Lawn Fawn Video {3.15.22} Kara’s Galaxy Card Set

It’s time for another cardmaking technique video by Kara! Today she shows us how to make 5 amazing cards from one watercolor galaxy! You can watch the video below of click HERE to watch at our YouTube channel.

Kara created one large, galaxy universe on a sheet of watercolor paper. Then she divvied it up with very little waste to make this fantastic set of cards!

Our new set, Year Eleven, is the star of this mini slimline card! Kara also let the watercolor galaxy shine with just a bit of holographic cardstock to frame it! So simple and beautiful!

Another card featuring Year Eleven uses just a thin strip of the watercolor galaxy!

For this design, Kara made a frame for the smaller galaxy panel. Then she included the Super Star mouse and telescope! She even used up the last of the watercolor galaxy to cut out Henry’s ABCs to spell out planet!

This design features a combination of a star from Super Star and the bunny from Upon a Star. She silver-embossed the encouraging sentiment, also from Super Star.

For the last card, Kara used a galaxy panel as a backdrop for the cute images and sentiment from Beam Me Up! The silver-embossed greeting also includes Offset Sayings: Birthday.

Lawn Fawn Video {2.15.22} Caly’s Mini Slimline Dandy Day Card

Caly’s lovely card is so fresh and full of Spring vibes! Her happy scene fits perfectly on a Large Mini Slimline Stackables base! She inked up the background with Cloudy Stencil, and then she added Puffy Cloud Borders and Grassy Borders to frame the scene.

I love how Caly filled the card with the Dandy Day and Dandy Day Flip-Flop images, it’s just so cheerful! The addition of Prisma Glitter to the dandelion puffs creates so much sweet sparkle!

A Pair of Tropical Valentines with Mayra

Mayra is back with more fabulous cardmaking ideas! Today she shares two tropical, love themed cards using the same color palette!

For this sweet mini slimline card, Mayra paired RAWR and RAWR Flip-Flop! She created a tropical, pre-historic scene that is so cute! She combined palms from Tropical Backdrop with images from You Are Sublime to create a sweet dino habitat! This greeting is made with Oliver’s Stitched ABCs placed on a Lacy Heart. And then she added the sentiment to a Fancy Wavy Banner!

This beautiful design features Giant Sending Big Hugs framed with Tropical Leaves Backdrop! Mayra inked up the leaves and the beautiful background with Distress Oxide inks. To finish the card, she included a sentiment from Critters from the Past on a Fancy Wavy Banner!
