Jenn’s watercolor cards are so amazing! For this card she used Distress Watercolor Pencils to color all the die cut elements. She also added the pretty watercolor wash in the background with the pencils.

In addition to Lovely Lily of the Valley, she also included Scripty Hello and a sentiment from Henry’s Build-A-Sentiment: Spring!

Then Jenn added cute details with the tag and bow from Build-A-Drink: Mason Jar Add-On. And that sweet, stitched heart is found in the Watering Can Lawn Cuts set.

Thank you so much for sharing this beautiful inspiration with us, Jenn!

Grace combined both of our featured sets in a gorgeous garden themed design! It’s so perfect for “sending sunshine and smiles” with Henry’s Build-A-Sentiment: Spring! And she also included a cute flying garden friend from Meadow Backdrop: Landscape!

Elise chose to fill her Watering Can with pretty blooms and stems from Flower Garden Backdrop! She stamped the Mother’s Day greeting from Celebration Scripty Sentiments on a Rainbow Ever After background before adding her pretty flower arrangement.

Oh, wow, Latisha‘s thank you card is so beautiful! She chose bold cardstock colors that make her Lovely Lily of the Valley design so special!

Audrey created an Easter card that is just so stunning! She paired Lovely Lily of the Valley with Darling Daffodils with a greeting from Henry’s Build-A-Sentiment: Spring!

I love how Megan colored the die cut pieces of the Watering Can and Stitched Root Veggies, the colors are so soft and pretty! For the background of the slimline card, she combined Spiffy Speckles and Fruit Salad papers!

Marine is welcoming Spring with a design that is so full of cheerful color and lots of whimsy! She framed the Lovely Lily of the Valley flowers with a Stitched Scalloped Rectangle Frame, then she added the cute bees from Meadow Backdrop: Portrait!

Another gorgeous Mother’s Day card featuring Watering Can and Lovely Lily of the Valley! Melissa used colorful cardstock for all the die cuts before arranging them on a watercolor backdrop.

Send mom a Lovely Lily of the Valley card with lots of color and whimsy using Elena‘s gorgeous design! She also used Henry’s ABCs to spell out “mom” or swap the o for a u if you have a “mum”! I love the little birds Elena added to the flowers, they look so sweet!

The Veggie Happy mice are busy in the veggie garden while wishing you an “upbeet day”! I love how Tammy placed the Watering Can in the garden with the Stitched Root Veggies beets! So adorable!

The colors of Caly‘s Lovely Lily of the Valley flowers are so gorgeous, especially with the subtle color wash in the background! The lilies are so pretty and such a perfect way to send Mother’s Day love!

Grace paired Watering Can with Give It a Whirl to create a lovely slimline card! I love how she added cute garden friends from Gleeful Gardens and A Bug Deal! They look so adorable on the gardening tools in the Watering Can!

Flower Filled Altered Tote Bags with Grace

We invite you to join us for the Carrot ’bout You Create with Us Live class! It’s coming up this Friday March 8th, 2024, at 5:00PM PT / 8:00PM ET on YouTube Live! In this class hosted by Kelly and Jenn, you’ll create two adorable cards featuring the Carrot ’bout You stamp set. You can follow along — or just pop in to say hi. Click HERE for all the details, we hope to see you there!

Grace is back with another brilliant paper crafting project! She created box card Tote Bags for Spring occasions using Henry’s Build-A-Sentiment: Spring. She filled the altered Tote Bags with flowers including our new Lovely Lily of the Valley.

Grace created a larger Tote Bag by altering the Shadow Box Card as the base before adding the tote bag pieces to each side. See the directions below for the easy alterations. She used Rainbow Ever After in Rapunzel, Alice and Jack to match the pastel colors of the flower bouquets!

Then Grace personalized each box with a greeting from Henry’s Build-A-Sentiment: Spring! She white embossed the sentiment on a vellum Extra Sentiment Banner, then she layered it on a label from Platform Pop-Up Picket Fence Wrap Around.

Crafting the Flowers

Here’s a great breakdown of how Grace assembled each of the flowers. The ink colors named are Lawn Fawn inks that are in the supply list below. To make the daisy flower she combined Reveal Wheel Circle Add-On Frames: Flower and Sun with a stem and leaf from Darling Daffodils.

Creating the altered box

Grace altered the Shadow Box Card by cutting 1/2″ off the top of each piece. And she added the hillside inserts higher in box, more toward the middle. You will use the inserts for attaching the flowers. She also cut off the handle panel of the Tote Bag, then trimmed 1/8″ off each side. She finished the altered box by attaching the panels to front and back of the Shadow Box.

How pretty are these boxes filled with Spring flowers? They are so perfect for happy Spring celebrations! Or make up a bunch of them and decorate your home with flowers that won’t fade!

Thank you so much for sharing this beautiful and creative project, Grace!
