Lawn Fawn Video {7.23.24} Mindy’s Critters in the Desert Card with Coloring Stencils

Mindy used coordinating Critters in the Desert Coloring Stencils to color and add shading to the cute Critters in the Desert! She colored with Lawn Fawn mini ink cubes in a fun desert color palette. In the video she shows how to keep the stamps in the Misti to ink the images once more after coloring. This keeps the stamped lines crisp and bold.

For the background, Mindy ink blending Cactus Border and popped a couple clouds from All the Clouds in the sky. Then she added her sentiment with Cole’s ABCs before arranging all the desert critters and cacti!

Mayra’s Amazing Desert Platform Pop-Up

Mayra created the most amazing Platform Pop-Up card featuring Critters in the Desert and gorgeous colors!

Mayra’s beautiful interactive card starts with a Platform Pop-Up and Platform Pop-Up Add-On inked to create an amazing desert landscape! She also made the look of a star-filled night sky with Snowy Backdrop on the Platform Pop-Up Add-On. She die-cut the inky add-on, then layered it over a white one.

Once the scene was set, Mayra started adding lots of cute scene-building images and cute critters from Critters in the Desert, Toucan Do It, S’more the Merrier, Mermaid for You and Kanga-rrific Add-On! She colored them all in amazing colors, adding gel pen highlights too!

I love how she added layers to the platform base, tucking more bright and cheery images into the extending scene!

Your desert Platform Pop-Up is so amazing, Mayra! Thank you so much for this colorful inspiration!
