Latisha‘s Yay, Kites! design is so fun and creative! I love how she used “congrats” from Big Scripty Words to ground the cute critters!

Yay! Kristin‘s Yay, Kites! design is full of joy! I love how she used ink and the cloud shape to create the pretty fluffy clouds in the sky!

  1. Love today's cards! My favourite place to fly a kite is the cliffs at Leigh on Sea, UK. My grandparents always took us there to fly kites and it is always windy enough to get them up in the air.

  2. How adorable! Im definitely going to recreate elena's card!!
I love flying a kite at the beach near my house. Particularly when there is the annual kite festival!

  3. I don't think I've ever flown a kite (or perhaps I did as a child without remembering), but there is a big open school yard close to where I live that I think would be perfect on a windy day for flying kites =)

  4. These are so fun! The anticipation is killing me. I can't wait to get my hands on the "big hugs", "thanks", and "hello" stamps and dies!

But, first, favorite place to fly a kite – near the bay, in a parking lot where few cars ever park. There's just so much room to run around in!

  5. I hate to admit this, but I have never flown a kite! Yikes! But I love to watch them on a beach and I also love the song, "let's go fly a kite" from Mary Poppins!
The little bunny and squirrel are the cutest!

  6. Once we were at a boardwalk beach arcade and we played games and we won prize tickets. We traded in our tickets for a kite and had a great time flying that cheesy little kite on the beach – so my fave place to fly a kite is the beach.

  7. oooh those words are awesome!
I used to kite at a park near my house when I was little,
    always loved it!
I remember one of partys when I was little,
were me and my friends made our own kites!
    so fun!
    liefs,
    denise

  8. I have not often got a kite, but I remember that we go to the "Teufelsberg" in Germany. Today I would like to fly a kite on the "Tempelhofer Feld" (in the past the Airport Tempelhof). It's windy enough to have a good "kite-flight" 🙂

  9. Love all the adorable designs! Oh gosh, I haven't flown a kite since I was a kid. 😀 If I was going to, I would fly it in the huge park that my backyard overlooks.

  10. Will need both of these for the scripts words! Very pretty 🙂 I can't even remember the last time I flew a kite! lol but I'm thinking during spring in a nice open field 🙂

  11. Gosh, I haven't flown a kite in ages, not sure where'd I'd go, so many trees around that it could get caught in. I'd look for a dog friendly place though so I could bring my best friend!

  12. These stamps are so versatile, especially love the scripty sayings as kite strings. I love kites and like to fly them in the park by my house.

  15. Beautifully packed full of whimsical sweetness! Totally adorable! My intellectually disabled son flew a kite for the first time a few weeks back. He loved it! Kept yelling 'I did it' the whole time. Keep dreaming up the darling stamps!

  16. Love these. I loved flying kites on the hill of one of our farm fields. One of the few places with no trees and no power lines!

  17. My favorite place to fly a kite is at the beach! You have natures wind source, and the smell and the feel of sea spray while flying it just makes it all the more better! 🙂

  18. Ultra cuteness happening here! Flying kites, with my niece and nephew, in the open field behind their house is my favourite place. Nothing better than enjoying fun-and-frolick with them!

The big scripty words and matching dies are going to be my new staple, just like the Rectangle die that I use on almost every card (I use the rectangle frame now [love it] when I do not use the rectangle die) and I feel I am going to need this full set now. Thank you Kelly. 🙂

Kite flying….oh my. I haven't flown a kite in YEARS! Where we live now, I don't even know of a good place to fly one….lol. When my son was little, we used to fly a kite at my parents, but that's about it. Too many trees around us now to even think about flying one 😉

  56. I love the cards made with these big scripty words and the other stamp sets. As to flying a kite, I have not done it since our children were little and they are all in their 30's and 40's. But I remember we had so much fun flying them in the pasture located below the house where there was no worry about trees or electric lines to interfere with flying magic. It was a great bonding thing. I remember I even made kites for them. And, they worked too!

  79. I don't think I've flown a kite in 25+ years. But the only thing cuter than a cute little Lawn Fawn critter is a cute critter flying a cute kite! So much springy fun!

  80. Bestest place to fly a kite is where there are NO HIGHLINES & not thick forest! By the sea works for me! The kites have so much possibility for card making.

  89. I can't fly a kite right now because of a severe back injury, but if I could, I would love to fly one on the beach. I've never done that before and think it would be so much fun. I love these new sentiments and matching word dies, too!

  98. Such a cute stamp set and such adorable cards you've all created! Makes me happy! I've honestly never been kiting/flown a kite (how do you say it?) but I would love to try and in that case the beach or among large green hills sounds like a fantastic place. Kindly/Vanessa

  100. My favorite place to fly a kite is in Virginia Beach, Virginia. It is called Mount Trashmore. It literally is a mountain made of trash. It is beautiful (you do not see the trash). 102. I haven't flown a kite for years, but I did it in a field as a kid and at the beach as a kid and as an adult, just not lately. I still do have two kites in the closet so maybe the answer should be "on a hanger in the closet"!

  103. This (the scripty words) and the mermaids are my absolute favorites of the release. Flying a kite… wow… haven't done that for years now… So for now my favorite place to do that in is… my imagination! 🙂 However, in a few years, my little baby girl will be big enough to give flying a kite a go, and we'll probably do it on some lovely meadow, or in the green area just outside our house! 🙂
