Lawn Fawn Video {4.29.21} Chari’s Colored Pencil Storybook Card

Today we have a fun slimline card designed by Chari! She shows us how to use colored pencils to give a soft storybook look to her images! You can watch the video tutorial below or click HERE to watch at our YouTube channel.

Chari created a sweet scene featuring some friends we all know and love! She stamped the images from Den Sweet Den, Hay There and So Owlsome, then colored them using colored pencils. She used scissors to fussy cut the images so they look like they are in the pages of a storybook!

The bright wash of colors in our Watercolor Wishes paper collection become a perfect background! She used 12×12 papers in Wishing Well blue for the sky and Four-Leaf Clover green for the grass and tree canopy. The tree is our Lift the Flap Tree Backdrop, trimmed down to just one tree.

I love all the sweet little details Chari added! The cute little bees from Bee Mine are perfect with the bee hive created with a Mini Easter Egg! And adding the leaves from Leafy Tree Backdrop: Portrait gives the tree top more character!

Chari included an encouraging quote from Winnie the Pooh on her design! She stamped it out using Harold’s ABCs which has a fun cartoon style!

First Saturday with Megan {6.6.20} A Slimline Teacher Thank You Card!

Our new little Fawnie is here!

We are so excited to announce the arrival of our little Fawnie, Miles Henry Alvarez-Toy! He is the sweetest boy, and we love him so much!

Megan used our new Slimline dies to create an amazing teacher thank you card to inspire us today! She included a fun sneak peek at a new product coming your way later this month!

Megan’s card features two cute Screen Time kids dreaming of the Village Heroes schoolhouse while finishing the school year at home! Megan combined a bunch sets with school themes to create this tall slimline thank you card, including You’re Just My Type, So Owlsome, Plan on It: School and Happy Village!

She used Distress Oxide inks and stencils to build the indoor and outdoor scenes! The thoughtful sentiment is from So Owlsome and Village Heroes!

Beautiful Back to School Note Card Gift Set with Ivy

Ivy joins us today to share her beautiful teacher gift idea for back to school! She used the lovely Fall Fling paper collection and some favorite die sets to make a thoughtful gift of 4 bar-sized note cards!

Ivy created her Gift Box from Narwhal cardstock and added coordinating papers from Fall Fling to decorate the box top. She used Stitched Scalloped Rectangle Frames and a cute Outside In Stitched Apple Stackable along with a sweet die cut message from the Gift Box set!

I love how Ivy framed these lovely note cards using the Just Stitching Double Rectangles! The apples look so pretty with the mix of Fall Fling papers and the cute owls and sentiment from So Owlsome finish this cute set of cards!
