Megan‘s delightful card is truly filled with rainbows and sunshine! She used Really Rainbow paper in the background before adding the hot foiled sentiment on top! The bright yellow Stitched Circle and orange Scalloped Circle are just the perfect sunny addition!

Mindy‘s Kanga-rrfic Mother’s Day card is so sweet! I love that she used the Cloud Background: Landscape Hot Foil in the background. The ink blended over the top is so lovely, as it fades into the Stitched Mountain Border!

Marine shows us that is so fun to add Foiled Sentiments: Sending Rainbows to a Give It a Whirl card! Her Beary Rainy Day design is so bright and sunny!

I love how Marine used rainbow foil for this happy sentiment!

The foiled sentiment is replaced with a cute Here for You Bear scene when you give the tab a whirl! So fun!

Elise‘s magical design starts with a beautifully stenciled cloudy background. Then she added the Foiled Sentiments: Sending Rainbows in shiny gold before including more magic with the cute unicorns!

Grace added the Cloud Background: Landscape Hot Foil Plate on a panel of Rainbow Ever After paper to give a soft look. Then she created a magical design with Giant Sending Love with the My Rainbow unicorn! So lovely!

Audrey‘s card is so stunning! It combines both of our featured hot foil sets with a dramatic black, white and rainbow design! I love how she added color to the foiled sentiment, it looks so cool! The rainbow and sun from All the Clouds add a cute whimsical look as does the Puffy Cloud Border along the bottom edge.

Caly‘s unicorn themed Give It a Whirl is so cute as it changes from a scene to Foiled Sentiments: Sending Rainbows! She also combined Unicorn Picnic and My Rainbow to fill the card. It’s so cool how she stenciled the clouds in the background on Rainbow Ever After patterned paper. It looks so pretty and clever!

  1. No I don’t add hot foiling elements to my cards, but it’s always so fun to watch other people hot foil. 😊

  2. I love the look the hot foil adds to the cards! I haven’t tried it yet, but I’m anxious to learn more about it!

  3. I do, and it’s all your fault! I resisted buying a Glimmer until Lawn Fawn came out wit foil plates, and then I had to have one, lol!

  4. I do not hot foil yet, I am more of a stamper/copic colorer – that’s the therapeutic part of art for me!!

  5. I think it is absolutely beautiful, but I do not have the machine. I have decided not to get the machine and focus more on my favorite lawn fawn stamps.

  6. I do hot foil on my cards, not all of them, but the ones that I do, it just adds that extra little touch! Love it!

  7. I’ve bought some hot foil supplies but haven’t gotten around to try it yet. Hopefully will be able to during Spring Break!

  8. I love adding hot foil to my cards! Especially excited to use the landscape clouds since I wrote in suggesting it! 🥰

  9. I do not have a hot foil machine. I think foiling adds a pretty feature to cards, but I don’t have any plans to purchase one.

  10. I do sometimes…I have about 10 hot foil plates all together and I love love love how they turn out 🤩

  11. I’ve experimented with toner foiling, but not hot foiling. I love the look of it, though, and am thinking of investing in the tools.

  12. I am still trying to get the hang of hot foiling. I made some beautiful Christmas cards last year with the Merry Christmas hot foil plate on a scalloped circle on top of a Winter Sprigs stenciled background. And I’ve created a heap of Scripty Winter Sentiments with the hot foil plates. The more I do hot foiling, the more confident I get with it.

  13. I don’t have a foil machine yet, but I do have a Cricuit I try to do it with (just for sentiments). It’s not the same though. 🙁

  14. Not as much as I’d like. I don’t have a hot foil plate and I am on the fence about getting one so I use a laminator. I would love to see more carrier sheet designs done!

  15. I have a hot foil machine but don’t use it that much. Hoping to get to use it more as I get my craft room more organized.

  16. I haven’t added hot foil to my cards but seeing that new hot foil die has inspired me to get my machine out!

  17. I have a hot foil plate but haven’t used it yet.
Maybe this release will get me started.
    Great release. thanks for sharing

  18. Yes, my friend has the hot foil tools, and she kindly brings her tools over when we scrapbook or make cards together.

  19. I love the sparkle and shine that hot foiling brings to a project. It always makes me smile. I ♥ Chari’s idea of using multiple colours of foil on one plate. Will definitely try that.

  20. I am still figuring out hot foiling. I have used the laminator style on my cards before and I think that is really pretty

  21. I want to get into hot foiling. I tried it early on but did not get great results so it put me off but I really want to try again with all the new tips and tricks

  22. Have not jumped on the hot foiling train (and likely won’t). No space (and funds) for extra equipment and supplies. But, i do love the look of it.

  23. I don’t have a hot foil machine but it looks cool. I remember my mom making hot foul T-shirt transfers in the early 90s.

  24. I love the look of hot foil, but I have not used it. I’m really on the fence about whether or not the tool to do it is worth the money.

  25. I wish I could add hot foil elements to my cards but have no machine yet to enable this so am passing for now. The shine is really a nice touch which can add a touch of elegance, sophistication or just plain whimsy to the card.

  26. Once in awhile I do had a hot foil element to my cards. A hot foil element will add that sometime needed shine to complete a card. I like having that choice to add foiling to my cards.

  27. I have used hot foiling on my cards. I should do it more often. I like the extra special effect it gives

  28. Alas, no. I only admire hot foil images. It requires more equipment than I am willing to have my hubs shake a finger at. He thinks nothing of spending money on his hobbies, but questions my LF purchases.

  29. I love hot foiling. It is so much fun to do and so simple, but looks amazing on a card or project. I really need that cloud background—obsessed.

  30. I love the look of hot foil but haven’t dived in quite yet… but every time I see more hot foiled things I come closer to caving hahaha!

  31. My friend has a glimmer and I have used hers. I’m in LOVE with the 2 different colors of foil and also the outlined with markers foil ideas!

  32. I have a few hot foil items, but I don’t use them frequently. The rainbow set makes me want to add foil to everything!

  33. I have not gotten into the hot foiling technique yet. At first it looked to difficult but after seeing how easy it actually is, I have wanted to buy some products and use them!

  34. I have a Glimmer and it’s still in its box. I have boxes of foil (at least 12) that are untouched. I feel like I need time to experiment and I never, ever have the time. Teaching is a full-time-plus profession. Maybe one of these days…..

Your video was helpful, Chari! I love all the cards that were shared above!

  35. I just recently got the hot foiling system, so I need to purchase some plates to try it out. I’ve always loved the foiling look.

  36. I have not added hot foil elements to my cards yet. I have the tools, but haven’t made the time to learn the ins and outs of using the tools to make beautiful cards.

  37. I have decided not to jump on the hot foil bandwagon! I like the look of it but not enough to buy “all the time things”! My Cricut machine can do a foil technique that is enough for me so I will continue to use that.

  38. I have never tried hot foil elements. I need to play catch-up with my existing elements before I add new ones I think; but it is hard for me to say no to new sometimes!!

  39. I love the look of the hot foiling but I decided not to invest in it. It’s so expensive and there seems to be mixed reactions to the success of using hot foiling so right now I’m satisfied using the laminator foiling system.

  40. I have not tried hot foil yet. Honestly I don’t have room for another machine in my craft area. And besides I will always need more room for your amazing stamps and dies 😍!

  41. I don’t own a lot of hot foil plates but I do enjoy using the ones I have. I really need to hit the lottery so I can buy ALL the things!

  42. I have a hot foiling machine that has stopped working. I like the look,
but I’m not about purchasing another system.

  43. No but I bought your papers which had the similar effect on the background, the tiny dots. I’m thinking about adding hot foil to my card making near future, though.

  44. I just got myself a Spellbinders Glimmer machine and am ready to foil all the things! Sentiments are where I want to start, because they add such a nice touch to cards. Thanks for the chance to win!

  45. I love the look of foil elements and have all the things, but I don’t always take the time to add them. Thanks for another awesome inspiration week.

  46. I have not ventured into hot foiling yet, but it is truly beautiful. I especially love the Rainbow word with foil.

  47. I got a lot foil machine a year ago and use it for sentiments and backgrounds. I love the new hot foil rainbow message

  48. I don’t add hot foil elements, but do like to see them. I do add toner based foils to my projects.

  49. Not yet but I’m about to buy the hit press machine just for the sending rainbows and smiles. I live it

  50. I have a hot foil machine but don’t use it much. I have trouble getting a good imagine, love the look when it works. I get frustrated and shy away from using it

  51. I occasionally add hot foil to my projects but if I’m honest I’d rather just emboss, heating the machine up and hoping it doesn’t over foil can be stressful, plus the plates are another expense.
