Introducing!
Today is our showcase of Build-A-House Beach Add-On! This decorative add-on will turn Build-A-House into a relaxing beach house! Pair this set with Tiny Friends so cute characters can peek through the windows. You can even turn this into an interactive card by using Reveal Wheel and Reveal Wheel Build-A-House Add-On! This beach house is also an amazing addition for decorating your Platform Pop-Up.
We are also highlighting Playful Pineapple! Use this sweet set to tell someone they’re the pine-apple of your eye!! Paper piece your pineapple with patterned papers or solid colors for a custom look every time.
Design Team Inspiration
The design team has made the most amazing samples! Remember to click on the person’s name to see all of the details and leave these wonderful DT girls some comment love! The Intro video for these sets is still in the works, so look for it later!
Elise paired a couple of Playful Pineapples to create a card that is so sweet! She cut the pieces from white cardstock before coloring them with Copic markers. I love the cute smiley faces and pretty hibiscus blooms so much!
Elena chose to skip the smiley faces to give her Playful Pineapple a realistic look! Her coloring is so amazing! She created her card with Fruit Salad paper and then added a sweet sentiment on a Bannertastic banner.
If Caly‘s amazing card doesn’t have you dreaming of a vacation at the beach…then you may not be a beach person! The Beach Add-On takes our Build-A-House set to sandy shores with palm trees swaying in the breeze. The sentiment Caly chose is so perfect for this beautiful scene!
Lynnette‘s design is so bright and happy! She used bold colors of cardstock to paper-piece her pineapple and hibiscus flowers. Then she included flowers and leaves from Tropical Leaves Backdrop and a Happy Birthday Line Border greeting! That perfect black and white striped background is made with Simple Stripes: Portrait!
The Tropical Leaves Backdrop is so perfect with our tropical Playful Pineapple! Marine paired the pineapple with smaller ones from Fruit Tiny Tags! They play so nicely together!
The mice are having so much fun at the beach! Tammy created a beach scene that is so cute featuring our new Build-A-House Beach Add-On, Hammock and Trees and Christmas Palm Tree.
I love Megan‘s design, it’s so bright and cheerful! The Playful Pineapple is so perfect to pair to with Fruit Salad washi tape and papers! And the tiny Stars Glitter in the background make her card so special!
Grace‘s summery card is so clever and totally cute! She used Magic Iris to create the oversized pool float for the Playful Pineapple! The pineapple looks so relaxed with a cold beverage from Woodland Critter Huggers Summer Add-On! Then Grace layered everything on a Stitched Ripple Backdrop, which is perfect as the crystal clear swimming pool!
Marine‘s amazing interactive design is proof that Build-A-House is so perfect for the Platform Pop-Up! And she made it even more amazing by creating a beach scene with the Beach Add-On, palm trees and a cute crab! She also included little fish from Build-An-Aquarium in the ocean waves on the Platform Pop-Up Hillside Wrap Around.
Latisha highlighted the Playful Pineapple in the Sunburst Backdrop, which she altered by cutting a larger circle. With pretty hibiscus flowers and a Henry’s ABCs greeting her design is so charming!
Audrey‘s tags are so delightful! She cut Stitched Circle Tags from Fruit Salad paper and Ballet Slippers cardstock before layering on her adorable Playful Pineapple. The googly eyes she added are so cute!
I’m dreaming of a vacation at a wonderful beach house, just like Mindy‘s nautical design! She stenciled the background waves and pretty sky, then she layered the Palm Tree Backdrop on top. She included a greeting from Happy Happy Happy!
Kara‘s Playful Pineapple card is so gorgeous! She used a combination of metallic and glitter gold cardstock to create the unique pattern on the pineapples. She also used glitter cardstock to fill in the hibiscus flowers. And then she added more sparkle with Confetti Background Hot Foil Plate for the background!
Yainea paired her Playful Pineapple with sunglasses and flowers from Woodland Critter Huggers Summer Add-On. Then she die-cut a fun greeting using Speech Bubbles. She painted watercolor stripes in the background before layering her cute collage on top!
