Blog Hop to Support Ukraine

Today we are taking part in a blog hop to Support Ukraine with our friends from our wonderful industry.

More than half of Ukrainian children have been displaced since the war started about a month ago.

Save the Children has been operating in Ukraine since 2014, delivering essential humanitarian aid to children and their families. Your donation can help provide children and families impacted by the conflict in Ukraine with immediate aid, such as food, water, hygiene kits, psychosocial support, and cash assistance.

Lawn Fawn is donating 100% of the net profits from the items in the collection below to Save the Children.

Blue and yellow are the colors of the Ukrainian flag. Blue represents the wide blue skies, and the yellow represents the wheat fields that characterize the country. The sunflower (soniashnyk in Ukrainian) is Ukraine’s national flower, and it has been used as a symbol of peace throughout the country’s history.

Here is the list of our friends who are hopping together today; we hope you will hop to each blog with us!

The theme of this special blog hop is Sunflowers, the national flower of Ukraine and a symbol of peace and hope! I filled a Platform Pop-Up card with sunflowers from Our Friendship Grows.

The message of hope from Garden Before ‘n Afters is stamped on a sign from Open Me.

Lawn Fawn Video {9.7.21} Mindy’s Sunny Sunflower Design

Woohoo! Fall & Winter Inspiration and Release Week starts tomorrow! Join us right here for our Big Giveaway Post kicking off a week of Design Team inspiration, new product intro videos and daily giveaways! It all leads up to Release Day on the 16th! It will be so much fun, we can’t wait!

Today, Mindy joins us to share a beautiful sunflower design with sunny no-line coloring! You can watch the video tutorial below or click HERE to watch at our YouTube channel.

Thank you so much for watching!

The sunflowers from Our Friendship Grows are so pretty and are perfect for no-line coloring! Mindy stamped them with Jellyfish ink then she gave them sunny color with Copic markers!

She stenciled clouds and added some ink splatters before stamping the flower stems directly on the background. The popped up Grassy Border is the perfect place to add a white embossed sentiment from Happy Hugs!

I love this beautiful design, Mindy! Thank you so much for sharing with us today!

Mayra’s Amazing Adventure-Themed Room

We are so excited! Just two more days until we get to start sharing our new Summer Release! Inspiration and Release Week starts on Wednesday, June 16th with our Big Giveaway Post! We hope you will join us as we introduce our amazing new stamps, dies, stencils and a beautiful new paper collection!

We are so happy to have Mayra join us today! She created an absolutely adorable adventure-themed room with Virtual Friends, Virtual Friends Add-On and some unexpected sets as well!

The cute Screen Time kid is sitting in the Virtual Friends Add-On office chair enjoying a good book in this amazing adventure-themed room scene! Mayra’s creativity is certainly on display with all the perfectly chosen design details.

She started with the Virtual Friends desk with computer! She set it in front of the Outside In Stitched Square “wainscoting” and striped “wallpaper” and added the banner from Virtual Friends Add-On.

Mayra created fun wall decor using picture frames from Den Sweet Den. She filled them with a treasure map from Ahoy Matey and a vacation photo using Tiny Friends! The wall shelves (borrowed from Trim the Tree) hold a globe and books from Plan on It: School. And of course, she included the telescope from Super Star!

To assemble those clever potted plants, Mayra combined planter pots from Our Friendship Grows, stems from A Bug Deal and leaves from Critters in the Jungle! The final touches are a Wild for You screen-saver and a couple of furry friends from Say What? Pets!

I love this adorable scene, Mayra! Thanks for sharing your creativity with us!
