Simon Says Stamp March 2013 Card Kit Blog Hop

Welcome to the Simon Says Stamp Card Kit Blog Hop! We are so excited for Simon’s card kit this month, FriendshipFlowers, because it includes papers and stickers from our Daphne’s Closet paper collection! This kit is gorgeous, and I was so excited to play with it that I made 4 cards!
I had so much fun with this kit! Here I used the gorgeous woodgrain paper included, some Daphne’s Closet patterned papers, and our new Hearts Lawn Cuts die! The sentiment is from the gorgeous stamp set included!
I had so much fun with that layout that I decided to make another one. This time I layered washi tape behind the cut out heart. I love that look! I created my own patterned green paper by using one of the flower centers stamped repeatedly. I love that confetti look!

There is a cute little kraft envelope in this kit, and I thought it would be fun to have a hidden message in it! I used the stickers for the scallops, arrow, and sentiment banner. The flower was stamped with the stamp set and layered on another sticker. I love combining stamping with stickers!

This card is all stamping! I layered that awesome large solid flower over and over. I think it has a tropical feel to it! To make the sentiment stand out over all that pattern, I stamped it twice. I just had so much fun with this kit!
