Elena’s Shaker Balloon Birthday Party

It’s time for another brilliant party idea with Elena! This time she created a birthday party with balloons and clever shakers!

This festive birthday party combines balloons, shaker elements and bright cheery colors!

Elena started with a Stitched Party Banner cut from Twinkling Cream paper from the Let It Shine Starry Skies collection. Then she cut a Reverse Stitched Scalloped Square Window from the banner, covering the opening with acetate. She used foam tape and another piece of paper to create the pocket for the shaker bits. And then she added a layered Giant Happy Birthday greeting over the acetate window.

To make the balloons for the banner, Elena used Stitched Balloon Frames and Outside In Stitched Balloon Stackables with more acetate and foam tape.

The cupcake toppers are so creative! I love how she used Tiny Gift Box to look like the balloons are popping up out of the box!

For these smaller balloons, Elena used Party Balloons Lawn Cuts dies and Textured Canvas cardstock. To make the wavy white balloon, she cut one balloon with Ocean Wave Borders, then she glued the pieces to a solid balloon.

A little piece of acetate holds the Tiny Gift Box lid open and stabilizes the balloons!

The party favors feature more balloons on a Goodie Bag!

For the drink bottles, Elena added a Twinkling Cream band to the bottle before decorating with more shakers and star balloons.

This birthday party decor is so brilliant, Elena! I love how you included the shaker elements! Thank you so much for sharing your creativity with us!

Samantha always brings something so cute to her creations! For this love themed card she filled the background with fantastic inky techniques. She ink blended bright yellow color before she stenciled Lots of Hearts on the Outside In Stitched Balloons. Those layers of splatters add so much texture and interest on the Simple Stripes: Diagonal background!

I love the whimsical colors she used for the skunks while keeping the black and white “skunk” colors in background!

Thanks for the sweet and whimsical inspiration today, Samantha! It’s so adorable!

Lawn Fawn Video {7.31.21} Samantha’s Wild Stenciled Card

Happy Saturday, friends! Today Samantha shares a “wild” Toucan Do It card with lots of ink blending and stenciling! You can watch the video tutorial below or click HERE to watch at our YouTube channel.

Thanks so much for watching!

Samantha used a combination of Distress Ink blending and stenciling to create this cheerful card! After ink-blending the Outside In Stitched Balloon in shades of green, she used Tropical Leaves Background Stencils! The tone-on-tone pattern of the tropical leaves gives the balloon a unique look!

Next, Samantha used same technique for the card background. She added ink-blended color, then stenciled with Starry Sky Stencil. And then she created even more texture by stenciling again with white embossing paste!

To add cuteness to this design, she colored the Toucan Do It critters with Zig watercolor markers. After heat embossing the sentiment on the curve of the balloon, Samantha arranged all the elements and called it done!

Thanks so much for sharing your super cute inspiration today, Samantha!
