Jenn’s Beautiful Autumn Leaves Card & a Giant Sentiments Video with Chari!

Happy Wednesday! Today Jenn joins us with a beautiful Autumn themed card!

Jenn’s beautiful design features Happy Hugs and a sweet sentiment from Scripty Autumn Sentiments!

I love how Jenn coordinated the Copic coloring with the Distress ink stenciling! The colors are so rich and perfect for this season!

She used Fall Leaves Background Stencils to add the pretty pattern! She used Distress ink in Fossilized Amber, Mustard Seed, Scattered Straw, Ripe Persimmon, Spiced Marmalade, Festive Berries, Vintage Photo, Walnut Stain and Ground Espresso.

Jenn added a layer of Glossy Accents to the Scripty Autumn Sentiments leaves. It gives them a glassy shine and adds lots of interest to her simply lovely design!

Jenn’s Penguin Party online class is coming up on Saturday December 4, 2021! For this online class you will have the opportunity to make 3 unique cards with instruction by Jenn for Copic coloring and card assembly. She will share her tips and tricks for cardmaking success as well!

Lawn Fawn Video {9.7.21} Mindy’s Sunny Sunflower Design

The sunflowers from Our Friendship Grows are so pretty and are perfect for no-line coloring! Mindy stamped them with Jellyfish ink then she gave them sunny color with Copic markers!

She stenciled clouds and added some ink splatters before stamping the flower stems directly on the background. The popped up Grassy Border is the perfect place to add a white embossed sentiment from Happy Hugs!

Beautiful Giant Hugs with Mona!

Happy Friday friends! Today Mona joins us to share an amazing “hug in a card”! She combined Giant Sending Big Hugs and Happy Hugs to create a gorgeous and unique card design!

In order to create this unique design, Mona dry embossed Giant Sending Big Hugs on a white cardstock panel. To dry-emboss you will need a rubber embossing mat, it will allow the die to emboss the image without cutting the paper.

Now comes the oh-so clever part of this unique design! Mona used masking paper to cut a mask with Giant Sending Big Hugs. After she covered the embossed sentiment with the mask, she ink blended the background. Then she used the Scene Builder Stencils: Bayou and continued ink-blending. The final step was for Mona to remove the mask and color the sentiment!

I love how Mona used the cute critters in an embrace to fill in for the “hugs” in the Giant Sending Big Hugs greeting! To put together this sweet Autumn vignette, Mona combined critters from Happy Hugs with Scootin’ By! Then she added pumpkins and falling leaves from Happy Harvest, Jump for Joy and Let’s Go Nuts!
