Franci’s Adorable Holiday Tags with Ugly and Bright!

Franci is with us today to share her adorable gift tags featuring the new Ugly and Bright set!

To create her festive tags, Franci started by cutting Small Stitched Rectangles from Knit Picky Winter petite paper. Then she layered on Shut the Front Door with a Mini Wreath. For the snow drifts she cleverly used Platform Pop-Up Hillside Inserts!

Then she finished her design with the adorable Ugly and Bright bear wearing a Santa hat and sweater! Too cute!

Thank you so much for inspiring us today, Franci! Your gift tags are so adorable!

Karin’s Watercolor Ugly and Bright Card and a Clever Swatch Book!

September Inspiration Week is just around the corner, and we are so excited! We will be highlighting all the fun holiday sets from the Fall & Winter 2022 Release! Be sure to join us for Design Team Inspiration, intro videos and daily giveaways! See you on the 14th for the Big Giveaway!

Today Karin joins us to share a lovely watercolor card featuring Ugly and Bright. She also created a handy watercolor swatch book project.

Karin’s simply beautiful Christmas card features a sweater from Ugly and Bright. First, she stamped it with Distress Ink in Antique Linen before adding pretty water coloring! And then she layered it on a Lacy Heart Stackable which she also water colored.

She spelled out Noel with Henry’s ABCs, stamping the letters with the sweater to coordinate with the focal image. To finish this lovely design, Karin then attached the sweater and letters to a Fancy Scalloped Rectangle.

Karin is an accomplished watercolor artist, check out her artwork on Instagram HERE. She created a handy portable swatch book to take along on her Plein Air painting adventures. Using a Mini Notebook and Art Supplies Lawn Cuts she gave her travel palette sweet details!

Then inside the book she used the paint tube die to swatch the different colors of watercolor paint she uses. Here she has room for making notes.

This lovely design would be perfect for creating a card for a friend who loves to watercolor! Simply use Gotta Have Gingham Rainbow paper for the background. Then add the pretty arrangement of Art Supplies on a Lacy Heart Stackable!

Thank you so much for your beautiful inspiration today, Karin! I love your wonderful watercolor projects!
