Samantha’s Underwater Party in a Scalloped Box Card Pop-Up

Samantha created a happy underwater scene in a Scalloped Box Card Pop-Up! She filled it with lots of fun ocean sets included the new Simply Celebrate More Critters and How You Bean Seashell Add-On.

Samantha combined the new sets with Ocean Shell-fie, Mermaid for You and You Are Sublime to fill her scene! Then she added a twist with some bubbles from Bubbles of Joy! The cute octopus looks like he’s having lots of fun!

Samantha built the Scalloped Box Card Pop-Up using Textured Canvas cardstock in Teal and Brown and some Watercolor Wishes 6×6 paper. She added the happy sentiment from Scootin’ By on a banner from Flippin’ Awesome.

I love how Samantha added Ocean Friends Washi tape to the bottom edge of the box. It’s a clever way to tie in the theme, top to bottom!

Thank you so much for sharing your amazing design with us today, Samantha!

Lawn Fawn Video {4.6.23} Mindy’s Stenciled Balloon Card

We are happy to share a colorful new card by Mindy today! She stenciled balloons in a rainbow of color to create a beautiful card! You can watch the video below or click HERE to watch at our YouTube channel.

Thank you so much for watching!

Mindy started this lively design by stenciling clouds in background. Then, using beautiful Lawn Fawn ink (see the supply list for colors) she stenciled a row of colorful balloons. Next, she added color coordinated confetti before stenciling Fairy Dust Stencil Paste over the top.

This happy scene is so much fun with a cute elephant and the mice from Bubbles of Joy! I love how she place the mouse on the balloon, so cute! Such a great way to send “big hugs” from Big Scripty Words!

Thank you so much, Mindy! I absolutely love this card!

Sending Hugs and Smiles with Grace and Elephant Parade

Hello friends! Today we have a special project by Grace that I’m sure will inspire you! She used Shadow Box Card to create two modified box cards to decorate with our adorable Elephant Parade critters!

Grace’s unique design also uses the arched panel from Secret Garden Window in the background. She added hot foil shine with Cloud Background Hot Foil Plate. Then she inked the panels with pretty pastel ink colors. Check out the supply list for all the colors she chose.

To create the modified pop-up box, Grace started with Shadow Box Card. She cut the main box piece only once for each box and cut them in half lengthwise. *Tip: Grace cut them from 110 lb. white cardstock for stability, before covering the pieces with patterned paper and assembling the box as usual.* She also used the grassy insert from Shadow Box Card Park Add-On, inking the pieces with Celery Stick and Clover ink.

For the first card, she inked the arched piece with Sugar Cookie, Peach Fuzz, Ballet Slippers and Fresh Lavender. Then she colored the Elephant Parade and Elephant Parade Add-On images in soft tones. She heat embossed the sentiment from Offset Sayings: Everyday in gold on a pearlescent vellum Simple Wavy Banner.

For the second card, Grace swapped the Fresh Lavender ink for Wild Rose! She added images from Bubbles of Joy, coloring the bubbles in an amazing “translucent” rainbow! She also used the Big Scripty Words Hot Foil Plates to add “love ya” to the sentiment! And she used clear acetate to make the bubbles look like they are floating on the breeze.

Thank you for sharing this amazing design with us, Grace! I love these adorable cards so much!
