Raspberry Suite Color Challenge #8

I love these color challenges! This time I am getting it in just in time … so this will be a quickie post! Here are the colors:

Here is my take on it:
Clear embossed polka dots on kraft with dark chocolate scalloped border. I love clear embossing on kraft!
The flower is the 3 nested flower shabeabilities dies. So cute! The pipe cleaner was cream colored, and I colored it with my copic marker to make is raspberry fizzy, I left some cream showing through to match the leaves and the brown wire shows through to match the brown elements! Pipe cleaner is fun!

I cut the leaves free hand from vanilla card stock and stamped one half on the greeting on each leaf! Tip for this: fold your paper in half and then cut half the leaf, then you will have a perfect match when you unfold it. It is the only way I can cut leaves!

[Supplies]
Paper: Neenah Paper Classic Linen (classic natural white), Neenah Paper Environment (desert storm), Papertrey Ink (raspberry fizz), Michael’s brand (chocolate brown)
Ink: Versamark, Stampin’ Up (close to cocoa)
Stamps: Papertrey Ink (faux ribbon, polka dot basics)
Etc: Ranger clear embossing powder, Papertrey Ink dark chocolate button, pipe cleaner, Copic (RV17), Spellbinders shapeabilities (nested flower)

glittery and shiny birthdays!

So, I am writing this on Friday again because I am STILL on hold! Grr to you, UCLA Medical!
Okay, as I wrote “grr”, they actually picked up! Do you think UCLA can hear my angry typing?! jaja! 🙂 At least that is done, one more call to make. I hate when insurance messes up and doesn’t cover things when they should!
Alright, enough of that! Here is a birthday card that I made a few days ago. I think it’s super cute!

The flourish was embossed with my new fav silver embossing powder from PTI. The chipboard flower and paper are from the new Destination Paradise Me and My Big Ideas collection at Michael’s. It is super cute! I highly suggest you check it out!
I love all the glitter and shimmer on this card! Doesn’t it make you wish you were in Hawaii on the beach right at sunset? Ahhhh …. if only!

[Supplies]
Paper: Neenah Paper Classic Linen (classic natural white), Me and My Big Ideas Destination Paradise paper pack (blue flowered paper)
Ink: Versamark, Ranger Adirondack (espresso)
Stamps: Papertrey Ink (fancy flourishes), A Muse (simple celebrations)
Etc: random ribbon, filigree detail embossing powder (silver), Stampin’ Up scallop border punch, Me and My Big Ideas Destination Paradise chipboard pack (flower)
