Lawn Fawn Intro: Build-A-House Beach Add-On & Playful Pineapple


Hello and welcome to Lawn Fawn’s July Inspiration and Release week! Introducing!

Today is our showcase of Build-A-House Beach Add-On! This decorative add-on will turn Build-A-House into a relaxing beach house! Pair this set with Tiny Friends so cute characters can peek through the windows. You can even turn this into an interactive card by using Reveal Wheel and Reveal Wheel Build-A-House Add-On! This beach house is also an amazing addition for decorating your Platform Pop-Up. 

We are also highlighting Playful Pineapple! Use this sweet set to tell someone they’re the pine-apple of your eye!! Paper piece your pineapple with patterned papers or solid colors for a custom look every time.

Design Team Inspiration

The design team has made the most amazing samples! Remember to click on the person’s name to see all of the details and leave these wonderful DT girls some comment love! The Intro video for these sets is still in the works, so look for it later!


Elise paired a couple of Playful Pineapples to create a card that is so sweet! She cut the pieces from white cardstock before coloring them with Copic markers. I love the cute smiley faces and pretty hibiscus blooms so much!


Elena chose to skip the smiley faces to give her Playful Pineapple a realistic look! Her coloring is so amazing! She created her card with Fruit Salad paper and then added a sweet sentiment on a Bannertastic banner.


If Caly‘s amazing card doesn’t have you dreaming of a vacation at the beach…then you may not be a beach person! The Beach Add-On takes our Build-A-House set to sandy shores with palm trees swaying in the breeze. The sentiment Caly chose is so perfect for this beautiful scene!


Lynnette‘s design is so bright and happy! She used bold colors of cardstock to paper-piece her pineapple and hibiscus flowers. Then she included flowers and leaves from Tropical Leaves Backdrop and a Happy Birthday Line Border greeting! That perfect black and white striped background is made with Simple Stripes: Portrait!


The Tropical Leaves Backdrop is so perfect with our tropical Playful Pineapple! Marine paired the pineapple with smaller ones from Fruit Tiny Tags! They play so nicely together!


The mice are having so much fun at the beach! Tammy created a beach scene that is so cute featuring our new Build-A-House Beach Add-On, Hammock and Trees and Christmas Palm Tree.


I love Megan‘s design, it’s so bright and cheerful! The Playful Pineapple is so perfect to pair to with Fruit Salad washi tape and papers! And the tiny Stars Glitter in the background make her card so special!


Grace‘s summery card is so clever and totally cute! She used Magic Iris to create the oversized pool float for the Playful Pineapple! The pineapple looks so relaxed with a cold beverage from Woodland Critter Huggers Summer Add-On! Then Grace layered everything on a Stitched Ripple Backdrop, which is perfect as the crystal clear swimming pool!


Marine‘s amazing interactive design is proof that Build-A-House is so perfect for the Platform Pop-Up! And she made it even more amazing by creating a beach scene with the Beach Add-On, palm trees and a cute crab! She also included little fish from Build-An-Aquarium in the ocean waves on the Platform Pop-Up Hillside Wrap Around.


Latisha highlighted the Playful Pineapple in the Sunburst Backdrop, which she altered by cutting a larger circle. With pretty hibiscus flowers and a Henry’s ABCs greeting her design is so charming!


Audrey‘s tags are so delightful! She cut Stitched Circle Tags from Fruit Salad paper and Ballet Slippers cardstock before layering on her adorable Playful Pineapple. The googly eyes she added are so cute!


I’m dreaming of a vacation at a wonderful beach house, just like Mindy‘s nautical design! She stenciled the background waves and pretty sky, then she layered the Palm Tree Backdrop on top. She included a greeting from Happy Happy Happy!


Kara‘s Playful Pineapple card is so gorgeous! She used a combination of metallic and glitter gold cardstock to create the unique pattern on the pineapples. She also used glitter cardstock to fill in the hibiscus flowers. And then she added more sparkle with Confetti Background Hot Foil Plate for the background!


Yainea paired her Playful Pineapple with sunglasses and flowers from Woodland Critter Huggers Summer Add-On. Then she die-cut a fun greeting using Speech Bubbles. She painted watercolor stripes in the background before layering her cute collage on top!

Anglerfish Flip-Flop Inspiration


Tammy‘s design is so much fun! She combined the anglerfish from You Are Sublime, along with a bunch of other images, with the new Anglerfish Flip-Flop!


Elise filled her underwater scene with so many colorful and fun fish from You are Sublime and Anglerfish Flip-Flop! She inked the background using Ocean Wave Stencils, then she stamped lots of bubbles for extra texture.


Kara‘s Anglerfish Flip-Flop design is so cool! Using layers of Stitched Dens, she created a deep ocean cavern, so perfect for her anglerfish. I love her no line coloring and her inked “ocean” is so gorgeous!


Caly‘s Anglerfish Flip-Flop brightens this adorable light up card design! She also used ocean images from You Are Sublime and Mermaid for You to fill in her underwater scene!


Latisha‘s card is so sweet and simple! She made it special by framing the cute anglerfish with a Reverse Stitched Scalloped Square Window.


The How You Bean Seashell Add-On shells add so much brightness to Lynnette‘s cheery design! She combined the Anglerfish Flip-Flop with the original one from You Are Sublime, then she included a fun greeting using Big Scripty Words!


I love how Audrey added bright yellow behind the anglerfish lures so they look like they are shining! She also included the lobster and other scene setting images from You Are Sublime!


Jessica used a Chibitronics kit to light up the lures on the anglerfish! She flipped the Bayou Backdrop upside down to create ocean vegetation. Then she layered it over an inked and splattered Stitched Ripple Backdrop. Check out the video below to see her clever interactive design in action!



Tiny Gift Box Anglerfish Add-On Inspiration


Elena‘s whimsical pastel Tiny Gift Box Anglerfish Add-On critters bear little resemblance to their deep ocean namesake but are so adorable! They will add so much charm and cuteness to any ocean-themed party decor!


This charming anglerfish looks so much at home inside the deep water cave created with Stitched Dens! Grace added texture to the background with Sunray Stencil and then she stamped fish, seaweed and coral from Mermaid for You. Her sentiment combines Henry’s ABCs and You Are Sublime.


Kara‘s clever inky techniques give her Tiny Gift Box Anglerfish Add-On so much personality! These would be so adorable filled with treats at a kid’s party!


Oh, my goodness, how cute is Yainea’s Goodie Bag? She inked the water and sand, then she added texture with splatters. Her Tiny Gift Box Anglerfish Add-On looks so happy to have some Ocean Friends to join him! Yainea tied on a Hearts and Stars Skinny Tag with a sentiment from You Are Sublime.


Megan‘s anglerfish takes center stage on her mini card design! She added lots of bright color with die cuts from Build-An-Aquarium before finishing the card with a sentiment from Life is Good!


Marine‘s beautifully unique design uses the Magic Iris Snow Globe Add-On as an aquarium, so clever! She also included the tiny fish from Build-An-Aquarium to keep the anglerfish company!

Kara combined all three of our spotlighted sets on this cheerful “woofday” card! Pawsome Birthday works so well with Yappy Birthday and Yappy Birthday Add-On! Giant Make a Wish and Star Border make this birthday card so special!


Latisha made Pawsome Birthday the star of her delightful design! The rainbow colors and grid pattern create so much festive fun!


I love how Elise created a cool and colorful background with Star Border! Then all she needed to finish her amazing design is Giant Make a Wish die cut from Rose Gold Metallic cardstock! So stunning!


Yainea got so clever altering Giant Make a Wish! She swapped out “wish” for a trimmed Scripty Wishes in shiny gold and it looks so awesome! Then she added fun birthday images from Pawsome Birthday and Yappy Birthday! The tiny dog bones are so adorable creating pattern in the background.


Caly‘s Pawsome Birthday pup is so cute playing with the Furry and Bright pups! She set the scene brilliantly with lovely color and also the sofa from Window Scene: Winter!


Megan‘s aquarium-themed birthday card is so clever and creative! She cut Giant Make a Wish twice, once from white cardstock and again from Watercolor Wishes Rainbow paper. She used a Stitched Wavy Border to cut the rainbow paper before adding it to the other die cut to look like cake frosting! And then to really add fun she topped it off with candles from Stitched Cupcake!


I love how Lynnette added sweet little puppy vignettes around the Giant Make a Wish greeting! The pups from Pawsome Birthday, Yappy Birthday and Yappy Birthday Add-On add so much cuteness to this happy card!


And then Tammy used the same three dogs to fill her Platform Pop-Up birthday card! I love the fun color combo and the clever doghouse she created!


Grace‘s birthday card is so special, it totally takes the cake! She created the “cake stand” by combining Rooftop Border and Build-A-Drink Cocktail Add-On, so clever! She also added extra sparkle with Confetti Background Hot Foil Plate and lots of gold details!


Elena‘s card is so adorable for someone who’s a “bug deal”! Using Giant Make a Wish as her greeting, she then crafted a cute scene with A Bug Deal and Simply Celebrate More Critters!


Audrey‘s Dandy Day scene is so charming and goes so well with “making a wish”! The Giant Make a Wish greeting will fit perfectly with so many of our cute and happy sets!


The Pawsome Birthday pup is showing up all the best parties! Megan set the scene with Yappy Birthday and Yappy Birthday Add-On then she finished with a Scripty Birthday greeting!
