Joy joins us today to share a sweet and simple Pull ‘n Slide Surprise card featuring Backyard Bird Feeder! You can watch the video below or click HERE to watch at our YouTube channel.

Thank you so much for watching!

I love the primary colors that Joy chose for the birds and bird feeder! They make this card so cheery! To create the cloudy scenery, she inked the Pull ‘n Slide Surprise panels using Cloud Background Stencils and Tumbled Glass Distress Oxide ink. Then she arranged the little scene on the top panel, being sure to only use adhesive below the fold. She used a strip of acetate to attach the tree branch to the bird feeder.

When the slider is pulled it reveals a cute scene with another bird and a cheeky squirrel, while the sentiment is visible above.

Thank you so much for sharing this delightful inspiration, Joy!

Two Adorable Graduation Cards with Mayra

Mayra created a pair of the cutest graduation cards! She used new April Release graduation sets to make two very memorable cards, one of them an interactive Pull ‘n Slide Surprise!

I love the colors and the whimsical style of these amazing graduation cards!

For this interactive card, Mayra used Pull ‘n Slide Surprise and Woodland Critter Huggers Graduation Add-On. Her color palette comes from the striped Rainbow Ever After paper. She used Woodland Critter Huggers, Spring Critter Huggers, Snowy Backdrop and lots of colorful cardstock.

Mayra combined Slide On Over Circles with an Outside In Stitched Circle to make the mouse ears. The mouse is so cute with the pink mortarboard and diploma! For the star “balloons” she used Outside In Stitched Star Stackables and Stitched Star Frames with more stars from Shadow Box Card Theater Add-On.

When you pull the slider, there’s an encouraging message from Lucky Stars with the adorable mice of Simply Celebrate Graduation! And finally, Mayra white embossed a Wavy Sayings sentiment on a Simple Wavy Banner.

And for the second card, Mayra started by stenciling Large Stitched Rounded Rectangle using Graduation Caps Background Stencils in the same pretty pastel palette. She inked Giant Hooray to match, then layered it with gold sparkle cardstock and more Rainbow Ever After paper. The cute mice show up again, this time with balloons from Yappy Birthday!

Your cards are so amazing, Mayra! Thank you so much for sharing your adorable inspiration with us!

A Backyard Bird Feeder Reveal Wheel Card with Samantha

Save the Date! We have a special Inspiration Week coming your way next week! We will highlight all the new Spring themed goodies from our April Release, with a fun themed format! And as always, we will have awesome Design Team inspiration, videos with Chari and Mindy, and daily giveaways! Join us for the Big Giveaway and the start of this fun week on Sunday, May 11! Samantha used our new Backyard Bird Feeder sets to make a cute interactive Reveal Wheel card.

Samantha stamped the images from both Backyard Bird Feeder and Backyard Bird Feeder Add-On with Jet Black ink before coloring them with Zig Clean Color Real Brush markers. Then she used a white gel pen to add cute details.

Next, she die-cut and inked the Reveal Wheel panel using Distress Ink in Wilted Violet, Blueprint Sketch, Mermaid Lagoon, Salvaged Patina, Mowed Lawn and Twisted Citron.

To create the Reveal Wheel, Samantha used the Reveal Wheel Arc Frame Add-On and Reveal Wheel Templates: Essential Shapes. The templates make it so easy to line up the stamping in the window.

Thank you for inspiring us with your adorable Reveal Wheel card, Samantha!
