Introducing!

Today is our showcase of Deck the Car and Birch Tree Stencils! We’ve loaded the car up with all the things we need to celebrate a wonderful holiday season! Paper piece this fun set with different colors of cardstock and patterned papers to create a new look each time!

Layer the Birch Tree Stencils to create a beautiful tree-lined background for your projects. Use one stencil to color your trees, and the other to mask your trees to create a colorful sky! This stencil works well with a variety of crafty techniques.

Design Team Inspiration

The design team has made the most amazing samples! We also have a video at the end showcasing some fun ways to use these new Lawn Cuts and Stencils sets! Remember to click on the person’s name to see all of the details! And leave these wonderful DT girls some comment love!

Marine‘s snow globe themed design is so bright and cheerful! Deck the Car looks great in the Magic Iris Snow Globe Add-On with Birch Trees stenciled in the background! She added lots of shiny fun with a hot foiled greeting and snowflake background along with silver accents on the snow globe!

Kara‘s Deck the Car scene is so fantastic! The Unicorn Sparkle embossed Frosties snowflakes look so bold against the black night sky. I love how she outlined the car with Silver Metallic cardstock to create a totally unique look!

I love how Melissa used Deck the Car to embellish her Christmas scrapbook page! It goes so well with the theme of looking at Christmas lights. And it is so clever to use Giant Outlined Oh What Fun as the page title!

Grace got really creative and used some cute bears to fill the car in her adorable Platform Pop-Up design! The pretty pastel colors are so amazing with the holographic Finley’s ABCs! This card is so fun and festive!

Caly created a lovely backdrop for her card with Birch Tree Stencils! The way she colored the Christmas tree adds so much interest to this simply lovely design! Her scene takes advantage of the Simple Road Border!

Mindy‘s gorgeous Autumn design features Pumpkin House and a cute little mouse! The Birch Trees stenciled in the background look so great and add subtle pattern!

And this cute Acorn House design which includes a few more mice looks so beautiful with a blue sky and more Birch Trees! Mindy used White Stencil Paste to show another way to add texture to the background.

Forest Backdrop frames Lynnette‘s cute red car so perfectly! With snowy Stitched Hillside Borders, embossed snowflakes and a Winter Big Scripty greeting, her design is so ready to send holiday cheer!

Elena‘s cute Deck the Car is traveling through a very snowy landscape! She combined Snow Flurries Backdrop with Let it Shine Starry Skies paper to create this fabulous shaker design! I love how she used Peppermint Cord to “tie down” the snow-covered Christmas tree, it’s so clever!

Latisha used colors that are so whimsical and happy to create her beautiful card! I love how she used glittery cardstock to add sparkle too! She also used the cute little sentiment from Snowball Fight!

Tammy‘s white trees and Frosties snowflakes create a look that so dramatic on the black background! It serves to let Deck the Car be the star of this amazing Platform Pop-Up card!

Home for the holidays is a wonderful theme for Megan‘s design that is so gorgeous! I love the bright green trees and the hot foiled snowflake background!

Wow, Audrey used the Birch Tree Stencils so brilliantly! They are a great backdrop for the embossed Giant Holiday Messages greeting! She added a few snowflakes from Snow Flurries Backdrop and then brought in some red with images from Joy to the Woods!

I love how Elise used Deck the Car to make an “anytime” hello card! She used a sentiment from Car Critters Christmas Add-On with Hello Border on a Stitched Cloud Backdrop!

Yainea‘s “merry” card is so whimsical! I love how she colored the car and tree to look “cartoony”! The Birch Trees stenciled on dark blue looks so pretty with the pink hot foiled greeting and Knit Picky Winter frame!

Kara used silver metallic cardstock for the car on this special design! She hot foiled the greeting and then used lots of layers of Knit Picky Winter paper and Peacock cardstock!

Lawn Fawn Video {9.27.22} Joy’s Stenciled Fangtastic Friends Halloween Card

Joy is back with another adorable card design! For this video tutorial she created a fun Halloween card with a stenciled background! You can watch the video below or click HERE to watch at our YouTube channel.

Thanks so much for watching!

To begin this charming Halloween card, Joy used Birch Tree Stencils. She chose 3 shades of Distress Oxide ink, Dried Marigold, Carved Pumpkin and Crackling Campfire to fill the background. Next, she used the mask to ink the trees with Hickory Smoke Distress Oxide ink. Then she added some spookiness with a dusting of Black Soot Distress Oxide on the edges.

Joy layered the inked Giant Trick or Treat on two more giant sentiments cut from Black Licorice cardstock. She arranged the die cuts so there is a slight shadow that makes the greeting pop! And finally, she added the adorable little bats from Fangtastic Friends!

I love this adorable design so much! Thank you for inspiring us today, Joy!
