Joyce added so much homespun charm to this thoughtful card by starting with Gotta Have Gingham Rainbow paper in the background! Then she kept her design simple by adding the potted succulent on a Zig Zag Circle Stackable. The sentiment is a combination of a white embossed sentiment with Henry’s ABCs.
Joyce cut the pieces for the plant and pot from colorful cardstock, then she added shading with Distress Oxide ink. This is such a happy little succulent and it’s so perfect to send a hug in a card!
This card is absolutely charming, Joyce! Thank you so much for inspiring us today!

Design Team Inspiration
The design team has made the most amazing samples! We also have a video at the end to introduce this fun new die set! Remember to click on the person’s name to see all of the details and leave these wonderful DT girls some comment love!
Latisha‘s card is so gorgeous! It’s a quick and easy way to send lots of love with pretty succulents simply cut from colorful cardstock!
Mindy‘s card looks like she took a page out of a home design catalog! These succulents in pretty white pots are so stylish! She started with a Brick stenciled background, then she added the plants on shelves borrowed from Purrfectly Wicked! And of course, a cute little mouse is the perfect finishing touch!
Megan‘s card is so charming, and her sentiment is such punny fun! She combined Plant-A-Succulent with Henry’s ABCs to create a sweetly sincere way to say I’m sorry!
Audrey‘s card is a wonderful way to send birthday wishes to a succulent fan! I love the bold colors she used for the plants and the terra cotta look of the pots!
How amazing is Kara‘s gorgeous and creative wall of succulents? She used Simple Stripes: Landscape with Woodgrain cardstock for the wall, then she cut circles out for the plants! And her coloring of the succulents adds so much realistic detail!
Lynnette‘s pair of Plant-A-Succulent cards used the Simple Stripes dies as well! She created simple backdrops for her colorful plants to send love with hugs!
Grace used How You Bean? with the shaker add-on and vellum to give the jars a glassy look! This slimline design leaves lots of room for a custom Henry’s ABCs greeting with two cute terrariums!
Caly‘s Platform Pop-Up filled with succulents is so amazing! She inked the Plant-A-Succulent die cuts in awesome jewel tones before assembling them on the platform. Then she attached a cute greeting spelled out in Henry’s ABCS.
And now, I have a video to introduce Plant-A-Succulent and to share some colorful and cute inspiration for this set! I hope you enjoy it! You can watch the video below or click HERE to watch at our YouTube channel.
