Hello!! Today I have another Torendi “Bright” card, and it is bright! 🙂 I was inspired by the Etsy Inspired Challenge and, of course, the fabulous Torendi “Bright” kit. The store at Etsy Inspired is Skylar’s Candy Clips:

How cute are these? I was inspired by the bright colors in the first photo and by the letters and scallops in the second photo!
Don’t you just love that American Crafts patterned paper? It is so fun! I used the backside of the paper for the scallops. I punched 16 circles and stamped them with text. I then put adhesive all around the back edges of the argyle looking paper and adhered the circles to the back. By doing this I created this faux giant scalloped square. So fun! I stamped the orange paper with text so it would be like “texting” like the LOL, like you know? (That was all said while chewing gum and twirling my hair.) Haha! Kelly = dork. 🙂
The ribbon in this kit is so pretty in real life! And because it is so pretty, I didn’t want to waste it, but still wanted this look. So all I did was adhere little strips with some sticky strip instead of tying it all all around. No one will ever know, and I get to keep more of my precious ribbon! 🙂
