Tall slimline cards make it so easy to create scenes with lots of activity and Ma r ine used this to her advantage! She combined Whoosh, Kites! with Fly High and Crazy Antics to show the mouse family enjoying some summertime fun! Marine set the stage for summer fun on a Scalloped Slimline with Hearts: Landscape panel with Hillside Stencils and Cloudy Stencil. She used Distress Oxide inks for the sky and the grass, then she stenciled the clouds in the sky with white Yeti Ink.

The mice are flying high in the sky in red, white and blue hot air balloons from Fly High! This design is so perfect for the 4th of July!

The middle section of the card depicts the cute Whoosh, Kites! mice flying kites on the rolling hills!

And finally, you can’t enjoy a summer holiday without a picnic and some ice cream treats! For this, Marine paired Crazy Antics with ice cream from Treat Cart! So perfect!

Joyce’s Simply Adorable Whoosh, Kites! Card

Happy Sunday friends! Today Joyce shares a simple and sweet Whoosh, Kites! card!

To create her simple yet beautiful card, Joyce started by inking a panel of Pint-Sized Patterns Summertime 6×6 paper. She used Tumbled Glass Distress Oxide ink to add shading around the edges. Then she cut a Grassy Border from Cilantro cardstock, inking the grass with Lucky Clover Distress Oxide ink. She stamped the sentiment in the “sky” before arranging all the cute Whoosh, Kites images!
