Be Merry
Julie‘s card is just so sweet and whimsical. I just adore her vintage-whimsy style! She created her reindeer with Critters in the Snow and her sentiment is from Pa-Rum-Pa-Pum-Pum. I love the way the reindeer look like they are going to fly off the card. So fun!
LF_Frosties_coolfriend_teri
Teri‘s project is too cute! She used Frosties and Making Frosty Friends. How fun are those buttons?! To create her snowy flakes she heat embossed them in white and then smudged some white ink with her fingers in the center. It really makes them look frosty!

Nichol‘s card using Ornate Ornaments and Cozy Christmas is absolutely gorgeous! All of that texture and glitter is just perfect for the holidays! Absolutely stunning!

Lynnette‘s card just makes me smile! She created her scene with Critters in the Forest and Frosties. The deer from Critters in the Snow looks amazing with Winter Bunny‘s scarf! Bows and Holly provides a great sentiment for this whimsical winter scene!
FrostiesTrees_01
Chari made these amazing trees and cute scene using Frosties, Critters in the Forest, Critters in the Snow, Hats Off to You, Fly Free and Making Frosty Friends. Check out the video below or at her You Tube channel to see how Chari made these trees! I know I cannot wait to make these!

Thank you so much for watching!
Make sure you click on each of the design team’s names or pictures to go to their blogs and see the details of how they made their cards. You will walk away inspired for sure!

I hope you have enjoyed this fun look back at Ornate Ornaments, Critters in the Snow and Frosties!

  6. Great tutorial, Chari!!! I do need to make these for my mom's house this Christmas 🙂
No snow here but I remember the 1st time I saw snow was while I was presenting at a conference in Chicago. As soon as I started talking, everybody was looking at the window to see the snow, lol. I had to pause and do the same! haha.
    Thanks for the inspiration 🙂

  7. same here! it doesn't snow in Singapore but it has been raining very often. The only way to share this winter experience is to do more "snowy" cards. haha!

  9. Oh, wauw, these are sooo pretty!!! Makes me long for snow! But it hasn't started here yet, though they predict we will have a long and cold winter here in the Netherlands, it's starting slow for now. Slowly cooling down, but no snow yet! We did last year, we had snow in early november, but for me, it can wait a bit, hi hi.
    Hugs, Wendy

  28. Loved all the projects and fawny inspiration! Yes, we have already had snow in my town–before Halloween!! Leaves were still on the trees, so the wet heavy stuff brought down a lot of branches. Power was out all over. That's the earliest I ever remember getting snow since we've lived in New England (for 18 years!).

  42. No snow here in the south of Sweden, just as it should be. But you got me curious about the northern parts so I had to check and guess what?! I learned that there's no snow anywhere to be found, and that it's the first time since 1904 (when collecting data began)that has happened this late in the season. So now you know too 😉

  47. we have had a few flakes fly by, but nothing's stuck.. we live quite close to the ocean though; those inland have woken up to snow. We have had to scrape frost from our windshield though a few mornings…

LOVE LOVE LOVE Lynette's card & the little scene Chari made!

  48. NOt sure if we consider snow "wonderful" but we have already had some snowflakes here in Omaha! Last Wednesday it snowed fat, super wet flaskes that looked like we were going to be in for a crazy day and then it stopped aprubtly, so we ended up with no real accumulation. But it was thundering and lightning while it snowed which was also interesting!

  49. wonderful cards, love the stitching and string on the 1st card. great buttons and background on the 2nd. The 3rd looks like soft suede, beautiful texture and love the ornament with ribbon. 4th has a wonderful Christmas color combo, love the glitter snow. Snow hasn't started here yet, but I hear we might get some tomorrow! We get plenty of it up here (five months worth) so I'm in no hurry!

  52. No snow in Rocklin, CA either, but it only takes about an hour up the hill to get to white stuff! Definitely to be missed, after growing up in a place with tons of snow 😉

  53. Great cards. I love the all the designers projects. The video with the trees are really awesome too. I need to try these as decorations around the house.

  55. not good timing with that question …. still a bit raw – we had snow, on October 29 we got dumped on with over a foot of snow …. lost power, water, phone, heat, etc. for a week …. – the snow is gone now 60 degree temps … hope not to have more until all the leaves have fallen … as it should be!

  56. Oh my cuteness!!! Such wonderful projects. That tree is AMAZING! I'll be making those for sure!!! We had our first snow on Halloween weekend. 🙁 Thank goodness it melted. As much as I love to ski…I am not a fan of the snow anywhere but a mountain! lol

  58. More amazing projects from the DT! Wow! You ladies ROCK!

We don't often have any snow before December, but we received about 4 inches of it the Saturday before Halloween! It was the first time in my life I can remember snow in Virginia in October.

  59. Oh yes, we have had a few small snow falls. Getting ready for the ski resorts here in Tahoe to open by Thanksgiving! It's breathtakingly beautiful here, and the snow actually helps keep the temperatures from going as cold.
Love those trees and all the lovely creations.

  60. Snow what's that? Our local mountains (2 hour drive) have snow. Joke's aside I am envious of those of you who get seasons. We don't get those here in So Cal.

  61. I just love the smudge inked centers of the snowflakes – brilliant.

Has it started to snow here in Chicago? Unfortunately yes! We had flurries today and the temperature has dropped but no accumulation.

I had a real whammy while visiting my godkids in New Hampshire for Halloween. We got a foot of snow the Saturday before Halloween. They actually had to cancel Halloween until this past weekend. Insane!
