spooky my cards get.

  32. Hi Lawn Fawn.
I like to make cute Halloween cards using traditional Halloween symbols such as pumpkins 🎃, ghosts 👻, witches 🧙🏼, spiders 🕷️, spooky houses. Nothing on the scary side.
This is why I love Lawn Fawn. Halloween and Fall stamps are so cute!🎃♥️🎃

  33. I no longer do much for Halloween now that my children are grown and I closed my daycare. But in the past I always went towards the cutesy Halloween crafts since my daycare was for 1 to 4 year olds toddlers.

  34. Sweet Halloween for sure! I also just wanted to say thank you for drawing spiders with 8 legs… drives me nuts seeing spider images with only 6 legs! Haha!

  35. This set has to be one of my favorites so far. Those cute little spiders & all their yummy goody treats.💚💚💚

  36. I love these! I know 2 people I would definitely make birthday cards for right away. I have to say I like sweet Halloween crafts. I scare easily haha!

  37. I used to make all sweet Halloween cards, but as my grandchildren and nieces and nephews grew up I have switched to some scary ones. Sending sweet cards to a 15 year old teenaged boy was not working.

  38. For me it’s half and half. I like both sweet and scary Halloween. For the cards I like some sweet Halloween cards and some scary Halloween cards. I like going to horror mazes during Halloween, but I also like sweet treats at the end of the day

  39. Love love loving these cute spiders. It’s a bug I don’t generally enjoy finding in my home, but how can you not love these cuties! And the backdrop will be so fun with all of the Halloween sets already out there plus the new drops.

  40. Definitely scary! I love spiders (especially tarantulas) and bats and green (slime) and purple (bubbles). Cute critters in Halloween costumes are always fun.

  41. It has to be sweet Halloween projects for me- your spider stamp images are as close as I’m willing to get to anything “scary”! 😁

  42. I like both sweet and scary Halloween crafts! I think cute spiders are fine, but I am afraid of real spiders. I love bats and black cats for my Halloween decor and cards.

  43. Definitely prefer SWEET over scary!
And a very warm wish that everyone who is not feeling well has a full and speedy recovery!
    xoxo

  44. I like sweet Halloween crafts for myself. When I make treat bags for my daughter’s class, I make scary ones.

  45. I like both. I didn’t know spiders could be sweet but these spiders are adorable. Love this set. The examples are amazing.

  46. I love all things Halloween – it’s my favorite holiday to creat for so I enjoy both sweet and scary! Bring it all on!

  47. I love scary movies, but when it comes to Halloween crafts, I’m all about the sweet! Especially when it’s Lawn Fawn!

  48. I love that there are so many different ways to use the stamp sets together! The books become spells and the candy is just so adorable!

  49. I never liked Halloween until I started card making. Well of course I love candy, but that was about it. I’m into the whimsy side of Halloween, and I enjoy a version I saw on Pinterest, black, gray, white and different kind of pinks. I call it bubblegum Halloween. Lol

  50. I like to make cute, sweet and creative Halloween crafts, my kids on the other hand, they want scary and or gross!

  51. I like the sweet Halloween crafts, I’m not a big fan of horror but the pastel witch aesthetic I am all for!

  52. I definitely lean towards cutesy and sweet for my Halloween crafting. But I like to throw in a touch of spooky for my decorations.

  53. Leave it to Lawn Fawn to make spiders cute! This is an adorable looking release, and these cards are ALL fabulous! For me, Halloween is all about the sweet – no scaries for me, please… the world already has enough scary in it and I’ve no interest in adding to that! :0)

    Blessings,
    C

  54. Spiders in real life are not my favorite, but these SWEET spiders are adorable. I guess I’d have to go with sweet.

  55. I am NOT a fan of spiders, but trust Lawn Fawn to make spiders cute enough that I want their stamp set! Yay Lawn Fawn! Other than spiders, scary Halloween is fine, but spiders must be sweet and cute or they’re a hard no.

  56. I am known for being deathly afraid of spiders but man oh man these are soooooo stinking cute!! Definitely like more sweet Halloween cards:)

  57. I’m kind of in the middle. I love the spooky-ish decorations, but not like super scary. When it comes to crafts I’m more on the sweet side.

  58. As far as I’m concerned, any version of Halloween will find its place with me. I love the soft pink Halloween inspiration, but I also have a huge fondness for the traditional dark color scheme and the spookier side of Halloween.

  59. That’s a tough one but probably lean more towards the sweet crafts! Depends on the person I’m giving it to!!! Thanks for all the great ideas. We always have so much inspiration to draw from before the products are even available. Hope everyone is on the mend!!!!

  60. I like the scary Halloween 👻 🎃…the spookiness and all the customs….and giving candies away…it’s so much fun

  61. I like sweet Halloween cards and decorations. I just don’t like scary. My youngest child has a birthday on Halloween, so it is a happy holiday at our house
