Collect and Create Giveaway

Hello everyone! I had the pleasure of creating some layouts for my friend Amy‘s latest class, Collect and Create with Two Peas in a Bucket. It is such a wonderful class, and Amy is just the sweetest!

She is kindly giving away a spot in her class to Lawn Fawn fans! Just leave a comment here telling us what made you smile today by Friday April 13th and we will randomly pick one lucky winner! Also if you have already purchased the class, Two Peas will either refund your money or let you give the class to a friend. Wonderful!

Here is a little sneak peek of one of my layouts:

I just love using Flutter By as custom embellishments for layouts. Too fun!

Let’s check out some of the details:

Workshop:  Collect & Create with Amy Tan

Cost of class: $25

Special promo: When you purchase this workshop before April 12th, you’ll receive a FREE printable PDF made up of Amy’s label and border designs! Find it in the “My: Downloads” section upon purchase, click on the Digikit tab, print and enjoy. You’ll want to hurry, this is a limited time offer!

Description from Amy:
As crafters and storytellers, we are natural collectors. We save everything from treasured products and pieces from our everyday lives, to scraps and sketches. Incorporating these elements and all of our favorite bits from life are essential to the process of creating. I want to help you create with what you collect!

In this self-paced class, my contributors and I will show you over 50 brand-new projects! Five chapters covering a range of topics are each supplemented with a printable PDF providing step-by-step photos and in-depth looks at the process behind the pages. Get your creative juices going with the “extras” in the PDF’s like challenges and tips, and be inspired by the video in each chapter covering even more examples and tutorials!

Collect & Create explores different styles, as well as my favorite go-to techniques like embossing, using up scraps, incorporating real memorabilia, misting, mixing products and colors, and using sketches. Join me and together we’ll create a whole new collection – pages and projects we love!

The content of this workshop will be available immediately upon purchase. The lessons are available for you to work at your own pace and upon purchase can be accessed in the “Workshops” section under “Classes & Events.” A private message board forum is also available to ask questions for Amy and to connect with other participants. Enjoy!

A big thank you to Amy for this wonderful giveaway!

Thank you so much for visiting!
Have an amazing day,

  1. What a lovely class! I am definitely a collector. (Ask my husband!) Today was my best friend's birthday (which, historically, are bad days for her), so I got her presents and a handmade card. My husband and I took her out for dinner and we had a great time. That made me smile today, not only because I had a good time, but that we helped her have a good birthday memory! 😀

My neighbor's dog comes over to our backyard daily and I caught him doing his silly runs around the 2 backyards. And I feed him treats whenever. Today he gave a loud burp after eating one of the treats which made me laugh. The burp sounded so human-like. So he made me smile.

  8. Many things have made me smile already today – and I have been awake for only 30 minutes! First, the birds are chirping outside, so loud, even though it is raining – this makes me smile because they are so happy that dawn is coming! And, another thing that made me smile was reading a response to a Facebook post I put up – I am in training for my first Triathlon, and my friend invited me to swim and bike this weekend. And, the most recent thing that made me smile was seeing a NEW post on the Lawn Fawn blog. I check it first thing in the morning! THANKS for the opportunity to take Amy's amazing class!

What made me smile is I just returned home from my nephew's wedding. My 78 year old mother flew in from LA to Atlanta then we rented a car to Florida to attend. No radio needed as we talked all the way there and back about everything. Precious memory of our adventure. Good times.

My daughter's Pinterest made me smile…she always pins the funniest, cutest things. She's decided that once she graduates from college and/or has her own apartment, she wants a teacup Yorkie. She pinned a photo of one with little pink bows in its hair…SOOOO cute!!

  31. I am an attendee of our State Autism Conference today & tomorrow. What made me laugh & smile today was the two stars of the movie "Wretches & Jabberers" which we viewed over our dinner tonight at the conference. It's an incredible documentary about autism, starring two amazing adult men who "speak" using their keyboards and travel the world enlightening others about autism. Wow, they had so much to "say" and many times they were funny & made the audience smile and laugh. Very uplifting!

  32. What made me smile today was attending the volunteer of the year luncheon for our county. I was honored to be a part of it.- When I headed home and stopped by the school I volunteer at to finish up a couple of tutoring lessons with students before there state exams on Monday one of my little girls mentioned that I looked all make-upy (I don't normally where make-up when working with my kids) and it was just precious.
