A Fabulous Beach-Scene Card by Jenn

Jenn shares an amazing Life is Good card featuring lots of die-cut layers and fabulous techniques for adding color to the background!

Jenn 8.12.15_1
Jenn added Distress Spray Stains to her craft mat, spritzed with water, “plopped” Distress Watercolor Cardstock into the color then heat set the colorful result. She used Vintage Photo for the sand, Peacock Feathers and Mermaid Lagoon for the water and Tumbled Glass for the sky. Then she added some Wild Honey and Scattered Straw with an ink blending tool for the sunny glow!

AND today’s post too! 🙂

Today is our showcase of Year Five and its coordinating dies along with Happy Birthday Border!  The design team has made the most amazing samples!
Remember to click on the person’s name to see all of the details and leave these wonderful DT girls some comment love! 🙂

Latisha’s cupcake toppers are adorable! I love how she used Pint-sized Patterns, Beachside to coordinate the toppers with the Scalloped Cupcake Wrappers!

The Into the Woods critters are having a party on Chari‘s pretty card.
I love how she placed the Happy Birthday Border across the Joy to the Woods birch trees!

Nicole created a beautiful scene by combining Year Five and Gleeful Gardens! The Happy Birthday Border is the perfect sentiment!

Lynnette‘s cute otter is on a tropical vacation! I love how she paired Year Five with Life is Good!

Yainea‘s pair of otters are adorable! I love how she created a custom sentiment by combining Year Five with Smitty’s ABCs!

How cute is Elena’s card? I love the red balloon and how the Year Five sentiment fits in a speech bubble from A Birdie Told Me!

Nichol‘s shaker card is so cute! How fun is that sentiment stamped with Mermaid and Deep Sea Inks?!

Kristin‘s card is so fun! I love how she inked the Stitched Hillside Borders to create waves!

We are sorry that we don’t have an intro video for you today, but we promise to have them sometime soon!
