Design Team Inspiration

The design team has made the most amazing samples! Remember to click on the person’s name to see all of the details and leave these wonderful DT girls some comment love! We are working on the Intro video, look for it in the next few weeks.

Mindy‘s adorable Woodland Critter Huggers fox is summer-ready with her floppy hat, tote bag and umbrella drink! These new summer accessories are so much fun, taking the critter huggers from Winter and Spring into Summer!

Mindy added a notecard to the back of her cute and summery fox with a sentiment and scene from Life is Good!

Grace created the sweetest card by combining the Spring Critter Huggers duck with the Woodland Critter Huggers Summer Add-On! I love the peachy Fruit Salad paper on the hat and the striped pattern on the tote! She framed the holographic shades wearing-critter with a Reverse Stitched Scalloped Circle Window, also from Fruit Salad paper.

Elena‘s design is so sunny and just makes me smile! She cut the Spring Critter Huggers bunny from kraft cardstock, then she added the sweet scarf to her head. She filled her tote with a camera and decorated it with a pretty hibiscus flower. The lemony Fruit Salad paper and Scripty Enjoy are the perfect accompaniments!

Latisha got so creative, making a collage with only the fun summer accessories! I love her combination of bright colors and black accents; it looks so cool on the simple white card!

Lynnette filled the raccoon’s tote with the hibiscus blossoms included in the Woodland Critter Huggers Summer Add-On set! And the floppy hat looks so sweet as well!

Kara used complementary colors, blue Fruit Salad paper and Canned Pumpkin cardstock to create her eye-catching design! This cool fox is so cute with her floppy hat and cold beverage! I love how Kara placed the tote on the fox’s tail, that is so clever!

Megan‘s design is so adorable! She filled the rabbit’s glass with carrot juice and tucked her sunglasses into her scarf atop her head. Life will be so good when receiving this charming gem in the mail!

Audrey added just the sunglasses and cheeks to her sunny design! She used Stitched Sun Frame to create a shaker element to layer over a Sunburst Backdrop. She also included Simple Puffy Clouds.

Oh, my goodness, can you handle this cuteness! Caly has taken her Woodland Critter Hugger to a tropical locale with stenciled palm trees and a sandy beach. It’s a good thing she has her camera to record some memories!

Rebecca created a trio of Woodland and Spring Critter Huggers to show all the accessories included in the new Summer Add-On set! Here she combined the floppy hat, sunglasses and drink.

This design is so sweet pairing the tied scarf with the tote.

And then this cute deer is wearing a ball cap and carrying his camera!

  1. There could be a baking add on set with a chefs hat, an apron, some oven mitts and mini cupcakes, would be so cute.

  2. A school set? Like lunchbox, schoolbooks, etc? Or how about different professions? Stethoscope, fireman’s hat, policeman’s hat, etc?

  3. A kitchen add-on with an apron, oven mittens, cutlery, grill accessories, and alike would be super cute.
Or item for chores around the house (broom, laundry and alike).
Or travelling-themed items like a suitcase with stamps for passports, tickets and so on.
    Or video gaming accessories.
    🤔

  4. I’ve always wondered why there weren’t pieces to make a bear included in the Woodland Critter Huggers set! More bears is always good.
And maybe being able to make little mice would be cute to coordinate with all the mice sets.

  5. Darling designs with these woodland critters all ready for summer. They will be fab with a camping or holiday add on.

  6. A Halloween set would be cute! And all of the ideas above are good…baking, sports, camping, different professions.

  7. I like the ideas of all the previous commenters. Everything you all come up with us awesome!!

  8. I really like the school idea that someone else had. I also think that a spring and a fall add-on would be great!

  9. A Halloween accessory set would be fun!
I do have another product request- an off-set sayings style ABC stamp set with outline and solid letters and numbers, maybe upper and lower case?

  10. Birthday theme: cake/cupcakes, ice cream, streamers, candles, presents, balloons, party hat, birthday crown/tiara, birthday sash

  11. Such cute critters! Would love to see a 60s vibe collection for these critters or for any of your stamp sets – mice or bears or?? flower headband, lava lamps, VW van, peace sign, etc

  12. I love the critters and these huggers are so cute!! Wouldn’t it be adorable to have them at a tea party?

  13. These make such cute little gifts for parties. I would like more options to make them different animals. Maybe a dog, a unicorn, a cat, farm animals, etc.

  14. I’d love to see a bear hugger that could be decorated as a black, brown, grizzly or polar bear…or even a panda.

  15. Maybe some holiday stuff like stockings, candy bucket/pumpkin, etc. Or a fishing rod, tackle box and fishing hat!

  16. So Cuuuute! I love how these dies can be used with the critters or use them on their own for some fun cards. I plan to use mine for some beachy fun cards with my palm tree dies.

  17. These are the cutest cards and critters! I fun add-on would be a chef’s hat and kitchen utensils or a medical professional!

  18. Cute cards. Professional themes such as: nurse, doctor, beautician, barber, police officer, carpenter, plumber, etc. I guess a multifunctional set that would apply to any profession just by changing out the cardstock color.

  19. Living on a tropical island this set is the perfect add on for my critters. I would use them for every occasion: birthdays, anniversaries, wedding cards, etc. Love love love ❤️😍

  20. Cute cards – I especially liked Audrey’s sunburst card! An Autumn/Thanksgiving themed add-on would be a lovely idea.

  21. I would like cooking and baking add on. This set is so gorgeous 😍 And maybe wedding add on would be nice too.

  22. A wedding theme would be fun! If there’s a baking one and it had a birthday cake or birthday cupcake, I’d get it, too!

  23. They are very adorable – but I don’t have any ideas as I don’t have this set! But I’m leaning towards it after seeing all the wonderful designs!

  24. I like the baking idea, and also a Halloween set with masks, a witches hat/broom, and pumpkins and leaves they can hold.

  25. So many cute props in this add-on set! Love it!

  26. I have these Woodland Critters and the add-ons for winter. The spring ones would be a nice addition. Having Halloween costumes would also be a great add-on.

  27. The sunglasses sure give the critters a cool factor I think my older grands and nephews would appreciate

  28. A school add on, birthday accessories, sports, Halloween acessories would be fun. Christmas accessories, scuba diving, swim suits with towels, sunglasses and a cooler.

  32. These would be so awesome to hold a gift card or cash!! Love to see some cats and dogs in the collection!

  33. This would be fun to use as a gift card holder. I am now making a lot of graduation cards and back to school cards and have been finding creative ways to attach gift cards to my projects. This would a fun way to add those gift cards with a little bouquet of flowers

  34. A Halloween add-on with a witch hat, a broom, a little jack-o-lantern, a trick or treat bag would be cute.

  36. It would be fun to have some add ons for them that are seasonal! I could see using for Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas! So cute!

  37. A woodland critters cat or bear would be what i will most definitely buy 😂.
Baking add on for the critters or christmas items .

  38. Kitchen, camping, outdoors, graduation, birthday, so many cute cute things could be made💚💚💚💚

  39. Adorable. And this is coming from someone who hasn’t been interested in the Critter Huggers. The summer add on makes them adorable.

  40. Would love to use them on packages! Would love a happy mail version! And also a teacher themed set but not just apples and pencils

  41. I have not seen woodland critters before now, it is cute and I am going to go on LF site and investigate the rest of them ✌️

  42. I would love to see Holiday themed for Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas, Valentines Day, St. Patty’s Day
Easter, birthday & anniversary! I also would love a baking set along with a new critter hugger Mouse! 💗🐭💗

  43. Love the Woodland Critter Huggers and the summer add-on set is absolutely fabulous! I think it would be cute to have an add on that is fall themed, with some items for back to school….bookbag, books, lunchbag, school supplies, apples, leaves, pumpkins, and a straw hat. Perhaps some new hugger critters like a dog, cat, panda, unicorn or even a mouse would be adorable! 🙂

  44. I think the woodland critters are cute but never really bought any. A lot of good ideas were already mentioned.

  45. Some fall add ons like pumpkins, acorns, sunflowers, corn or wheat and leaves with scarves and hats (cowboy hat, fedora) would be cute.

  46. I would love to see a fantasy add-on set so the critters could be acting as their DND characters (sword, wizard hat, spell book, bow and arrow, shield, lute, etc)

  47. Awww…. there are lots of add on that I think we need, agree with those above school, baking, gardening, crafting, weeding and get well themed add-ons would be great.

  48. I love these summer critters for Yay Summer type cards. I would have never thought to use the parts like Latisha did without the actual critter! Super cute!

  49. Holiday add ons are always handy. Maybe one set that included a few add ons for different holidays.

  50. More hats of different kinds. Halloween/Thanksgiving. Rain boots. Farm set with cowboy hat, milk pail, rake. Runner set with head band, water bottle running shoes, tank top. Construction worker/ logger set with a hard hat, shovel, safety vest, chain saw, HoeDad, tool belt. I could go on and on!

  51. I don’t have the original set which I am now considering getting it after seeing this set but for now, I think I can use thse individually on my cards, without the critters. I love it! <3

  52. I have loved the Critter Huggers since I first saw them, and this set makes it so much more versatile! I’d love to see other “seasons” – not just holiday, either. Thanks LF!

  53. It would be cute to use the Woodland Critter Huggers Add-Ons as party favors to hold a mini candy or lollipop.

  54. I think it would be cute to have either accessories for holidays or professions, such as many others mentioned in their comments.

  55. I am thinking that the woodland critters would be adorable trick or treating… or maybe fishing/camping … or shopping for shoes/bags/more hats

  56. I would love to see a dog hugger (not sure if I can make one with the existing sets🤔), but for accessories, it would be cool to have something like a bikini for summer (though we just have some accessories for this summer release) or a tutu skirt add-on would be super cute😁

  57. My goodness all of the inspiration cards were adorable with the Woodland Huggers! Having sports or holiday accessories would be cute!

  58. The add-on set is such a great way to use the critters over and over again. I think maybe a sports add-on could be fun.

  59. Scrolling through, people had great ideas. Really like the idea of a Halloween add-on set. Thanks for the opportunity to win this set.

  60. Hugger Add-ons…Halloween, Thanksgiving (pilgram, turkey, native), Fall, Baker, Tree Decorating, Love, Birthday/Party/Celebration

  61. I’d love to see the critters at a famous spot like the Eiffel Tower or the Sydney Opera House or in front of one of the great pyramids of the world (Egypt or Mexico). I’d also love to see gardening gear like a hoe, rake, watering can, etc. for the critters.

  62. I’d love a birthday themed add on- bday cake-hat, balloons as its nice to slip a gift card in there for birthdays!

  63. Oh, so now I need the bunny die…Lets add star shape sunglasses or heart shaped sunglasses (Valentines)

  64. My idea is not so much woodland, but maybe a little girl or boy hugger. Or maybe a sea star or octopus or jellyfish hugger.

  65. Oh my gosh there are so many possibilities. Maybe vacation themed like camping, beach, mountains, international travel, also more animals to make like a mouse, elephant, and so on. Or other themes like in the home, gardening, back to school and maybe more holidays. All of the inspiration is so amazing!!!
