Lawn Fawn Video {2.28.21} Samantha’s Underwater Shadow Box Card

It’s the start of a new week, so let’s kick it off with a fun video by Samantha Mann! She made an adorable Shadow Box Card featuring I Like You (a lotl)! You can watch the video tutorial below or click HERE to watch at our YouTube channel.

Thanks so much for watching!

Samantha ink-blended the Shadow Box Card pieces along with the Stitched Hillside Borders before assembling the box. She added lots of fun texture and dimension with splatters in multiple colors of ink!

She colored the stamped images from I Like You (a lotl), Ocean Shell-fie and Life is Good with Zig Clean Color Real Brush markers and added character with white gel pen highlights!

I love how she added the Fancy Wavy Banner to the back of the shadow box. The sentiment looks adorable embossed in white on vellum!

Thanks so much for sharing this cute pop-up card and video tutorial with us, Samantha!

Send a Smile with Samantha’s Cute Card

Happy Monday! Today we have a cute card that Samantha created with I Like You (a lotl)! This adorable design will help you to send some smiles!

I love how Samantha created the cute shaped scene with Puffy Star Stackables! She gave the little axolotl a camera and filled in the underwater scene using images from Ocean Shell-fie. The greeting is found in our Selfie Frames die set.

Thank you so much for this sweet inspiration, Samantha!

I Like You (a lotl) Inspiration with Joyce

Joyce joins us today to share an adorable underwater-themed design! This cute I Like You (a lotl) card is perfect for Valentine’s Day or anytime you want to send some love!

Joyce’s adorable scene features a pair of axolotls with some aquatic friends and plants from Ocean Shell-fie and You Are Sublime! Even though axolotls live in fresh water, we checked it out and there are a couple species of octopus and jellyfish that can be found in fresh water as well. Who knew!

To create the watery background, Joyce used our Ocean Wave Stencils and Distress ink in Peacock Feathers. I love the stripey look of the water current. She used Stitched Hillside Borders cut from Kraft cardstock to add the look of sand!

Thanks so much for sharing this delightful card with us today, Joyce!
