Yainea joins us today to share a happy meadow scene card made entirely with die sets! Such a fun way to send a cheerful greeting!
Yainea built this adorable scene with Meadow Backdrop: Landscape! She used the tree stump, flowers and the cute butterfly; then she added the clouds and sweet little bee from the Meadow Backdrop: Portrait set!
Yainea die cut the pieces from white, Cilantro and black cardstock and added color with Copic markers and ink blending! The word die, from Outside In Stitched Speech Bubbles is die cut from Black Licorice cardstock so it pops against the colorful background!
Thank you so much for sharing this happy card design with us today, Yainea! It totally put a smile on my face!
Kara is with us today to share a birthday card with fun inky background and a custom sentiment! You can watch the video below or click HERE to watch at our YouTube channel.
The cool inky background is made with Distress Inks that are splashed, smooshed and splattered to give lots of depth and variation! Kara used Liquid Stardust to add lots of shimmer and sparkle too!
Thank you so much for sharing this clever and creative birthday card, Kara!

Today we have a video tutorial by our newest collaborator, Mindy! She shows how she used alcohol ink and Yupo paper to make gorgeous ocean backgrounds! Then she created two fabulous window cards using Porthole Frames and lots of fun ocean themed sets! You can watch the video below or click HERE to watch it at our YouTube channel.
Thanks so much for watching!
The alcohol ink backgrounds look amazing through the window created with Porthole Frames! I love the shiny gold from heat embossing the frames with our Gold Embossing Powder!
Mindy used the Xyron Create a Sticker tool to add adhesive to the entire back of the window panel so the adhesive won’t be visible through the acetate! Such a handy product! Then she used the small Sticker Maker to make it easy to attach the cute sea critters from You Are Sublime, So Jelly and Duh-nuh!
It’s easy to make 2 amazing cards with the same elements! Mindy made one portrait and one landscape and added different sentiments from Simply Sentiments!
Be sure to join us all week for more of our hop with Xyron! And don’t forget to visit the Xyron Facebook page to see their awesome projects! They are so fun and creative!
