Design Team Inspiration

The design team has made the most amazing samples! We also have a video at the end showcasing some fun ways of using these fresh new sets! Remember to click on the person’s name to see all of the details and then leave these wonderful DT girls some comment love!

Elise‘s birthday card is so cheerful! She doubled up the Bunting Background Stencils to create this fantastic rainbow design! Then all it needs is a Scripty Happy and Henry’s Build-A-Sentiment: Spring birthday greeting.

And speaking of rainbows, Mindy inked Draped Ribbons Stencil in a beautiful rainbow pattern! It’s so perfect as a background for the Really High Five critters on this special birthday.

Oh goodness, Marine‘s Fly High design is so adorable! She used bright rainbow colors for Bunting Background Stencils and the hot air balloons are so pretty colored in coordinating shades! Another amazing birthday card!

There’s lots of fun happening in Grace‘s Beam Me Up design! The bright colors of the Draped Ribbons contrast with the deep blue of outer space! I love how she added another layer of fun with Starry Sky Background Hot Foil Plate, so shiny!

Latisha combined the Bunting Background Stencils with Lots of Stars Background Stencils for her thank you design! She added a fun Plane and Simple airplane and banner to create a simple design with lots of impact!

Audrey’s underwater scene is so “fintastic”! She featured You Are Sublime creating a fun design with Desert Canyon Backdrop. Then she stenciled the Draped Ribbons to create the look of sunray in the water!

Elena inked her background in sweet colors before adding the Bunting Background with Stencil Paste in white. It looks so pretty in contrast with the colorful backdrop. Her birthday design is so cute with Elephant Parade critters, cake and peanuts!

It’s a pastel rainbow with Draped Ribbons Stencil that makes Grace‘s card so sweet! She colored the Build-A-Gumball Machine in soft colors with gumballs in the same shades too. Then she added cute critters from Really High Five and Butterfly Kisses for so much cuteness!

Like Latisha’s card, Mindy stenciled the Bunting Background in patriotic colors on a kraft panel to send a special thank you card! She embellished her design with Giant Outlined Thanks and Party Balloons Lawn Cuts!

The Draped Ribbons Stencil creates a dramatic backdrop for Chari‘s Giant Outlined Merci design!

Lawn Fawn Video {6.6.24} Mindy’s Circus-themed Card with Draped Ribbons Stencil

Please join us TOMORROW June 7th, 2024 at 4:00PM PT / 7:00PM ET on YouTube Live!

Our next fun Create with Us is coming soon! In this class hosted by Kelly and Jenn, you’ll create two adorable cards featuring Treat Cart. Make plans to join us on YouTube Live. Click HERE for all the details. We hope to see you there!

Today Mindy joins us with another great card making tutorial! She made a fun circus themed card with a double-stenciled background using Draped Ribbons Stencil. You can watch the video below or click HERE to watch at our YouTube channel.

Thank you so much for watching!

Mindy stenciled with Draped Ribbons Stencil to create the look of a circus big top! She used Festive Berries Distress Oxide ink for the iconic red and white stripe tent. Then she added more fun with Gold Stencil Paste and Starry Sky Stencil. She used a palette knife to apply gold stars all over the background.

She colored the Wild for You critters before attaching them to a Woodgrain cardstock panel. For the greeting Mindy combined Giant Outlined Thanks with a sentiment from Thanks Thanks Thanks!

Here are the Olo markers that Mindy used to color her images for this card. The blue and green colors were for the peacock that didn’t make it onto the final design.

Thank you for this fun video tutorial, Mindy! I love the combination of stencils!
