Ivy’s Pretty Rolled Roses Home Decor

We love Ivy‘s fun home decor ideas! Today she shares pretty felt Rolled Roses on mini canvases!

Ivy created these pretty little plaques on mini 4×4 canvases. They can be hung on a wall or displayed on an easel.

This simple design starts with the How You Bean? mason jar stamped on the canvas in Hippo ink. Ivy then assembled the Rolled Roses in pretty colors of felt. She also cut out felt leaves using Pretty Poppies, Large Wreath and Stitched Leaves. After she arranged the roses and leaves, Ivy glued them down using our Glue Tube liquid adhesive.

This is such a great idea for brightening up a corner of a room or for gifting to a friend! Thank you so much for sharing your creativity with us today, Ivy!

A Beautiful Mother’s Day Card with Yainea!

We hope you are enjoying a lovely Sunday celebrating the moms in your life or being celebrated by your kiddos! Today Yainea has a beautiful card to share featuring Rolled Roses and greeting from Big Scripty Words!

This design is simply gorgeous! Yainea used the pretty pastel Dandy Day papers to die cut the Rolled Roses! She white embossed the “big hugs” greeting on more Dandy Day paper before cutting it out using the coordinating die.

She added stitched detail to the card using Just Stitching Double Rectangles before wrapping the panel with Lime Lawn Trimmings cord! I love how Yainea sanded the edges of the panel to look worn, it’s a really cool detail!

Thank you so much for inspiring us today, Yainea!

A Prickly Cactus Party with Elena!

Elena is back with another fabulous party idea! This “prickly” cactus party is for her daughter who it turning the big “One – Oh”! The Year Ten cactus is very appropriate as the party theme!

For the banner, Elena used the Stitched Party Banners and decorated them with Louie’s ABCs, Bunting Borders and the cute cactus! She stenciled the sun rays using Sunflower Ink!

To decorate the drink bottles, Elena “free-hand” cut the cactus arms then spiffed them up with white gel pen details. She added pretty Rolled Roses and created the face using the Narwhal and Friends die set before adding the cute rosy cheeks with Copics and the gel pen.

The cupcake toppers are a combination of more stenciled sun rays and Year Ten cacti with fun Party Animal accessories!

I love how Elena colored the Louie’s ABCs letters to look like cactus! Such a brilliant idea!

This party idea is so awesome, Elena! Thank you for sharing with us and big Year Ten birthday wishes to your daughter!!
