Design Team Inspiration

The design team has made the most amazing samples! We also have two videos at the end. One showcasing lots of ways to use this new die set and a quick intro to All the Dots! Remember to click on the person’s name to see all of the details and leave these wonderful DT girls some comment love!

Kara‘s Zesty Lemon card is so gorgeous! She gave the lemons and leaves amazing color that makes them look so realistic! I love that she paired the lemons with blue Gotta Have Gingham paper, it’s such a fresh color combo! She also used Stitch Ripple Backdrop to add beautiful detail!

Melissa featured All the Dots paper on this beautiful, summery scrapbook layout! I love how she combined Blue Raspberry Fizz and Lemon Fizz colors while also using both sides of the papers!

Megan created a gorgeous design with the leaves and lemon slices of Zesty Lemon! It just makes me smile so much! Her sweet sentiment spelled out with Henry’s ABCs adds another lovely element!

Mindy‘s basket of lemons scene is so fun and playful! I love the addition of the mice and the punny Henry’s ABCs sentiment!

Grace created the most beautiful and fruity card set! She used Zesty Lemon to make a variety of citrus fruits. In addition to the lemons, she made limes, cutie tangerines and grapefruit. Then she gave each one a super fun and punny sentiment with Henry’s ABCs!

I love how Grace die cut Henry’s ABCs in the Outside In Stitched Scalloped Square, taking advantage of the negative space!

Elise created a pair of rainbow-colored cards using our new paper All the Dots! She used both the dotty and the striped sides to make a fun pattern behind the Giant Hooray greeting!

Tammy‘s beautiful slimline card makes me think of pink lemonade! The colors on the lemons and the background are so amazing! She also tied in the Henry’s ABCs letters by using the same pretty inking!

Latisha‘s awesome Zesty Lemon background gives her card so much elegance! She added a get-well sentiment, but this gorgeous card is perfect for any occasion!

Elena‘s delightful design reminds me of an old-style advertisement! She built it on a Sunrise Backdrop and then she added a cute, punny greeting!

Audrey featured Zesty Lemon with All the Dots Lemon Fizz paper to create a gorgeous thank you card! I love how the bright yellow lemons contrast with the black and white Giant Thank You! She layered everything on a fun black and white Itsy Bitsy Polka Dot Backdrop to create a card makes me smile so much!

Marine‘s beautiful card set is similar to Grace’s but with totally unique results! She used Flower Market paper with fun greetings using Henry’s ABCs! I love the bright and cheery colors!

For this fantastic scrapbook page, Melissa combined bright colors of All the Dots and Really Rainbow papers! The papers enhance the colors of her sweet photos!

Lynnette used Watercolor Wishes Rainbow paper as the background for this beautiful citrus-themed card! She used the lemon slice in all the citrusy colors to create a pretty pattern behind the lemons and sentiment!

Caly added gorgeous shading to the Zesty Lemon die cuts and then arranged them so beautifully! She used the stems to hang the lemons from the top and also to add leaves to those she layered on the bottom.

Yainea‘s design is so beautiful! I love how she shaded the lemons and added inky color to the background. She framed her composition with a Just Stitching Double Rectangle and then created the greeting with Scripty Wishes and Jessie’s ABCs!

The combination of Zesty Lemon and Gotta Have Gingham is a recipe for a lovely, homespun card design! Chari created her mini slimline birthday card with a sentiment from Happy Happy Happy!

Latisha‘s Zesty Lemon card features the citrusy colors of All the Dots so beautifully! I love how she added the tiny flowers to the centers of her lemon slices, it is so unique! She found the perfect summer sentiment in our Make Lemonade mini stamp set!

    2. It takes two to MANGO, You’re a PEACH, you’re GRAPE, you’re my favorite PERSIMMON, thanks a bunch (bananas), I love you CHERRY much,

  1. I love these! How about bananas? You split me up…Or another add on so that the tea party characters can have an ice cream social.

  2. These are so cute! I’d love to see raspberries/blackberries and apples. I would also love to see a pie themed die!!

    1. Adorable! You have my favorites with Strawberries and Lemons. Peaches would be a nice addition.

  3. Great projects! I was thinking pineapple, but someone else said avocado and now I cant get that out of my head!

  4. I absolutely love this die set! I can’t wait to use them with the strawberry dies!
I’d love to see a Watermelon die eventually but I love fruit so I’m sure I’ll love whatever is made.

    1. Thank you for the samples, it’s… Freshyliscious ! Would love to see some pear or tomatoes set!! Grape too.

  5. grapes – I like you “grape” big bunches; bananas, pineapple, raspberries, blackberries. All of these would be cute and fun 🙂 — do love what you’ve got-they are adorable!!

  6. Great cards. I would like to see an avocado and also be able to attach an avocado enamel pin to the inside for those who received the card. It would also be great to have fruit enamel pins that match the stamp sets.

  7. Peach, pear, banana? These are so cute, can’t wait because I have a lemon tree that has about a million lemons on it this year!

    1. Pineapple and pears would be great so would more succulents. I love the plants and fruit. I loving the stand alone dies so much Easier that stamping and die cutting. Love all the beautiful cards.

  8. I personally love bananas and there is already a tiny banana in the monkey set, so I guess I’m good.
The cards are adorable and I can’t wait to create my own zesty lemons!

  9. Any fruit would do, but a pineapple was the first thing that popped into my mind. Love the lemons!

  10. I would love to see grapes of kiwi added to the fruit collection! I love how his one die set can be used for so many kids of fruit! So fun!

  11. Maybe an exotic fruit, like a passion fruit, Dragon 🐉fruit, or acai berry or the lycee. Or that fruit that is fuzzy on the outside and when you open it up it is sweet and kinda sour on the inside!?!
Enjoyed seeing all the zesty cards! So cute!!!

  12. Loving all the cuteness with the lemons!!! Watermelon, Bananas or grapes would be cute especially with the adorable mice.

  13. Dragonfruit has a very interesting look, so that would be a cool fruit to add. But “all the berries”, with blackberry/raspberry, blueberries that go along with the strawberries that we just got, would be great. They could even work with the basket.

  14. Such fun puns created with the lemon! I would never think of those puns. I think any fruit can be fun. Maybe add watermelon, grapes, banana, any fruit can be fun.

  15. Blackberries would be a great addition!!!! I love them, and love to look at them. These fruit cards are just adorable. I especially love the lemons.

  16. So bright and happy – I can smell the juicy freshness from here! This is such a refreshing combo.

  17. Pineapple, peaches, bananas – fruit salad
    Fun release. thanks for sharing
    txmlhl(at)yahoo(dot)com

  18. Awesome release! Looking forward to the polka dot paper! I use the gotta have gingham all the time .. It’ll be nice to change it up some. Lol. Would love to see grapes… They can be used both fresh and fun or vintage and elegant.

  19. i love lawn fawn and think you always create wonderful new additions. My brain is mush today without any ideas.

  20. Ooooo!!! Love lemons!!! They can mean so many different things. And I love pineapples, because they feel so tropical. Hmmm. Maybe a set of stamps and dies for critter cocktails? Piña coladas, martinis, margaritas, bloody marys? Oooo. And sangria!!! (It could double as a hot mulled cider in another part of the year.)

  21. All the design team’s creations made me smile so wide this time, amazing how die-cut citrus fruits can make a card pop in such simple but stunning ways!
I’d love to see some clustered berries, maybe cherries or grapes or blackberries?

  22. I love crafting with fruit, so many colorful options! I suggest watermelon- perfect for summer.

  23. I will just have to have the lemon dies!!!!

Any tropical fruit. Mango would be fun because of the green and blush and then amazing orange inside.

  24. I would like good old boring Apple’s! They so fully represent Fall to me I think they would be great.

  25. I would love add-on sets for the interactive dies so I can cut all of the pieces with once pass. For example, extra pieces for the Pop-Up Platform, Scalloped Box Card, Flippin Awesome, Magic Iris and Shutter Card dies. I would love to be able to cut all the pieces I need at once rather than several passes. I would love to see other shapes for the Flipping Awesome die too. I would also love to see a Giant Happy Holidays and a Giant Seasons Greetings. I would also love to see a dog die set….like the fox…but maybe with some accessories. More Mini tag shapes. I love them…
Thank you for the chance to win. Good Luck everyone.

  26. I think watermelons would make some nice summertime cards. Lots of great new products love the paper

  27. Love the paper collection. Avocado would be a great addition. The dark textured skin stands out from the soft green of the flesh and the large pit. 🤗

  28. Berries ! raspberry/blackberry/mullberry ; blueberry/gooseberry ; blackcurrant/redcurrant

    or passion fruit / grenade

  29. Love how versatile these dies are. I’d love to see a large bunch of grapes with some smaller single ones as well.

  30. SOOOOOO cute!!! These are all so great! I’d love to see a pineapple and maybe 2 cherries connected by stems!

  31. Thanks for showing all the ideas on how to use this cute die. For the next die set raspberries/blackberry on the plant. Would go nicely with your berry special set. Also watermelon, peaches, and pineapple are good to. Blueberry on the brush or grapes on the wine so the animals could pick those too like bears, birds, turkeys or deer. They are always getting into ours.

  32. I cannot wait to get my hands on these lemons but I’d love to see some other berries join the fruit die family/ maybe a blackberry/raspberry/blueberry combo

  33. These lemons are to die for!!!!!
I would love to see Banana’s (Am I the only one who has to sing Hollaback Girl by Gwen Stefani to spell Bananas) or some Watermelon!!

  34. Such great inspiration – loving the fruit! I love all fruit, so it would be great to have raspberries, peaches/nectarines, pineapple, grapes. Oh so many possibilities.

  35. I’d love blueberries, a raspberry/blackberry set. I know they’re not berriea, but cherries are my favorite. Apples for the fall, different shapes. Watermelon. Pineapple.

These lemon/limes are so fun. I’m gonna need a raise.

  36. I never thought I needed lemon dies until now. These examples are lovely and I love how they’re mixed with critters too!

A pineapple die would be cool, and watermelon slices too. A coconut that can have a straw and cocktail accessories added would be incredible too!!!

  37. A berry. I would love a japanese rasperry but would love to see it before it opens and then when it is open. It is so funny looking. The berry is absolutely yummy but very small.

  38. I love that Lawn Fawn came out with polka dot paper!!! I would like to see grapes or watermelon dies.

  39. I’m loving all the inspiration from the designers with these great sets! It would be nice to see banana and/or different kinds of melons die sets. Thank you for the chance to win!!

  40. Well, the obvious next fruit for the next season would be apples, of course! Being from Washington state, I’m a little partial to the idea of adding apples to our collection and being that it’s fall that’s next, seems perfect!

Grapes would also be a fun addition to our fruity collection. . .

  41. I would love to see cherries! Just think of the possibilities of having both single and double cherries!

  42. OMG! This Zesty Lemon set goes straight to the top of my birthday wish list …
Blueberries, cherries, gooseberries, grapes, melons, pineapples, raspberries, rhubarb.

  43. I love these lemons/citrus fruits! And any fruit would be so cute when created with Lawn Fawn dies!

  44. I love the new Zesty Lemon Dies! I can’t wait to get my hands on these! Blueberries and Raspberries would be nice to go with the strawberry dies we have!

  45. Super excited to see the lemon and other citrus possibilities. Other fruits I would love to see are mangoes, papaya, pineapples, bananas, cherries, watermelon, kiwi, grape cluster and raspberries.

  46. How about bananas and apples for dies? I know bananas are part of other stamps – like critters in the jungle and the smoothie set.

  47. I love all the fruits! Cherries, blackberries, apples would make a good addition to your dies.

  48. Love the pineapple idea so many have suggested. I think there are some watermelons already, but would love to see some more as you always do fun things with the ideas?

  49. Cherry’s, coconuts, and all kinds of berry’s would be nice.
    Love this set ❤️

  50. I think blueberries would be cute (like boo-berry for Halloween)? Also, I live in cherry tree country-so cherries would be good 🙂

  51. I am in love with those lemons! Can’t wait to make some “sour” cards with them, here in Germany we have a saying “sour makes silly”, most likely coming from the silly face you make when eating something sour. So I am looking forward to create my own die cut text to go with the lemons.

I’d love some peaches, I don’t think there are any out there. Also cherries would be great and fit into the fruit/strawberry basket perfectly.

  52. Cute! These would be so cute on summer lemonade cards. I’d love to see a watermelon die set with a whole watermelon, a slice with the different colored sections and of course the seeds 😊

  53. I would like to see kiwi, star fruit, and prickly pear in the collection. I like these citrus, they make cute cards!

  54. Love the new dots paper!
So many great fruit suggestions already! Any new fruit dies would be good. 🍍🍉🍌

  55. OMG, my favorite is lemons. This is great. I love lemon water, it’s so refreshing.
Hmmm, strawberries and lemons are my favorite and you guys already knocked it out of the park with those two! Maybe avocados?

  56. I’d love to see more background layers and interactive cards or more add ons to the interactive cards we already have

  57. Definitely a fruit that would have punny sayings abilities dragonfruit with a new dragon character to accompany it.

  58. I love Lawn Fawn paper and have quite a collection. All the Dots lives up to my expectations for a LF paper.

  59. I love today’s post. I would never have thought to want this die. I could not come up with a good enough idea to create a card with it. However, all the cards displayed on today’s blog have inspired me, and make me want the lemon die as well as to buy the orange die, too. The cards show great talent, and are so summery as well. I love Lawn Fawn & the creative team’s ideas!

  60. I think some other berries to go in that fruit basket, blueberry, raspberry and black berry to start.

  61. I don’t even like lemons yet I lOVE these projects! The lemon items are so very cute I might need to reconsider my dislike of lemons!

  62. Very refreshing dies (specially as we have a very early eat wave in Europe with temperatures over 85° F where I live – we should have something around 75° ).

My favorite fruit is the banana,

  63. I love the citrus , so bight an cheery to color and makes a nice card.
Citrus are very summer, I was going to say watermelon but summer is already here.
Cherries would be a nice stamp too!

  64. I am a raspberry fan and I do not think I have ever seen a raspberry stamp or die- but what do I know? Hehe – Love love those lemon creations so I had to make some lemonade!

  65. Wow!!! Love the Zesty Lemon card samples! Great job by the Design Team as always! That set is going on my wish list!

  66. Peaches are a good suggestion, maybe a blueberry add on with the berry sentiments. It would be nice to see apples in a smaller versio

  67. Banana! I’m bananas over you, I’m going bananas without you, love you a whole bunch, you’re really aPEELing to me – the puns are endless!

  68. The first thought that popped into my mind was apples – fall/school/apple of my eye. I see a lot of suggestions for blueberries and bananas and think those could be fun too.

  69. I would love to see pineapple added or kiwis! Anything tropical, or even more berries like blueberries and raspberries!

  70. I’m in love with that lemon die set…such fun summery cards today. I would like to see some exotic tropical fruits like mangos, dragonfruit and lychees as a die.

  71. I love all the large fruits! My favorite is still the strawberries from last release. For a future one I’d say watermelon!!!

  72. I love the versatility of the citrus fruits. A slice of watermelon would be cute too. I also love the dots paper.

  73. When I first saw this I thought “finally! No temptation.” But thanks to all the design team cards, now I want this one too! Love the paper!

  74. I would love to see apples added to the mix! Perfect for teachers and also because my family loves going apple picking in the fall. 🍎🍏🍎

  75. Grapes! I haven’t seen anyone made grape’s die! You can make grapes CUTE, too, as usual 😉 btw, you released Strawberries, my most fav. and now, lemon. They will all look great in the basket die I purchased from you guys from last release, like even wrapping in a plastic for “care” package for “get well soon” card! <3

  76. Peaches please. We have a granddaughter nicknamed peachy peach, so I would use it all the time!

  77. the fruit dies are amazing & the work from the design team is a WOW!!!
Being a Maine girl I would love to see bananas… which would then also give you reason to make some cute lil monkeys to go with them. And the word “aPEELing” would be fun to play upon!

  78. I’d love peaches/plums and/or tomatoes. These lemons are awesome and so versatile! I also am in love with the new paper collection. 🥰

  79. Omg these Lemons are my favorite by far. I cant wait to get my hands on these. The cards are the best.

  80. Oh gosh! How do you pick just one?! Pineapple, peach, a mixed berry set. I would love to see the peach though! 🍑

  81. I love the lemons!! I think a watermelon would be super cute! I can see the litt mice using the watermelon like a see saw!

  82. Wow, I just LOVE this new paper pack and cannot wait to add it to my (ever-growing) collection.
With the lemons, I honestly didn’t think I would like them but I am SO happy to be proven wrong. They are so cute and I could totally see myself using them (and my strawberries) to create something amazing.
It would be cute to see some cherries, pineapple, watermelon, pears and/or mangos next.

  83. Think this is my favourite give-away behind the rainbow paper! 🌈
I would love to see kiwifruit or a cute little collection of monkeys and bananas!! 🍌

  84. Love all the different fruit and plants that are coming out. Would be great to have some bananas, raspberries, pears, apples, but need to be mindful of proportion so they all look right if used together 😊👍

  85. I’d love to see a melon or a set of melons. There are a lot of puns that can be made from “million” — for example, Thanks a melon! or Sending you a “melon” good wishes for a happy birthday! etc. Thanks for these terrific videos!!
    Lori S in PA

  86. I love citrus!!! But I also love peaches… “ I a- peach-ciate you” or “peach for the stars!” Or “You’ve got a peach of my heart”

  87. The lemons look sooooo realistic when ink blended – wow!!! I think watermelons would be a cool next fruit to have a die cut of!

  88. I’m thinking cherries and bananas would be lots of fun … I can just see those little mice hanging on a cherry stem!

  89. Si in love with all those lemons en lime..
can’t think of another die..there is already SO much to choose from..more than I can afford……would love to have it all!

  90. I love this set… ALMOST makes me wish I would have married that guy in high school I was dating… his last name was Lemons! LOL

  91. Oh my goodness Grace’s punny cards are so lovely. They look so pretty and the puns are great.😄

  92. So adorable 🍋 I think this is my favorite new release thus far! Strawberries & lemons are my fav but, if I had to choose another watermelon 🍉 would be super cute. Plus it’s my sons fav! Peaches 🍑 would be fun too!

  93. I love all kinds of berries. I would love to see cherries or melons (honeydew, cantaloupe and watermelon)-lots of puns with those!

  94. Watermelon would be nice. What about some big cookies or peppermints for the basket at Christmas time.

  95. I would love to have watermelon, grape, banana, pineapple, and dragonfruit. There are so much more that I love to have.

  96. Blueberries because I love blue cards and to eat blueberries. They make me happy.
Starfruit would be interesting because it is an interesting shaped fruit, just like a star inside. And you can use stars on the cards. Never too many star cards

  97. I LOVE lemons! They are so sunny and cheerful and I love lemons and lemon-flavored things! Which fruit to add? Hmmm… I like grapes… they’d lend themselves to all kinds of ‘bunches’ sentiments. Thanks for the chance to win!

  98. Oops my previous comment was added as a reply.

So here’s another try: Starfruit die would be awesome! Unique and versatile.

  99. The Lime card is incredible. Wow! I love all fruit, and like what you have. But, what about Passion Fruit or Dragon Fruit? Those fruits are beautiful. I know whatever you create, I will love!

But seriously- I’d love to see something unusual… like a dragonfruit!

Hmmm, lots of fruit to work with.. watermelons, apples or pumpkins fur the fall would be nice.

  102. I love fruit of every type and would love to see a set with a variety of fruits to make a fruit salad..yum!

  103. Honestly, not sure…. there are a lot of wonderful fruit. Cherries are my favorite, but melons, kiwi, pears, peaches, plums, and on and on…. they are all great!

  104. We need a big juicy pineapple and a banana, sigle and bunches! A bunch of grapes would be nice too!

  105. These fruit themed cards look so fresh and yummy for summer. I would love to see bananas or kiwis…or both!

  106. I absolutely love everyone’s projects with the lemons! They’re so pretty! I’d love to see some grapes added to the fruit collection.

  107. OMG! Those fruity cards were super adorable! I love the lemons, oranges, grapefruits, and limes. Any other fruits would be an awesome addition… maybe more tropical fruits, like a pineapple?

  108. I love all the DT cards, so many ideas. I’d like to see watermelons and peaches added to the fruit collection.

  109. I love all the different citrus the design team have come up with! Dragonfruit would make a cool die set.

  110. Watermelon was the first thing that came to mind. However, there are so many amazing ideas in the comments I don’t think you could go wrong with any of them.

  111. Apples would be cute, that’s our state fruit. An avocado with a face like the Smore die would be super cute!!

  112. Hello, such a cute set! 1st fruit that comes to mind would be like raspberries or blackberries, maybe a banana or a watermelon.

  113. Oh I would love a watermelon or pineapple. There are so many great sayings that could go with either one.

  114. I’d love to see raspberries since I have a garden of them and that would be cute to include a little card with some when I give them away 😀 I’d also love cherries just cause I love cherries! oh and blueberries! lol clearly anything Lawn Fawn is perfect!

  115. So impressed with the creativity of such a cute die. Just when I think you all have thought of everything you come up with more cute ideas. More fruit maybe grapes or bananas, they could double for Valentines of Birthday greetings.

  116. i can’t keep track of what you’ve already put out let alone suggest what’s missing. LOL! this made me think about key lime pie though. mmm…..

  117. Love this set! There are so many fruits I would say, but I would say watermelon or cherries if I need to narrow it down

  118. These are the best! Loving all the DT designs too. So many awesome ideas for the new products. Love it!
The fruit I’d like to see added to the die collection is tomatoes (Tomatoes are fruits although many mistake them as vegetables like I did for many years lol). Or I would love to see Kiwi fruit added 🙂

  119. Always so inspiring…..would love to know what cardstock Yainea used for the “wishes” sentiment on her card
