Audrey created a sweet card with a friendly hello using the new Center Picture Window Card Heart Add-On! The set includes a pair of birds, two trees/branches and some leaves as well as the heart shaped window die!

Kara‘s charming design makes the little cutie from I Like You (a Lotl) the star attraction! I love the inky watery look of the background. When a card is this clean and simple it’s all in the details; Kara used an Outside In Stitched Circle to make the window, then she added a Just Stitching Double Rectangle border!

Tammy‘s adorable card is a Valentine delight! She created the heart background using our new Conversation Heart Stencils giving a pretty ombré look! I love that she created her underwater scene for axolotl couple on an Outside In Stitched Heart Stackable layered over a Lacy Heart!

Elise‘s beautiful anniversary card features all the cute images in the Center Picture Window Card Heart Add-On! She created a lovely cloudy background using the Cloudy Stencil and the clouds from the original Center Picture Window Card set!

Grace create an awesome holographic Build-An-Aquarium shaker element for her cute axolotls! I love all the purple details including the Conversation Hearts stenciled in the background! The delicate hello die is found in our Shutter Card die set.

Megan got really creative and used the Center Picture Window Card and the Heart Add-On to make a happy mail inspired design! She combined the images from Let’s Go Nuts with the new Special Delivery set for lots of fun! I love how the red striped Let It Shine paper gives the suggestion of an airmail envelope, such a cool detail!

I love how Yainea framed this cute ocean scene with panels of Spiffy Speckles paper! Her coloring added so much adorable detail to the axolotl pair and they look right at home among the seaweed, coral and ocean flora from You Are Sublime and Mermaid for You! She paired the sweet pun with the sentiment from Thanks, Thanks, Thanks!

With Scripty Joy on the Center Picture Window Card front and some pretty vines from Magic Iris Birdhouse Add-On, Melissa’s card gives a preview of the lovely design on the inside! She used the Center Picture Window Card Add-On to cut panels from Let It Shine paper to frame the heart window!

Mindy‘s charming card has pretty Stitched Scalloped Rectangle Frame and some highlight inking! She gave her axolotl a cute friend from Keep on Swimming and filled the little vignette with the rock from Mermaid for You!

Elena created a fun habitat for her cute axolotl using the Foursquare Backdrop: Portrait! I love how she paired the punny greeting with bold Finley’s ABCs letters!

Kara made this beautiful Center Picture Window Card with just dies! For the front of the card she combined the bird from the new Heart Add-On with the vine from Magic Iris Birdhouse Add-On and a heart from Scalloped Slimline with Hearts: Portrait!

For the inside, Kara included die images from Center Picture Window Card Add-On! I love the pretty ombré inking in Valentine pink!

Elise‘s sweet Valentine is so cute! I love how she paired up all the critters! To fill in this scene she used images from Mermaid for You and Ocean Shell-fie!

Megan‘s amazing underwater themed Magic Iris Snow Globe Add-On scene is the perfect place for our adorable new I Like You (a Lotl) critters to hang out!

Grace created the cutest set of mini cards combining last year’s You’re Just My Type and Heart Shaker Gift Tag with our new Conversation Heart Stencils and Center Picture Window Card Heart Add-On!

Grace added Scripty Hugs and the cute Dandy Day mouse to the inside of her adorable Valentine cards!

Latisha stamped this sweet design in colorful ink! Her cute axolotl is the adorable star of this clean and simple card!

Elena shows how the Center Picture Window Card Heart Add-On can be used for other clever designs! Here she cut the heart into a Goodie Bag! After backing the opening with acetate she arranged the sweet birds and branches in the heart! So adorable!

    1. I think the koala can be so cute! Did you see one recently climbed into someone’s Christmas tree? 🎄 The axolotls are so cute and one of a kind too I think that’s why I’m so excited for this set.

  20. I love snow leopards, we have a few at the local zoo here who have been very successful parents a few times, so the chance to see the cubs so young and grow up has been really special

  22. My favourite “exotic” animal would be a peacock, I just love the male’s colours and shape of their plumes.

  23. I would say that the baby pandas at the National Zoo in DC are my favorite animal. They have a “panda cam” and one can log on at any time to watch the cubs and their mom! The most recent cub was born three months ago and is just learning to walk!

  24. I had never heard of the axolotl so I’ll say it’s my favorite exotic creature. I looked it up on the internet to learn more about them. Thanks, Lawn Fawn, for introducing me to the axolotl in your release.

  25. It’s so hard to choose a favorite…but I love watching the octopus at the Shed Aquarium. They are fascinating creatures.
    Great cards today.

  26. We have an albino corn snake. His colouring is all white and pink, very beautiful. We also have a gecko, a bearded dragon and a dog…so lots of critters.

  27. Couple of days back I saw ppl writing AXOLOTL….. I didn’t know what it was. NOW I know! What a cutie! Exotic to me; PENGUINS! LOVE THEM!!!

  28. I have to admit, I love lizards! That is also my nickname, for over 40 years now; and I find them all over. Sadly, not here in VA where I live now, but when we lived in HI, CA, and Okinawa, I would be blessed to see them all over! I miss my little cousins! I even got to see some in Australia when we were there! { I don’t consider myself an actual lizard but I feel like they are all my relatives! I have been known to save them from the sticky strips that the pest people put down to catch mice.}
This release has introduced me to the axolotl!!! How cute is this little amphibian!!!!! I like the new stamp of him or her, and am excited to get my amphibian hands upon them!! Hopefully this is consider exotic enough 😉 !!!!

  29. The heart window is such a cute addition! My favourite animals are turtles and tortoises..not sure if they count as exotic tho haha!

  31. I love this axolotl! 🙂 I think ocean creatures are my favorite (but only when they’re as cute as Lawn Fawn’s!)

  32. HUGE exotic critter lover here…. I love them all! Otters, Tigers, Ligers, Okapi, Axolotl, Kinkajou, Sugar Glider, Platypus, Echidna, Flamingo…. I vould go on for quite a while. I was pretty bummed when I found lawn fawn after the Otterly Merry Christmas set was long gone. Thank goodness there were tons of other unique critters to enjoy.

  33. I just read that there is to be a display of the axolotl at the San Diego Zoo in 2021 so you will have to go there LF peeps and hopefully we get to move back to Oceanside and can go ourselves to see these fun creatures! Here is a link to the species in case anyone is interested: https://animals.sandiegozoo.org/animals/axolotl

Thanks for including this stamp; so fun to learn about critters!

  34. My husband and I used to own two ferrets. They were the cutest funny little critters. My daughter has a couple too now. Great examples. Love them all

  35. Wonderful cards! I’ve always thought a platypus was an amazing creature. They aren’t really “cute” but such a unique mammal. Fascinating creatures!

  36. I don’t really have a favorite exotic critter. I love this new critter you have created, the axolotl, as it is so different. Love the cards!

    1. I love all animals. But my favorites by far are kangaroos, owls, and penguins. I had never heard of as Axolot. But your stamp set is so cute. It will be in my shopping cart on the 12th.

  37. Do koalas count as “exotic critters”? I love them!! Love the diversity of dead on all these cards! Thanks for inspiring us to use ALL our Lawn Fawn goodies with the new sets too!!

say they are adorable. Might have to change my mind. All the Lawn Fawn critters
    are cute and adorable.

  39. I would have to go with monkeys or puffins super cute animals. What a wonderful mini release as always you don’t disappoint. Can’t wait.

  40. Hard to choose favorite exotic critter but I think it would be the kiwi. Thanks for the amazing release and video’s

  41. I love unicorns. They are my exotic creature for sure. Thank you for all the inspiration this week. Can’t wait to order new Lawn Fawn!

  42. I am a huge fan of cats, so it is no surprise that my favorite, most exotic animal would be a BIG CAT – the cheetah. It is a tough decision though because there is also the panther, bob cat, tiger, and lion. But my daughter is in love with that axolotl!

  43. That little critter is so cute! Geez narrowing it down to my favorite is pretty hard. I guess anything I’d that wild cat family would be my favorite. I really love every kind of animal though!

  44. Cute cards! I think I’m going to say giraffes are my favorite. It’s so hard to choose only one. Is a giraffe considered an exotic animal?

  45. What a sweet set! I would LOVE to have a serval cat, although they don’t really care for a litter box so that could pose a problem. A close second would be the Kinkajou, so soft and cuddly 🙂

  46. These cards are so fun!! We lived in Florida for a long time so we love our geckos, lizards and usual critters! Ga has several different and beautiful salamanders in the rivers , lakes and on land!

  47. Great cards, love birds. My favorite animal is the Panda bear. My grandsons were infatuated with the axolotls at our local aquarium.

  48. One of the exotic animal that I like is the tiger. There are so many that saying one is my favorite is really hard to do.

  49. My favourite is the platypus. We went to see some in Australia, and they were so cool. We drove far out of our way to see them, and thought we might not actually spot one, but we saw them swimming around.

  50. More cuteness from the designers! I had never heard of an axolotl before so I had to look it up. Your version is SO cute! My favorite animal is the elephant but I don’t know how exotic that is. I also am fascinated by chameleons. Thank you for the chance to win!!

  51. So many exotic animals to choose from but right now my favorites are the Watchman Goby and the Pistol shrimp. The shrimp is basically blind and relies on the goby for protection and the goby relies on the shrimp to construct burrows for him. It is so fun to watch the 2 of them together – always side-by-side!

  52. Exotic? I would love to have a big cat, like a SWEET, GENTLE male African Lion. Oh, and he can’t spray 🙂 The heart and bird idea is very cute. I like the pop out aspect.

  53. I love red pandas!! They’re so cute and not many people know about them, but it would absolutley make my day if you had a stamp and coordinaditng die set with some red panda critters!!

  54. Don’t know if an elephant is exotic, but they
have always fascinated me. Got to see
lots of them on safari in 2011 – beautiful,
    majestic creatures. Love the collection
of designs in today’s post. thanks for
    sharing. txmlhl(at)yahoo(dot)com

  55. My favorite exotic animal would have to be…..a platypus! I had a beanie baby growing up of one and it was my favorite!

  56. I don’t know if I can pick a fav exotic animal…maybe seahorse, maybe axolotl now(I’ve never heard of them before…but I’m in love with this stamp)

  57. I’ve never heard of an axolotl, but the stamp looks so cute! My favorite exotic critter… The koala bear is definitely on that list. But so many animals are amazing!

  58. Cute cards!
Side note: your blog post ends with “I hope you have enjoyed this look at Scalloped Slimline with Hearts: Portrait and Scalloped Slimline with Hearts: Landscape” but that was not the subject of this post! 😊

  59. And there it is – the thing I *MUST* have in the release, that center cut hard for pop-out cards. I love those! So fun to see different “nonstandard” animals! I am obsessed with the weird critters, I bet Lawn Fawn could make an adorable smiley Quoka! I also love giant anteaters and lesser anteaters because they are the strangest, cutest critters!

  60. I love manatees and sea dragons. I can’t wait for the new I love you a lotl. Is that animal an axolotl? It looks like an adorable salamander to me.

  61. What great cards! I love this add-on die and the adorable stamp set!
I love all of the exotic birds…. I have two pet birds. One Sun Conure named Little Bird and on Sulphur Crested Cockatoo name Clyde.

  62. I was recently looking at pictures of Arctic animals with my grandson. I can hardly believe that Narwhals are real, but Puffins have been my favorite since I was little! I never knew about the Axolotl-they are very cute!

  63. I enjoy watching most animals, only touching a few however. I try to be respectful of their wild nature. The axolotl was new to me, and LF makes it cute!

  64. So much cuteness today! And now I am off to see what an axolotl is. No favorite exotic for me…as long as it’s not a snake, I would love it.

  65. Gosh those cards are so cute! Exotic creatures… well I love the little Niffler from the Harry Potter books. I also love Newt Scamander as he’s certainly exotic!

  66. I have always loved axolotl’s. I’ve looked into owning one too but with a baby and dog that would be a lot of work. Maybe when he moves out 🤣

  67. I don’t know if they are exotic, but I’ve been a huge fan of pandas since I was very young. I’ve visited the National Zoo and the Atlanta Zoo specifically to see the pandas (and was sad, but understanding when we went to Southern California and they had none to exhibit because they were sent to China to help to keep the gene pool diverse.)

  68. That critter is adorable but my favorite exotic critter is a an orangutan. Wouldn’t that make a cute LF character??

  69. I had to look up exotic animals to figure out exactly what would qualify as “exotic”! It’s actually quite a large category (accordingly to what I read), even rabbits are considered exotic! When I saw that it suddenly became very easy for me to decide my favorite exotic animal is the tiger.

  70. Had to look up what a axoloti was. Very interesting. I don’t know if they are exotic are not but my favorite animals besides cats are sea turtles and raccoons

  71. I LOVE the axolotl!!!! My son and I read animal books when he was little and I remembered that critter when I saw this stamp. I’m SO buying it!!! He’s my favorite!

  72. I have to go with flamingo- although I am not sure he is so exotic any more, then followed by the platypus and the manatee. The axolotl is too cute!

  73. These are super cute! I didn’t know what an axolotl was until today! My favorite exotic animal is the kangaroo, I wish I had a built-in pocket sometimes!

  74. Hmmmm, not sure what that axolotl is, but it must give a lot of hugs and kisses. Wondering how many recipients will know what it is. Really cute creature though. Exotic, hmmm? Today is too hard for this old head. I think Narwhal, if that’s the dolphin with a horn, but exotic I dont know, favorite not sure, but most intriging and cute creature for me. Thanks for the chances this release.

  75. Super adorable creations! Never heard of an axolotl, looks so cute on the LF projects! Do koalas and penguins count as exotic animals? Those are my favourite.

  76. These cards are amazing! And learning about axolotls was fun! Favorite exotic creature would probably be jellyfish.
But you have the most amazing designs and design team!!

  77. These are so cute!! My girls love axolotls! My favorite exotic animal is an elephant. Every time someone in my family sees an elephant we’re reminded that we are loved 🥰. See an 🐘 and think “Never forget-I love you!”

  78. I am not much of a animal lover in real life (I am sorry) but I love love love all the Lawn Fawn animals, hope this counts 😉

  79. I love Gorillas and find them fascinating to observe. When watching them at the San Francisco Zoo during visits as a child and adult, it was hard to tell who was watching who.
I would love to see a stamp and die collaboration between Lawn Fawn and Ellen De Genere’s Lowland Gorilla Foundation. It would be highly successful and sought after. Gorilla stamps would assimilate well with Lawn Fawn’s other wildlife stamps.

  80. I love birds and have an African Grey Parrot. She is amazing and talks a lot. Her name is JoJo. I live salamanders, we had them in Wisconsin growing up. They are so cute.

  81. They’re not really exotic because we have them in places in Canada, but puffins!!! I have an obsession with puffins <3

  82. They aren’t terribly exotic, but I have always loved giraffes. The new heart add on to the center picture window card is next on my list!

  83. So many beautiful creatures but if i had to pick then it would definitely be sugar gliders. Lovely inspiration cards.

  84. The axolotl stamp set has my heart- these creatures are so magical and you’ve totally captured that! Way to go Lawn Fawn!

  85. I love the heart add-on and the beautiful projects from the design team!! My favorite exotic animals are elephants and giraffes.

  86. My favorite exotic animal are koalas, love those cute furry ears and their noses are so adorable!! Loving the heart cut outs!!

  87. My fave exotic animal is a sloth but stamp companies have made him a sweetheart. And Lawn Fawn did the best job of it. Now with axolotl, wow…. You guys keep going 2021 will be your best year yet!

  88. I have to have this cute little Axolotl! There are a lot of exotic critters I like, Capybaras are pretty special though.

  89. Unicorns are exotic, right? My favorite exotic pet would be a great blue heron, because they eat frogs, which are my least favorite animal in the world.

  90. I never even heard of axoloti. I have to look that up. My favorite exotic animal? Don’t know if it’s exotic,
    but I love flamingos!

  91. I love Narwhals and Unicorns (I swear unicorns exist)! This set is soooo cute, actually the whole release is!!!

  92. Koalas are adorable (if a little grumpy) but I’m Australian so they’re not exotic to me LOL so I would say Giraffes!!

  93. I love this die set and this adorable stamp set too! Great projects from the DT
We have a very cute critter in Australia called the quokka. It’s kind of like a cross between a mini kangaroo and a meerkat

  94. I love all the fun add-on sets you create. They make already wonderful sets even more versatile. Koalas are my favorite exotic critters. It was so special to see them in the wild when I visited Australia.

  95. I don’t know much about exotic animals but the grandkids did have some flying squirrels. Things were crazy and reproduce like rabbits! I’ll stick to your axolotls stamped on paper (it’s safer)!

  96. After seeing this today it is definitely the axolotl now! I would also love to see a duck billed platypus stamp that would be cool!!

  97. Oh my goodness… I can’t think of any but is a Hedgehog exotic??? That would be my choice if it is 🙂 I’m so excited for this set to come out. Can’t wait to get it all!

  98. I am in love with foxes….but my daughter is attending college in a zoo program so I am in need of this axolot stamp so I can make her a adorable card!!!!

  99. I have a mini pig. I got him from the Exotic Pet shop on 1st Ave here in Tucson, Az. Loving the DT creations today !!!

  100. Adorable cards! I love the little birdies. My favorite exotic animal is my grand-dog, she’s a toy sized xoloitzcuintli (Mexican hairless)

  101. This release is just getting better and better. I love the hear add on for the window card and those creatures are super cute. I love platypus!!!

  102. Oh my goodness the axolotl is so adorable and I love the punny sentiment that goes with it. I will definitely need to put this in my basket. Super cute. 💗

  103. Swoon! I love these dies and new stamp set. I guess my favorite exotic animal is the zebra. They are so cute, and are incredible. I love seeing them when I can.

  104. Axolotl? I’d never heard of them before and when I googled them to see colour schemes I really was impressed at how cute and friendly they look! My favorite exotic animal? The gazelle/antilope family

  105. Well, I haven’t heard of this animal! The axolotl! Soo cute! Your design could transform even a spider into a cute animal…LOL. My favourite exotic animal is the monkey (if we can consider it exotic)

  106. I just love all of these beautiful projects!! The DT outdoes itself each and every single time! I don’t have one – aside from a dragon, I guess! They always look super cool!

  107. I like sloths. I’ve always said Eeyore was my spirit animal, and somehow a sloth seems to fit right in. Thanks for sharing all of the beautiful designs.

  108. My favorite exotic critters is the Squirrel monkey🐒. I don’t know why, but maybe it’s because Pippi Longstocking had a cute little Squirrel monkey, herr Nilsson.

  109. how fun are the new heart die and that cutie axolotl!!
i don’t think i have a favorite exotic animal… but i have a deep desire to hug every type of animal is baby form. haha, does that count?

  110. I love the cute little birds! My favorite exotic animal is always some type of bird, but which species is always up for debate!

  111. SWOON!! I LOVE all of the AMAZING Inspiration being shared today!! My FAVORITE exotic critters would have to be the Unicorn and the Dragon!! THANKS so much for sharing and have a FABULOUS Release Week!!

  112. Well this is a hard one. Axolotls are pretty darn cute, but I think sugar gliders/flying squirrels take the cake for me! Those big eyes really get me <3

  113. I really can’t say that I know very many exotic animals. I think the axlotl is pretty fun! Thanks for introducing it to the lawn fawn family!

  114. I love the look of the holographic aquarium. I will definitely have to copy how Grace made it look like the water was sloshing around in the aquarium. I am so excited to finally see a new add on for the centre window picture card as it truly is my favourite type of card to make. I will definitely have to make a scene involving the axolotls in the stitched heart window.

  115. It is way tooooooo adorable!
My friends will definitely be excited to receive cards from me using these Valentine’s Day items! 🥰💕
