Samantha’s Sweet as Honey Card

It’s the last day to get this great free gift with purchase, You’re a Keeper! This cute beekeeping bear is only available until 11:59PM Pacific time tonight, May 26, while supplies last. Get your set today exclusively at lawnfawn.com.

Samantha‘s bee-utiful card mixes old and new with Hive Five, Honeycomb Backdrop and Honeycomb Stencil and our classic How You Bean? mason jar! The result is “sweet as honey”!

Samantha created a pretty honey jar cutting it from Watercolor Wishes paper, then stenciling the honeycomb with Mustard Seed Distress Oxide ink. Then she used Stripes ‘n Sprinkles paper behind the Honeycomb Backdrop before adding Hive Five bees and flowers from Spring Flowers Backdrop.

Then she added the final touches with the sentiment embossed in white on black cardstock and some Black Tie twine! So pretty!

Thanks so much for inspiring us today, Samantha! I love that honey jar!

(For a little sneak peek, check out this video!)

Kara has another creative design to inspire us today! This time she shows us how to alter an Easter image to use any day all year! You can watch the video tutorial below or click HERE to watch at our YouTube channel.

Thanks so much for watching!

I think Kara’s card design is cute as a button! And I love the pretty colors she chose too! She started her design with Simple Stripes: Portrait cut from Ballet Slippers, Guava and Sticky Note cardstock.

Then she stamped the single button from How You Bean Buttons Add-On several times with Jet Black ink. And then she added coordinating colors of ink using the solid button stamp.

Kara also added great detail to her sentiment by adding shading to the white embossed letters with Copic markers.

Kara altered the Eggstraordinary Easter image (see photo below) by cutting the bunnies away from the Easter egg. So now they can carry the How You Bean mason jar filled with buttons.

Check your stash for images of critters holding something to see if you can alter it to have them hold something else! Just one more way to get more out of your sets!

Thanks so much for sharing another brilliant card design, Kara!

Lawn Fawn Video {5.2.23} Marine’s Sweet Honey-themed Shaker Card

Marine is with us today to share another creative card design! This time she made an adorable shaker card with a honey jar theme! You can watch the video tutorial below or click HERE to watch at our YouTube channel.

Thanks so much for watching, I hope Marine’s video inspired you!

Oh, my goodness, how cute is this honey-loving bear? Marine used Woodland Critter Huggers and the Winter Add-On to create her bear. Then she added a confetti-filled shaker “honey jar” using How You Bean and the Shaker Add-On.

To create the stenciled background, she used Spring Blossoms Stencils, Grassy Stencil and Grassy Hillside Stencils.

Marine included lots of sweet details like the bees from Meadow Backdrop: Portrait and flowers from Spring Flowers Backdrop and Little Flowers. I love the drips of honey on the jar made with I Scream You Scream!

Thank you for sharing this delightful card with us, Marine! I love this cute bear so much!
