Lovely Lea

Hello! Today we have the wonderful Lea‘s survey! I hope you are enjoying getting to know these amazing women on the Lawn Fawn Design Team! Now take it away, Lea!

1. When did you first start crafting?
My Aunt Amy gave me a scrapbooking kit for my high school graduation, and that summer I scrapbooked everything I did.  That was my formal introduction!

2. What is your favorite type of card to make?
I am an equal opportunity card maker…I love making them for every occasion. Even Sympathy cards…everyone deserves something beautiful when they are sad.

3. What is your favorite and/or go-to color combo?
Hmmm…this is a question I don’t take lightly.  I LOVE color.  LOVE it. There isn’t a color that I don’t really love in some way, so I can’t give you a color combo.  BUT, I can give you a genre.  I have multiple cards in the latest Color Inspiration issue from Paper Crafts, and they are all in the “Bright & Bold” or “Jewel Tone” sections.

4. What technique have you been loving lately?
I am not really a technique inspired card maker, but I do love to glitter. That is about as technique-y as I get! 🙂

5. What is your New Year’s resolution?
I don’t have one.  But, I would like to be healthier in 2011.

6. What is your favorite movie or book?
Romeo + Juliet.  Both the play and the movie (the newer one).

8. What is your favorite food?
Authentic Mexican food.

9. Where were you born?
Missoula, MT

10. Where is a place you would love to visit?
I recently went to Kenya, Africa…and that was one on my list.  I would also LOVE to visit Australia…hopefully one day!

11. What did you want to be when you were little?
Ugh- a professional cheerleader.  And then I grew up and realized that they aren’t real cheerleaders.

12. If you won the lottery, what would you do?
Give a lot of it away to Christian organizations that mean a lot to me.  Pay off my brother’s college education.  Buy my parent’s a house of their dreams, and pay off my inlaw’s dream home.  Build our own dream home.  And invest it wisely so we could live off the interest, and travel around the world doing mission work, photographing, and just enjoying life completely.

13. What is your favorite quote?
“Happy are those who dream dreams and are ready to pay the price to make them come true.” ~Joseph Cardinal Suenens

Make sure to come by tomorrow to see some fabulous cards by Lea!

  1. I would love to go Australia also. And the lottery … I would help my mother/father-in-law, my son, and make sure a 3rd party trust is established for my daughter's care.

It was great hearing your answers!
