Grace is with us today to share another brilliant project! This time she created a set of 4 Hive Five cards with a Pop-Up Bee decorated Gift Box to hold them!

This is such an amazing gift idea! Grace created four sweet 4-bar sized cards with a friendship theme. Then she made a Gift Box to fill with the cards and 4-bar sized envelopes!

Gift Box

Grace made the Gift Box using paper from the All the Dots Collection pack. Then she decorated it with a Honeycomb Stenciled Scalloped Rectangle panel, a die cut sentiment and the Pop-Up Bee!

She gave the Pop-Up Bee some pretty wing detail with blue Pastel Pearlescent Vellum and Pixie Dust Sparkle cardstock. Then she added some shading to the wings using Peacock Ink. I love how she also stenciled the base of the Pop-Up Bee with honeycombs to match the panel underneath.

Card Set

Then, Grace created the 4-bar (3 1/2″ x 4 7/8″) cards with Hive Five and more stenciled honeycomb pattern.

Grace created sweet sentiments by combining Hive Five and Henry Jr.’s ABCs stamped with Black Licorice, Sunflower and No. 2 Pencil inks.

For the honeycomb stenciling, Grace used Lawn Fawn inks in Butter, Pizza Crust and Peach Fuzz.

Grace tied the card set together with the Gift Box by using All the Dots paper and of course the fun bee theme!

Thank you so much for inspiring us today, Grace! I love this brilliant gift idea, it’s so much fun!

Marine shares a great technique for creating two amazing backdrops with this one die! The frame becomes a fun shaker card, while the hexagon shapes add wonderful detail to the other!

She added images from Hive Five, A Bug Deal and a cute little bear from Den Sweet Den! The Honeycomb Backdrop is so perfect for making a whole card shaker element!

I love how Marine calls attention to the cute beehive by framing it with a glittery hexagon from the Honeycomb Shaker Gift Tag die set!

Thank you so much for showing us how you made this amazing pair of cards, Marine!

Lawn Fawn Video {6.4.23} Mona’s Sweet Hive Five Mini Slimline Card

Mona joins us today with another gorgeous card featuring Hive Five! She’ll show us how to color these cute images with a warm honey glow! You can watch the video below or click HERE to watch at our YouTube channel.

Thank you so much for watching!

To create the warm look of honey, Mona first stamped all the images from Hive Five and Gleeful Gardens in Crunchy Leaf ink. She also used images from Fangtastic Friends and A Bug Deal. Then she used her own techniques to add lovely color!

She built this lovely scene on a Ballet Slippers Large Mini Slimline panel. She added depth of color with Kitsch Flamingo Distress Oxide ink before splattering with water and white paint.

To create a pretty garden look, she planted the flowers in layers of grass! She used the grass die from Shadow Box Card Park Add-On and Cilantro cardstock.

I love the beautiful simplicity of this card design! Thank you so much for sharing with us today, Mona!
