Hero Arts + Lawn Fawn blog swap week! Day 2

Hello, everyone! We have an awesome treat for you this week! Lisa Spangler from Hero Arts and I are switching places! That’s right! She is creating for our blog, and I am creating for the Hero Arts blog. Lisa is one of the sweetest people on the planet, and we absolutely love our friends over at Hero Arts, so I think we are going to have a blast!
After you check out Lisa’s gorgeous project, make sure to head on over to the Hero Arts blog!
Also, in case you missed it, check out our first day post here

We are putting the happy in happy holidays with the swap, and Lisa’s card does just that! I absolutely love how she made the card look like a present! Too clever!

From Lisa:
I was inspired by the paper in the Fa-La-La paper pack to make a card as a present! I trimmed a base card to make the present, leaving enough room to perch Winter Owl so that the card would still fit in an envelope 🙂

Then I cut a little slit in the fold of the card with a craft knife so that I could tie the Retro and Peppermint Lawn Trimmings around it! Love! And another little tip, to really make the trimmings pop, I added strips of white behind them — just like the presents on the paper! 🙂

For the hearts on the tag, first I colored them with a white gel pen, then I went over them with frosted lace Stickles.

Absolutely adorable!! I cannot wait to make a card just like this one! Thank you so much, Lisa! You are the best!
Make sure to head on over to the Hero Arts blog, and say hello!
