Lawn Fawn Intro: Village Heroes

Hello and welcome to our May Mini Release! Our mini release is now available at lawnfawn.com and your favorite stores, and we are so excited to share these fun new products with you this week!

We are switching things up for this special mini release: our release and Inspiration Week are starting on the same day! Even though it’s a different type of release week, there will still be giveaways, of course! We are giving away ALL of the products in this mini release to one winner each day so be sure to comment on each post this week! Also, keep a look out for our big Summer release in mid June!

Today is our showcase of Village Heroes and its coordinating dies! We are so excited for this new set in our Village series. This set is so perfect for creating cards and projects to thank our front-line workers in health care, first responders and teachers! And we are so happy to donate 100% of the profits from this stamp set to charity for Covid-19 relief!

The design team has made the most amazing samples! And we have a couple of videos to help introduce this Mini Release week and the Village Heroes set! Remember to click on the person’s name to see all of the details and leave these wonderful DT girls some comment love!

Megan created a vertical slimline design to show off the fun images from Village Heroes! She paired the police station with the police car, fire station and fire truck and the hospital with the ambulance! The cozy little Happy Village house fills out the vignette at the bottom!

Tammy made an adorable card set with Village Heroes! The cute little circle scenes and the slimline scene all use Road Border and images from Happy Village. She even included the little dog from Tiny Christmas!

Grace created a fun and colorful scene with the Village Heroes images! It looks like Main Street is busy with all the heroes doing their jobs! I love how she used Oliver’s Stitched ABCs to spell hero!

Elise created a sweet set of cards for her local heroes! Each card shows a different frontline hero from the Village Heroes set: Police, Fire and Hospital! She used Reverse Stitched Scalloped Square Window to frame the scenes and spelled out hero using Louie’s ABCs!

I love how Latisha created her little Village Heroes town on the Slimline Stitched Hillside with the buildings following the curve of the hill! It’s totally whimsical and so cute! Also whimsical are the stamped clouds, with smiley faces, in the stenciled cloudy sky!

For her fantastic fire fighter themed card, Audrey used the Simple Road Border die and combined Happy Village with Village Heroes! I love how she colored in brick on the fire station!

Jenn‘s cute village scene takes advantage of the length of her slimline design! She included images from Village Shops and Happy Village! I love how all the Village sets coordinate together!

The little ambulance, hospital, stop sign and sentiment are all part of the new Village Heroes set!

Yainea created adorable water-colored gift tags using Stitched Circle Tags with an Everyday Sentiment Banner for the sweet sentiment! Wouldn’t these look great attached to a thoughtful thank you gift?

Mindy used the new Slimline dies to create this busy village scene! I love the bright colors she chose! All the heroes in this quaint town are ready to help and this is a great way to thank them!

I love how Lynnette layered all of the Village Heroes images to create this busy scene with heroes at work! It’s so cute!

Renata joins us today to share a beautiful Scalloped Box Card Pop-Up featuring some cute gnomes!

Renata used Oh Gnome! images to fill this adorable 3D scene! The scene includes some Butterfly Kisses butterflies attached using clear acetate so they appear to be fluttering overhead! She also filled in with pretty flowers from Fairy Friends!

The sentiments are from Simply Sentiments, Tiny Tag Sayings and Say What? Christmas Critters!

Grace’s Charming Card for Teachers

Join us on Tuesday as we introduce the fun sets in our May Mini Release! This release will be available on May 19th!

Grace is with us today to share a special card to send to teachers who are finishing the school year in these crazy times! I’m sure there are a lot of kids who miss their teachers.

Grace created a slimline card to accommodate this adorable long scene. She combined Dandy Day with A Bug Deal and some little images from Plan on It: School, Oh Gnome! and Butterfly Kisses.

The message is a combination of Oliver’s Stitched ABCs and a sentiment from Butterfly Kisses.

How cute is that stack of books sitting on the tree stump? The stump is found in Meadow Backdrop: Landscape and those cute mushrooms are found in Oh, Gnome! Grace inked the background with Tumbled Glass and Scattered Straw Distress Oxide ink, then she use watered down Peacock Feathers Oxide ink to add the splatters.

I just love how Grace used the Outside In Stitched Apple Stackables to make the school building, it is so clever! To turn the apple into a charming school building she used elements from Scalloped Treat Box Spring House Add-On. She added the school sign using Plan On It and Plan On It: School.

Thank you for sharing this adorable card with us today, Grace!
