The sky’s the limit with creating fun Magic Iris cards! Megan used our Let’s Roll set with the Magic Iris Add-On to integrate the interactive action into the scene! The cute fortune cookie from Year Eight cracks as the iris opens to reveal the happy birthday fortune! Such a clever idea!

Audrey used the Magic Iris and the Magic Iris Add-On with Porthole Frames to create this amazing Ahoy Matey card! The little pirate is looking through the Super Star telescope to see the ship, so cute! She added pretty clouds using the Cloudy Stencil!

Tammy used the Magic Iris Add-On then she layered the cute How You Bean? mason jar over the top! The cute mice from Dandy Day, Really High Five and Super Star are catching stars in the jar with the help of the Butterfly Kisses net!

Marine‘s card is so much fun! She used Loads of Fun with a sentiment from A Little Bundle to make an interactive baby welcome card! I love that she used vellum for the Magic Iris moving pieces!

Megan‘s super cute Yay, Kites! scene integrated the Magic Iris using the Magic Iris Add-On! The iris opens to reveal the Really High Five bear holding on to the kite!

Jenn used the Magic Iris Scalloped Add-On to make the Magic Iris the focus of her adorable birthday card! She combined the Hello Sunshine Remix papers and the cute fox and balloons from Really High Five!

I love that Latisha combined both add-on sets to create this super sweet Love Letters design! How cute are the envelopes she stamped on the Magic Iris Scalloped Add-On!

Elise used the Stitched Flower Frame, it fits perfectly with the Magic Iris, to make this set of happy cards! She combined Hello Sunshine Remix papers with our new Shimmer cardstock! I love how the sentiment opens and the cute smiley is behind it!

Elena‘s beautiful card shows how awesome the new Super Star set coordinates with the Magic Iris! She used the new Meadow Backdrop to help build the sweet star-gazing scene!

Jenn‘s sweet card uses Hey Lady with Dandy Day papers! I love how the magnifying glass focuses on the cute lady bug when the Magic Iris opens!

Chari‘s clever design uses Hey Lady with the large leaves on the moving parts of the Magic Iris! She created a magnifying glass using the new Stitched Balloon Frames to focus on the cute Tiny Gift Box Ladybug Add-On inside!

Yainea‘s cute little Ahoy Matey pirate is using his telescope to check out that deserted island! When you pull the Magic Iris tab down, he finds the hidden treasure among the palm trees! Such a fun design!

  1. Love all the inspiration, the possibilities are endless.
I really love when a sentiment gets revealed. So cute😍
    Can’t wait till the 20th

    1. Oh my goodness! The Magic Iris is so cool! I really hate all the wonderful examples, though. It makes me want every single Lawn Fawn set. Guess Ineed to play the lottery!😁

    2. Oh my goodness!!! This is my most favorite die set of all time!!! And who would have thought to do the vellum and washing machine!! Cutest examples every single one!

  2. I could imagine using the magic iris on a birthday card: from a caterpillar to a beautiful butterfly. But there are endless possibilities!

  3. The magic iris is just the coolest. Can’t wait for release – it’s on my list. The kids are going to love getting cards made with this!

  4. Would love to use it like a submarine portal with the porthole frames. Open it up and see the underwater scene from the comfort of inside the sub ⚓

    1. The possibilities are truly endless. Something the “grows” from young to old, sentiments revealed. Even decorating it like a camera. Love it!!!

  5. Ohmy gosh right now I’d like to recreate every card of the design team ^^. After that, I’d use this set with “Mermaid for you” and “Party Animals” – and maybe every other LF stamp set I own. I am head over heals for this new interactive design <3.

    1. Awesome cards. The design team showcased this magic iris set very well. I would use this with the latter stamps, hide a cute photo inside or maybe a new Christmas card.

  6. Love this interactive Magic Iris die set and all the cards showed up above are beautiful! The possibilities are endless using old and new stamp sets with various sentiments! Thanks Lawn Fawn and staff! 😊

  7. Oh, where to start?! Guess with an easy one to figure it out I’d love a bunch of random stamped letters that magically turn into a birthday saying – and lots of cute cheering critters around the magical iris.

  8. I like this reveal die and the leaves that open to the surprise. I would like to try to see if I could do the same with a bud and have it flower.

  9. I would probably start with a simple birthday card because if things don’t turn out I shy away from trying it again, But would try it once

  10. This is a very unique and clever die set! It makes shutter cards so much easier and has a bigger “wow” factor. I would use it to reveal a hidden sentiment.

    1. Hmm, I love the pirate card from the design team, I would do the pirate card with the x marks the spot and the treasure being revealed by the iris. Our little girl would love it!

  11. Your interactive dies are amazing, and so easy to use, I love them! I love the idea of using the iris as a “magnifying glass”, it looks super fun and clever, but it could honestly be used in so many other ways! Hidden sentiments, a surprise popping out of a box or a cake, a bunch of critters shouting “surprise”… endless possibilities!

  12. All this inspo has me so excited to create! I love the idea of putting something surprising behind the magic iris!

  13. I love the idea of the magic iris opening to reveal the sentiment. I would also use the wonderful projects on today’s post as inspiration.

  27. What a fun die!! I think it would be fun to open the Iris and have clear acetate or vellum so you could peak into the inside of the card.

  35. honestly, when you think you know everything lawn fawn takes it next level! i would use this for my oven set! i’d use vellum to display cookies in the oven!

  36. I would love to use it with my favourite down under critters stamp set where there would be the tree when the iris is closed and then make the koala appear when you open the iris.
So cool can’t wait to order the die!

  37. I would make a baking scene, critters and cake ingredients to start (bowls, spoons, eggs and butter ect…), then it opens to reveal a birthday cake.

  38. I love the idea of having one of the cute animals showing up in the middle of the iris to wish somebody happy birthday with a “Surprise” sentiment. So many fun things to do with this die set! A gender reveal card would be so fun. Oh, and a little ghost saying “boo”.

Your design team is amazing! Can’t wait for this to come in the mail.

  53. This die has a lot of different possible ideas to use with it. I think it would make a fun card to have it open up and show under the water.

  54. Such inspiration! I love all these ideas. It would be neat to use the Plan on it: Fitness images with a hidden gold trophy image from Best Pun Ever, for someone who just past a fitness goal.
LF is leading the way with interactive cards!

  55. Holy Moly….so much fun and cuteness here, just love each and everyone of your creations!!! Not sure what I would create, maybe the Easter bunny with jelly beans inside.

I would use this die soooo many ways ….. I would love to use it with the washing machine …. I love the thought of using it with night scenes and constellations …. the fortune cookie is also – and for birthdays …. the before and after stamps would work beautifully

  66. The Design Team really knocked it out of the park with this one! I’d really love a camera die to go with this, It would be so fun to pull a camera lever down and see the picture – maybe it’s more similar to those view finders I had as a kid! I’m trying to figure out which set I have that won’t work with this cool interactive die! So many options. Can’t wait to play.

  67. Love the magic iris die and will use it for birthday cards. I belong to a photography group and plan to use it as a camera opening.

  72. Happy Valentine’s Day!!! The very first thing that I want to create with the Magic Iris set, is Disney themed card for my friend who is going through a tough time right now….the Magic Iris is perfect for the lens of a camera. Yes, I am totally borrowing this idea from your Sneak Peek post back in January. Thanks for the chance to win. Good luck everyone.

  73. I would absolutely love to use this due to make a special card for my Grandmother’s 105th birthday!! This release is by far the best ever!!

and they are such fun. thanks for the
    sneak peek.

  83. I like how the eye looks with the managing glass a lot!! It’s super cute! I bet I could make some fun science related cards with it!!

  84. Like magic – that’s just dandy, Lawn Fawn! I can hardly wait to see the creations that your Fawnies make as well as the design team! Thank you!

  85. I see creating a camera card using the Magic Iris. You could have any of the Lawn Fawn critters or sentiments that appear. It would be neat to use to reveal a photo. My son turns 18 today. If I made him a camera card with the Magic Iris, it would reveal a photo of him as a toddler or baby.

  86. Love this!!! I love the idea of using the stitched flower that is adorable! I would love to use this and there be a Christmas tree on the flaps when it is closed but when you open it Santa is there. Like he was behind the tree putting out the gifts! So cute!!!

  90. Awesome cards. The design team showcased this magic iris set very well. I would use this with the latter stamps, hide a cute photo inside or maybe a new Christmas card.

  94. First of all, the creations the design team designed are AMAZING! Oh my gosh! So talented! How would I use the Magic Iris Die? Maybe one of the before and after stamp sets to reveal the after! The peacock may be a good choice!

  95. So idk y but I think a little pregnancy reveal
Like customizing to have like all these baby critters w a dad and saying Guess what? Opening the iris and saying “your gonna be a Dad!”
Such a cute way lol I think

  96. This die is so cute, definitely revealing sentiments inside, but also really love the cards by chari & yainea how the added designs to the front as well as the inside!!

  97. What a fabulous die!!! love the mice blowing star kisses and catching stars!! So sweet!! There are so many possibilities with this die. I can see little critters wishing birthday wishes and some fun Christmas ideas! Thanks for the fabulous release!

  98. LOVE LOVE LOVE all the inspiration to use this die. The possibilities are really endless, especially with all the cute stamps Lawn Fawn has. I CANNOT wait to get my hands on this die.

  99. The design team samples are just amazing!!! This is a must have die! I’m thinking maybe Ariel’s grotto? That might be fun!

  100. Squealing with amazement!! What a inspiration! What a die! Where to start! I would pick anything that I needed at moment b/c this look it just fit the bill…hands down! Such enjoyment for all. Even a baby reveal card!

  101. Think I would have to “copy” some of the cards displayed today… your design team has done a fabulous job illustrating this great new die!

  102. I think i would make a camera shutter out of it and put a picture of me and the person im giving the card to behind it to reveal 🙂

  103. Oh my goodness! I love this Magic Iris and all the add ons so so much!!! I would use it for any cards, it’s so versatile! I think it would be cute to reveal a picture of my grandchildren on their birthday card. I just can’t express how much I love it! It brings a huge smile on my face! 🙂

  104. I definitely need this Magic Iris die! I want, I want, I want! 😁 I would use it to reveal messages. Wouldn’t it be lovely when someone opens up and it says “Will you marry me?” or “Be mine?”. What a surprise that will be! ❤️

  105. Oh my goodness, I would love this set of dies so much!! Thanks to the DT for making these must have items!! If I had these, I would use it with the Narwal. I’d have him in the pond under the water with the little mouse skaters who will be delighted when he comes up into view!

  106. This is awesome! I love to create fun and unique cards, and the Magic Iris will definitely help me out.
How COOL are these cards – love these samples!

  107. This is one awesome interactive die! It will be my favorite. I imagine to use it in travel/vacation cards, like to display places I traveled or people that I took pic with and receiving the cards. Endless possibilities!

  108. This is another perfect example why Lawn Fawn dies are the best. You knocked it out of the park again! Thank you so very much for your creativity

  109. This magic Iris is so much fun and I just can’t figured yet that its so much fun watching this magic Iris intro how much fun it would be to actual use it 😁 super cute cards 😊

  110. Hmmm, so I am not sure I would use it… I am finding that I tend not to gravitate to action cards. However, if I were to use it, the first thing that comes to mind is the lens of a camera…. So front of card would be a big camera with a view of something… maybe text when the iris closes…. and on the inside ‘photos’ of that scene and others? It’s an interesting concept for an action card, but again, I don’t make many of those.

  111. This is my favorite interactive die yet! There are so many possibilities running through my head. I’m thinking under the sea ideas today.

  112. The Magic Iris is so much fun! I’m not sure what I would do…but there are so many possibilities, I would have fun playing with it!

  113. I would use the mouse blowing on a dandelion. The Magic Iris would open to show a sentiment and the dandelion seeds blowing away. Really, this die set could be used with almost any set and would be enjoyed by anyone, especially kids.

  114. I love this set so much and am more excited by it than anything I have been in a while. I just want to go through my stamp sets and come up with ideas using each of them. For starters, I think it will make for really cute pregnancy announcements and some Christmas cards using the flying Santa and reindeer image.

  115. Lovely! I am Sunshine Chair for my ladies group and I would use it to make some cute cards to brighten someone’s day.

    Carol B

  116. Simply adorable! I would love to incorporate this die on an interactive journal, either revealing a picture or a quote. Also I think it will make a great rattle for a baby announcement. I seriously cannot wait to play with it, in the past I have used similar ideas from a template, but having the die would be awesome and way faster than cutting by hand all the pieces, thanks for the chance to win!

  117. This die is the COOLEST! It’s a must have! I want to use it with my new Before N After Rainbow/Weather LF set! Darling!

  118. I just love all the interactive dies that come out. They are like no other ❤️. The possibilities are endless. You could do a gender reveal card for a baby, save the date for a wedding. All different types of birthdays like big birthdays and reveal the age like 50. I just love it

  119. There are so many amazing design team projects using the Magic Iris die, I would definitely use it to copy some of these projects. My grandkids would love these cards.

  120. Super adorable! Would love to make cards inspired by Audrey’s Ahoy Matey card, Tammy’s Super Star Card, and Chari’s Hey Lady Card (with butterflies).

  121. How I would use this amazing die? I don’t know till if arrives and I start playing with it. But I image using the Christmas Fishes, Frosty Fairy’s and more for Christmas cards (my favorite to make). I also think it would be great to have a large smiling face on the inside that is revealed. I also make a lot of “Thinking of You”/”Have a Great Day” cards. Question: will there be a set of critters with cameras coming. I know there’s Elphie Selfie but it would be nice if they were holding the camera’s like they were taking pictures.

  122. The iris is absolutely magical! So many possibilities! This die, in my collection, would be used to make cards for my niece, nephew, their classmates and their sports pals! In other words: it would get a TON of attention!
    ~carol

  123. Wow Kelly this is super interactive to a new level! 🙂 You guys really are the masterminds behind making interactive die elements for us! Thank YOU! I would definitely use this to create an awesome card for my newphew for his birthday! he would love this!
    Hugs,
    Jo
    Jo’s Scrap Shack

  124. Oh my goodness!!! This is my most favorite die set of all time!!! And who would have thought to do the vellum and washing machine!! Cutest examples every single one!

  207. This die set is now at the top of my wish list!
I would love to use this set along with a bunch of other Lawn Fawn interactive die sets (and a bunch of Lawn Fawn stamps too!) on a poster board for my niece’s bedroom… she came to live with us at the end of October and has been struggling with a lot of mental health issues. It would be cool to have some of negative thoughts on outside and then she can turn the wheel and have it open up to the positive thought. I could use the lift the flap dies by putting possible problems on the outside (like “feeling stressed” or “can’t sleep”) and then putting the coping skill or plan on the inside that will help work through the issue. I could use the reveal wheel to list things that she should do each day to help with her mental health and she could rotate it as she does each one…. lots of other ideas for other dies too!

  208. Definitely the MUST HAVE of this collection! Being a child of the ’80s, hearing “flux capacitor” brings such joyful memories. =D

  224. This is a must have for me!
I love any type of little critter, so probably one of those peaking out would be awesome! But sentiments are fun to reveal too.

  235. I am an avid photographer as well as a card maker! It would be awesome to blend these two together by making cards that opened to one of my photos! 🙂 What a special surprise that would be!

  236. So creative and I love how you come up with such fun interactive elements for our cards! I think I would use the Magic Eye to conceal a saying … so a Happy Birthday or a Thank You card. Or maybe an I Love You.

  237. I would use it in so many ways, but one way would be to use it like the magic picture changer and have the Easter basket from the Easter before n afters change to the bunny in the basket

I dont’ have mini glue dots so I use small pieces of duble adhesive tape but is not strong enought… The “sausages” come off.I put very little liquid glue with the help of a toothpick but I can’t spin at all. What should I do? What is the secret?
